Good deal, you got it.
Wonder what the deal is. I always bought from NudeNic and got excellent, pur, clear, no-taste nic. Including this last time a few weeks ago when I received a litre. Then read after, of all the complaints about NN in Reddit...
....but had always only read good things about PurNic from River... and now this.
What's with quality control? Well... guess it doesn't matter anymore. But what a bummer to get bad nic. Esp now with the mail ban coming!
That's interesting. I bought a large amount of nic base in 2016 and was perfect. Then got this recent liter (also good), but didn't order between. Except for some tobacco extract, which had been WONDERFUL in 2016, dark and thick and so sweet. But when I reordered the same extract in 2019 was horrid and threw it out. Watery, light amber, and awful smelling and tasting. Something def changed with NN from the old days. But I feel fortunate my recent nic was good. In fact it sounds like everyone who got nic from anywhere recently is lucky if it was good!
More vapemail coming in, this from two sources. One here (thanks @MannyScoot - the flave 22, cotton and coils), and the rather rare Y-Stick from a great guy and shop in Miami 
With how I see it and this goes for any manufacturing.
If there are reports of a bad batch, the first thing that should be done is for said company to E-Mail all those with said batch purchases of potentially bad end product.
With River being the topic and Kidney Puncher wire as another example.
With KP, it took a bunch of us to contact KP about wire that wasn’t coming off the spoils right, or when you wrap a simple Clapton you can easily see the variations in the actual wire diameter... (think rather it being a consistent silvery wrap, there is discoloration, that is the gauges not being true through out) and this causes more complex builds ie aliens or 4 core fraliens, staples etc to fail at a much higher rate than one normally would have.
Other wire companies have had this happen too and not say a word, which is why I don’t order from them especially after bringing it up to them (denial and blamed the end user )
Long story short... all companies make mistakes or product leaves their site and it’s not up to standard... it’s the follow up and their willingness to make it right that makes a company worth a shit.
The worst part for us is the mail ban, this limits a lot of what these companies can do to make things right besides a refund.
Sucks and I feel for you all with bad batches, and I am glad I was able to at least facilitate that info forward...
Imagine 2+ years from now cracking open assed nicotine and being pissed cause you can’t be refunded at least... oogles

It is very possible I could have gotten an old bottle, or just a bad batch from nude. I didn't order again since Nic River was fine for me, and cheaper as well.
The issue I had now was from a batch from the St. Patrick's day sale. They were already getting flooded with orders, and this sale probably sent another big wave of orders at them. I am thinking it was a bad batch of PG that they used to make the base, but I guess it could be a bad batch of nic as well. With as many orders as they were trying to go fulfill, it probably wasn't hard to overlook that mistake. Am I disappointed, well sure. But they made it right within an hour of me sending an email, so I can't be too mad. I do feel bad for those who don't know about it and find out later. It would be horrible to find out in a year that the rest of your stock is rancid.
What I don't get is how it gets bottled up and sent out in the first place. Quality control is supposed to happen before it gets bottled.
I also just had bad SS wire for the first time, not from KP but another popular vape brand. Kept thinking it was everything else but eventually eliminated all else - then finally realized the TCR was not consistent across the length of the wire (impurities likely), making it impossible for TC to operate correctly. Tested the theory by pulling out some old Ti and yup. It was bad wire. Immed ordered more SS from Temco and will never get wire from anyone else again.
True. But for nic especially, quality control is quite easy when even a quick visual and smell test can tell you a lot. Unlike wire, say.
I imagine some ppl order nic that comes in glass bottles so they don't have to repack it, but mine always comes in plastic bottles and always transfer it to smaller glass bottles... which I guess turns out to be a good idea, even if you receive it in glass. Gives you a chance to see/smell that it's ok.
You and many others, judging from complaints I saw in Reddit, which shocked me. I had no idea NN's rep had fallen off the charts in recent years.
But as far as 'an old bottle' they (and all nic providers) should be keeping their stock in freezers. Unless they sell it through quickly.
I am sympathetic to them for sure with all the orders and also their businesses being gutted by the ban. So I'm not dissing them, just don't understand how this could happen if they (any of them) were taking what I would think would be routine/natural/SOP steps along the way. I guess maybe with the flood of orders and rush to make as much nic as possible, as fast as possible, corners were cut. Shame for all involved, including the suppliers.

No idea... I only can speculate why they didn't QC better... But I also won't rack my brain asking why... I mean you can ask them why the ball was dropped this close to the mail ban, they are active here on the forums... just tag them in their thread or here.
I also enjoyed Temco wire when they still had supply of N80 in the gauges I primarily use, wasn't always the cleanest, but it was one if not the best when in regards to consistency... if not always being the cleanest is a metric lol
Now for why a quick visual or smell test wasn't done, again I can only speculate that they aren't Breaking Bad in their clean room with funnels and probably have it fully automated... truly don't know, but I have to believe they aren't breaking down 55gallon drums out a spigot and running around without protective equipment fully ventilated... heck my cheap P100 ventilator I can't smell a thing through that.
Anyway, I am not making excuses or anything of the like... and I truly wish the mail ban wasn't here.
Ended up being 2 bad liter bottles of 250mg nic. Replacements on the way. Back to stocked up. So happy
This is the only bad experience ive had with nicriver. But they fixed the issue rite quick.
Funny you mention that b/c I hadn't gotten Temco in so long I couldn't remember if it was clean wire or not, so swiped with alcohol on a cotton ball before making my coils, and the wire was clean as a whistle (nothing on the cotton). So stopped bothering. But I've had dirty wire before - can't remember from where now, but was ages ago. Cotton swipe would come out with a dark grey streak in the fold. Yuckie now that I think of it!
Some of my last vape mail for awhile, before the ban hits completely. My matte gold and blue tm24 pro's came in along with some odd replacement bits, a black afc ring for the tm24, titanium screws, squonk pins etc, the occula and one of the goat rda's. And a ton of tm stickers (can't complain there).
How long does Half Moon Mods usually take for drip tips? I thought I'd have tracking info by now but it's like they make the drip tips as they're ordered. I imagined they had jars full of them that they could just grab and ship out. That must not be the case. Same goes for Kennedy. I thought they'd have plenty of mods made up to just ship out. Maybe Im just spoiled. It's only been 5 days or so.
I had an issue with my order that added a week to my shipping time, but without any issues it would have been about 2 weeks or so for them to ship it out.
I ordered a Cobblestone from Kennedy and it was about a week before it was shipped.

