As long as you keep the center pin screw long enough. I just had to adjust mine yesterday because it wasn't reading on my RX200.

.16 Ohms is waaayyy to low for a Series Build...I wouldnt go anything lower the .4 Ohms and I like my vape hotter then most do.

Try 2 x 26g/36g or 38g 8-10 Wrap/3mm ID Fused claptons, I find this to be my favorite build so far on the Cricket and I have pondered whether or not I should make some more and toss them into the Diablo RTA I have...I may do that in a minute actually :D

You can fit those in the Diablo? Have one on the way but didn't think the deck was big enough for that kind of build. Me happy if it is.

For adjustable pins - I always wonder if the pin is getting screwed back in when I attach the atty, so if it doesn't look long enough tightened down, tend to err on the side of caution and not use it.

And I hear rumors about a new switch button, anybody seen one?

Nope but I did manage to fit 2 x 26K/36N80 8 Wraps in it, .48 Ohms and on the Cricket its bad ass but I need to play with wicking, it dries out instantaneously and burns...I need to loosen it up. Ill post pics shortly when I rewick it.

I forgot to upload those pics...Its a beast and I dont even need to drip now, the cotton holds up now that its a bit more loose and fluffed up also. I used the Logoless Diablo RTA so it would be a completely blacked out setup, which I think looks badass.
2 x 28KA1/36N80 Fused Claptons (9 Wraps/3mm ID @ .47 Ohms)

The entire set up is smaller then my Balrog 70w with the same RTA on it...

ahhh fuck man, where do you get the logoless one? That's about the only aesthetic thing I want, just nothing.

Just ordered the "indestructable" to go with my NC. Authentic for $20 bucs!!

I got the indestructible a couple weeks ago to use with my cricket, and was super turned off by the massively airy non adjustable side afc, even with big hot builds it wAs just way to much for my style even with the top afc totally closed, but a couple days ago I threw my tobh afc ring on it and opened up 1 1/12 of the top afc and it's just right for me. That beefy deck with cool looking design and top airflow, and restrictive flavourful draw. I knew there had to be a way I could have my cake and eat it too ;) I'm thinking about drilling a forth side hole above the others on the tobh afc now

Well after a week i finally manage my time to be able to make a decent noob coil for the indestructible, and it's a lot of vapor, 12 wraps, 22k @ .34 ohm

Pretty happy with it, now i just need an RDA that support big coils and it will be perfect

a Series build

What is a series build? A build to use on a series box?

And I see the pos. leg is touching the other wraps. Somehow I had it in my head that you weren't supposed to let them touch like that, that will make some things a lot easier...

very nice build btw

Series Build is a Build for a Series Box, a Build between 3.5-.8 that is specifically made for the 8.4V, a build can have that same resistance but not be very functional for series and burn the cotton. A build that is long and wide and fat to handle all that voltage/power.

I wouldnt recommend overlapping your wraps but its not the worse thing you can do, I have seen it done but mostly done with builds created for pictures.

Its not touching any wraps except the wrap it would be touching regardless so its not hurting anything, where that wrap looks like its touching its actually bent towards the positive post, its not actually overlapping the wrap its next to like it seems.

Just wanted to clear some of that up for you ;)

Thanks man, always appreciate all the good info.

Do you think a 6 wrap, 3.0mm framed staple coil will fit in the Griffin? Got these from PureCoils and they are so pretty and nice that I don't want to mess them up trying to shoehorn them into something that is doomed to be a fail....

If they fit on any 22mm RDA they'll likely fit on the Griffin. I have made one 3mmID coil that didn't fit (24g Chain link IIRC but it was just for fun to mess around), and other 3mms are a tight fit, so I usually use 2.5mm but I'd imagine you'll be good. Just really depends on the thickness of the wire.

Don't use those on the NC though :p

It fits, I had his Alien Framed Staples in mine.
The rule of the Griffin is what Jerus said, if it can fit in the Velocity RDA the Griffin will also hold it.

Anyone have a 24mm rda who can put one on a noisy cricket? I wanna get the magma reborn but I'm afraid it will be to big.

Dude, "Superquonker"? That was too funny! :D
All Squonk and no Muscles ;) Deamed the Super Squonker!

New build in the Velocity, I wanted something slightly warmer then the last build but not too much warmer. So I repeated the build and lost 2 wraps each coil and this damn time I made sure both coils had the matching number of wraps! It vapes just like I want it to, warm vapor, clouds thick enough to chew on and flavor like you wouldnt believe...god I love series mods.

Like Raymo said, they should fit in there perfectly. Seriously, it's like they're meant for each other.

Thank you gentlemen, gonna go do that.

Wow oh wow! Came in at .12ohms, wicked with rayon, and that is hands down the best flavor and vapor production I have ever had. But I don't know what's going on, the Noisy Cricket is getting so hot I had to put on a glove to hold it. j/k RX200 @ 98 watts.

I keep running up the watts, at 125 and these just keep getting better...

You made me pretty tense for a moment lol
Preparation H should clear it right up. Maybe a little magnesium citrate for good measure.

Nah, but this takes me back to a certain convo I'm sure you remember lol. I didn't shit for days after that one. Huuuuuurrrrrngh! Never did figure that one out IIRC.

Don't be playin like that anschutz! Butt-clenching is pretty serious stuff. Be decent bro. That shit ain't decent. Nobody likes going to visit the butt-doctor.
