When procrastination results in a positive.....

I had been keeping an eye on a thread that @Bookbear had at The Trading Post. Before I could make up my mind to get it, he transferred it to the PIF section. Eagle Eye @Huckleberried remembered that I was a Veco tank fan and @'ed me. Even after offering to pay what he originally wanted for the tanks, @Bookbear sent them to me for nothing; only asking that I do something nice for another vaper.
My cup of VU Forum Goodwill overfloweth.....

Rik Mayall (Fred) was in a "troupe" sitcom on mTV called The Young Ones. It was bizarre and hysterical. Ya probably had to be there. :) Apparently @CrazyChef v2.0 was there, he remembers! :) I recall Neil, depressed, sitting clothed in the bathtub, contemplating suicide. Neil was always contemplating suicide. Very British, a-la twizted Monty Python.

A lot of the comedic lines in Fred went right over the heads of my kids (thank goodness), but his frenetic energy and beeline-for-chaos was a hit with them. We watched that movie every time it came on. It was a classic in our house to rival A Christmas Story or The Tear-My-Eyes-Out Little Mermaid or The Damned-Straight-To-Hell Karate Kid.

(My son could recite very nearly the ENTIRE Karate Kid movie at one time. (1) Kid had a memory for dialogue, and (2) We watched that fucker a million times.)

Cast of The Young Ones, that's Neil in the center back. Pitiful, eh? Red-headed guy (Ade Edmondson) played a character named "Vivian." Do we understand why he's a little aggressive? lol Don't remember the pin-striper's character's name.

No you got TRVP'd. I got two bottles with mine from him, but also got surprise batteries.

The Topside dual is heavier than the Drone, but very well built and 10ml juice capacity with no mess is simply a win.

I ended up getting this 85% because of the PM you sent me. Just saw it yesterday.

He TRVPed me on the Terk 2 as well - paid 45 CAD. I think he's becoming my source for RDAs. He sent me the Reload S for free when I bought his EVM as well.

Got my M25 on preorder too - going to put it on my hexohm.

Nice! I paid full price for the Reload S, but you also spent a lot of coin on that EVM.

Have you tried the Terk 2 yet? Interested in hearing your thoughts.

Early impressions but here are my comments from reddit:

I only have first impressions, but here they are:

The post design is great, but one of mine doesn't work. It's like the gold block stopper thing is partially threaded and the screw gets stuck when unscrewing, the block stays at the bottom. I have to pull it up with my fingers. I was scared I was going to break it the first time because the screw really gets stuck in it. Other post works as advertised and is great.

It's more of a dripper than a squonker. The coils sit high above the airflow so you'll need to rely on capillary reaction rather than dunking the coil like you would with a single coil 22mm or some duals like the Kali.

Airflow reminds me of the CSMNT - how the air passes through saturated wicks before hitting the coil.I'm using it at about 80% open because it's super airy if you're using <=3mm coils.

24mm and 25mm caps are great for tube users.

All in all i'd recommend for a tube user. For someone planning to use it on a squonker, it's good but you could go with the others and base your decision on aesthetic.

It's the same family/style as the Goon 25 when it comes to performance.

But again, super early impressions.

Yeah. I think the block might actually be upside down so the stopper or whatever that should stop it from catching threads isn't working. Maybe it's chamfered on one side for the screw but being upside down would make it catch the thread?

I've had it leak quite a bit already because i'm used to dunking my coils. It's a user error but definitely 100% better for dripping.

One thing i'll mention is that it's better to not centre your coils. You want to install them so they sit on whichever side your airflow will be open. I doubt many will be vaping it full wide open and need the coils centered.

Hmm, I'll probably pass on that one.

Did your Topside come with a screen protector? I'm not sure if there's one on there and didn't want to pick at the screen. It looks like there may be one?