I waited like a dumbass, shiney new gear always won, to buy nic but bought 6 liters from RS during the St Pat's sale. After hearing of this on Reddit I was nervous and when it showed up, I smelled it and OFC it was nasty, musty smelling. My order were all 100mg vg and the liquid is very clear which didn't help my case when dealing with support trying to get replacements. After a few back and forths I finally received an email today that a replacement order will be on the way. Thank God I was bumming hard thinking I was fucked. So now I need to find the proper way to dispose of the tainted nic.

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to mixing so I ordered what I could afford [$300 shipped on sale]. Sounds like I'll be alright then. I vape 3mg most the time on my mechs but I hit 50mg on a Novo2 when I need a stealthy vape which isn't often so a $10 bottle last me a month or soDang 6 liters

Your good bro, lol. All depens how you use it. I have a little under 5 liters, but some is 48mg. I figure I am good for a little less than 20 yrs, which hopefully isn't my life span, lol. But figure I can see where things go from there.

I think it was about 2 weeks for me also.
Well, let me give it the longer answer.
You can ship anything with any of the shipping companies, but the items on their banned list can get you in trouble if caught.
You ALWAYS online and or in person either verbally and digitally acknowledge you aren’t sending any items on their banned list.
So if I send a bottle of Nic to Member A through USPS... I acknowledge on the point of sale I am not sending anything banned... meaning they can just toss it in the trash if found... additionally I am not sure if there is a fine that can be handed out knowingly sending said banned items- I would have to believe there is.

If I am not mistaken, that law says that private individuals can ship to other private individuals via USPS up to 10 times per month. Now, who is going to keep up with how many times you've shipped vape stuff to a friend? I mean, really?
Right now, according to what I read last night, shipping through USPS is still allowed until 27 April, but as of 27 March the recipient is supposed to appear in person and sign for the shipment, with proof of age.
The other "standard" shipping companies (FedEx, UPS, DHL) seem to be much more definitive and harsh in their rules than the postal service is being.
The whole thing is just a ridiculous cluster fuck.

wow...i was under the ignorant assumption it was JUST USPS only, and not the other shipping companies like FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc. - damn nations!! Now my stomach really sank....hells bells. I do not see how they can keep up with what is going out. It's about 2% of packages in customs that get physically checked by a human being, not to mention the millions shipped within the states...no way possible. You're right it's a ridiculous cluster fuck....and for what.

And just saw this morning my last FT order from several days ago (ordered a second Ragnar), had a changed ETA from 4/1 to 4/7. I chose expedited USPS shipping when I placed the order.... wanted that through customs by 4/27! Da'am this is stressful. And yes, for no reason! We're all long past legal age!
You know, speaking of "why" they're doing this - "to prevent children from ordering online" - the last time I ordered nic I had to enter my name and birthdate which was compared against a db... they should just do that. Make the person ordering responsible for providing proof of age for buying vape stuff, and leave the mail alone. The PO is already going broke - they NEED the business!
And if some kid uses a parent's name and birthdate to buy online, well then it's his own responsibility he lied to get products he (or she) is not supposed to buy. No diff than kids getting an older brother or sister to buy beer for them (or even a stranger). Kids will be kids. But you don't take unreasonable actions that harm adults, to protect kids. You take reasonable actions that protect *everyone's* rights, including adults, knowing determined kids will always find a way around things, and that's just the way it goes. We all went thru childhood - doing things reserved for adults is a kind of rite of passage for kids, right or worng, good or bad, that's the way it's always been and always will be. At least vaping is far better than smoking!

It's like this in my neck of the woods already. You must show your id to pick up vape packages. All Canadian sites have a disclaimer somewhere saying if you are underage & your order is shipped when you pick up if your underage they will refuse delivery & you don't get a refund. I have forgotten my id & had to go get it to claim the package!
This for the kids is bullshit alcohol & cigarettes are legal!! They both do way more harm than vaping nicotine!!

I personally think it's way too "big brother" to have to sign for vape packages. Imho, proof of age should be required at the sales point (online or B&M) and if online, you get your package like normal. Period. WTF. These aren't bomb-making materials, hazardous viruses being sent to a lab, or munitions on their way to some branch of the military. It's a damn tank. Or a deck. Or a mod. Or even juice. This desire for a sect of society to impose its moralistic bullshit on everyone else is the opposite of what free societies are supposed to be about. Live and let live. And face the fact that you cannot protect children from life. If you raise them with some morals, brains and love, they'll turn out just fine. If you don't, no laws will protect them from themselves.
It seems like some people want laws to take the place of parenting so they don't have to bother. But neither laws nor the parenting will work in that case.
