Re visiting the OG 22mm GeekVape Avocado in single coil mode. Still great flavor and excellent air flow options for dialing in a perfect draw. Interestingly you wont find many youtube video's on this model. Most of them were removed at the time when youtube was striking reviewers I suppose. You will find several reviews however on the revised 24mm unit which came out shortly after this one. This one sports a half sized velocity deck originally created by Avidvapor with a ceramic (or delrin) insert in the other two cotton holes on the opposite side with a small hole that allows airflow to the center of the back side of the coil which gave it even more flavor. No wonder its still in demand for those who know how good it is. The cap provides a combination of either a full open mode, two or just one hole on either side of the deck making it very versatile as far as air flow options. Very tight, loose or a combination of both draws. As usual, the key was wicking the cotton to keep it from dry hitting. Get that right and its just about perfect.

Rose V3 aside the Mixx 21700. Broke out one of my two Rose’s today and she is just as lovely as she always has been. Just about perfect air flow and flavor

Taifun GX aside the Aspire Mixx 21700. Again, an almost perfect RDL draw and an interesting deck config with SS steel braids/ropes under cotton doing the wicking work. Use a 50/50 and you should have no issues wicking this one. The tank equalizes pressure well if you leave the small hole next to one of the post holes clear. Wicking this one correctly is key. Move your cotton around a bit if it’s not. Using a higher VG ratio will make you do more tipping than usual. The CNC work on the Taifun of course is the best in the business. You pay for what you get. Rocking a 3mm fancy single coil at .28ohms around 40 watts with some freshly made Stacio RY4 in the tank at 6mg.
