I don't care that isn't what you posted and others see the problem but if you are not man enough to apologize fine.

Okay, I'm not going to derail the challenge thread any longer. This started with you mis-quoting jwill who was quoting MY POST, not yours.

Just being like you and proving the point. But it's cool. And literally forgotten in 21 minutesTrolling? This has been forgotten but must keep derailing?

*disclaimer. i only run this build on a quad parallel box with vtc5a batteries. on this setup, .05 ohms draws about 85% of my combined cdr, or the same as a .2 ohm build would draw from a single vtc5a. only build this low if you have the hardware to do it properly.
i vape all over the place with regard to styles/power levels/hardware. ill enter my highest and lowest powered setups and skip all the middle ones.
starting at the lowest wattage, my current favorite mtl build. this is a 3x32/42 n80 alien in a kayfun prime. it settled in at .7 ohms and i run it on an istick30w at about 28w. i have the kayfun on the tightest air, and this gives me a pretty short (up to two seconds max) and hot mtl drag, similar to my old hand rolled, filterless cigarettes i smoked since i was a kid. fast ramp-up and a good throat hit with 12 - 18mg nic. this setup is my work setup for the most part, but i often just use it as a daily banger, all by itself.

and this is my highest powered setup. it actually needs a bit of a disclaimer* for this challenge, because its 'super sub-ohm'. its a .05 ohm staggerton variant. at over 300w its a fast ramp-up and a warm vape. due to the mass of the coils, this is not as hot as some people might think it is at >300w...but it will get there pretty fast if you dont take the right puff off it. i take a one to two second drag where i let go of the switch about half way through/when i feel the vape start to get hot, and i stay right in the temp range i like. i have it in a goon with 2 air holes opened and a standard 810 tip. i cant find the specs on this build, but the wire was a low resistance 'competition' wire (unknown composition) and it was .4mm ribbon and 26 gauge frames (pretty sure it was 10 x .4mm in total).

hopefully these two builds help to fight the misconception that 'exotic coils' have to be huge and require a ton of power, and also to show that wattage by itself means very little with regard to what kind of vape you will get. here we have an alien build at 28w that gives warm, one to two second drags, and a >300w staggerton variant that also gives warm one to two second puffs
I love that stag man. Great build and colori vape all over the place with regard to styles/power levels/hardware. ill enter my highest and lowest powered setups and skip all the middle ones.

yeah i wanted to really drive that home because its not a normal or casual way to vape. and yeah the clouds are ok i guessGreat write up mate especially drawing attention to the safety first aspect! bet those staggs create some pretty big plumage haha
I love that stag man. Great build and color
That’s a different one..Here's what I have in that exact same atomizer - wattage in the 30s with mech/unregulated squonking:

And I mean, that's actually the Same atomizer as the one in your pic...unless you bought another one, cause I bought this one from you
I dont use it much, got it out the other day to give it another try, though
Lol...Woot! Lovin the coil pics and descriptions of what and how users are doin with their stuff. That bein said, I guess I should ask the first questions as I am just now wigglin my way into RTAs and away from premade coils.
How can people vape at such low wattage? I am vapin at 100+ and it baffles me people can enjoy a 20+ hit.
People vapin in the 20-50 range, are your clouds the same as someone over 100?
What coils would be good at quick ramp up but can handle 100+ wattage?
Gonna be a day or two before I can put my new coils in a new Rimfire I got the other day. Still plannin to buy a Glaz in the future but my FreeMax Pro RTA needs a break. Will post up soon hopefully.

Tri core is 30gx3/38g. Pharaoh mini has a quad core fc ss 6 wrap 30gx4/40g .33 30w with 60w punch (was feeling rowdy yesterday).

I can't really answer that. I was already using the Nano when I started mixing. My flavor percentages have dropped over time. I think most people's does as they get used to diy. My mixes now range 4-13%. I prefer a cooler vape which why my watts are low. I almost didn’t post because I am a bit of an oddball with my preferences.Letitia do you have to increase the flavour concentrate %? just wondering whether the lower wattage with this coil type affects it

That's the $64,000 question. How can people vape at such low wattage? I am vapin at 100+ and it baffles me people can enjoy a 20+ hit.
King, I cant agree more. When my local shop offered the FreeMax RTA with their regular I jumped on it. Loved it so much I turned around and bought the silver carbon fiber Pro to match.I used to be much like that Omaga when I was on the old TFV8 beast tanks, used to think 120W was normal haha
Thing I found was the more I messed with rebuildables and builds, more I realised I could get decent flavour/cloud hit, at a similar temp using a lower wattage.
These coils were 0.13ohm (tri core) they actually came with the fireluke so not sure on what materials and gauges were involved, but this sort of option is well worth a try for new builders wanting to dip their toe in the water without the monetary outlay (get a sub ohm with a decent RBA option)

The faster it kicks you out of TC mode, the better...

No, I mean... people who can enjoy low wattage vaping are just a complete mystery to me, and, what I especially fail to understand is their common tendeny to religiously keep wanting to believe that I'm nothing more a wannabe flavor chaser simply for the fact I typically vape at 120+ watts. I made the instantaneous switch to vaping (i.e. without becoming a dual user first) by starting at 80 watts and taking it to 90 watts after my first vaping week. What's more, I hadn't even been vaping for a whole month yet at the time when I built my own coils for the very first time (pic below) and what that basically means is, it took me less than a month to transform myself from a cigarette smoker into a 140 watts flavor chasing MANIAC.Right coil in the right atomizer is how you vape at 10W or under. I was using a Nautilus Mini at 9.5W to 12W for years. But lately I am using Sub Ohm TC coil at 60W and 460-480°F for months. Just have to use it correctly, and not like you can vape at 20W with that 100W coil. really? Think about it for a minute. Right Coil and Air Flow for a set wattage.
Those are beautiful coils. Here's my favorite 80-100 watt range in RDAs - framed staples, these are stacks of 0.3mm kanthal ribbon and 31g SS430 frames
I think the higher gauge the outer wire is, the longer coils go without needing a cleaning because air circulates more when inhaling, and they cool faster between puffs

This isn’t about how big a coil or how much power.... there’s no such thing as a best way to vape. I think it’s best to show all ways we as members here prefer. This way when newer vapors come check out the site, they won’t be pushed to stray from what they enjoy.I can't really answer that. I was already using the Nano when I started mixing. So true. Start low, and work your way up to what you like. No sense in getting a mouth full of super hot vapor.Exactly - or the unenlightened who don't understand why they really shouldn't vape at 200 watts just because that's what the mod can do
