Ain't that the truth. Unbelievable that anyone could get away with a quarter of the amount of outright TREASON these fuckers are guilty of. Was so much happier when I was blissfully unaware that anything like all this was going on. The fact that were were actually still treated legally as a colony of freaking England in the Corporation of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA since after the Civil War and the taxes the IRS collects was actually going to the IMF before a portion was allocated back to us after the Bankers, the Queen, the Pope & the UN took their cut was un-fucking believable.
Trillions & Trillions looted in the form of interest on debt that never actually existed in the first place for decades & decades raises the bar of a criminal enterprise to a whole new level. We were (each citizen) collateralized as assets of the corporation with up to 10 Annuity accounts created in our names with our Birth Certificates and Social Security numbers to secure this national debt. Therefore, the more immigrants the corporation took in, the more collateral assets the corporation would ultimately have to collateralize based on a model of our forecasted contribution to the future economy to secure the national debt. That is why the Swamp Uniparty has no interest in closing our borders & would never truly seek to curb immigration, illegal or otherwise. Hence the wholesale & chain immigration policies taking place all over the world.

It's unfortunate there was a screw up with the missile warning system in Hawaii. Odd take on all of it though from a lot of people commenting. Bitching and moaning how it gave them a heart attack, scared the shit out of them etc. The flip side of that is, look how it caught 99.9% with their pants down. At least it WAS a false alert and perhaps a teachable moment to get their shit together in the event the next one IS real. I mean if that's your two options for how things could have gone down, a minor inconvenience of a worrisome alert vs being vaporized - really, they're going to bitch about the best case scenario?
Of course they'll try to blame Trump somehow even though it wasn't his fault. Even fox likes to put a spin on things, at first commenting how Trump was on the golf course like he was yanking his dick the way obummer would've been. Then later it's revealed oh, yea on the course with a government official likely having a meeting on the course. Forgot to mention that bit.
Other complaints around it involved griping about lack of federal support for preparedness and shelters. So if the feds show up with backhoes and start looking for places to dig and put shelters in place, where would they like them? On one of their pristine beaches or under one of the buildings that would obviously have to get demolished to do so? Maybe it's just me but you'd think with all the various newer buildings on the islands they maybe, just maybe would have thought to build bunkers in the basements WHILE construction was underway. Guess they didn't learn from Pearl Harbor. As always, those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Various people that were being interviewed within hours or so of the incident. The news was trying to get info from a congresswoman (D) there in Hawaii as well as the Governor. Others chimed in as well describing their experiences like the guy who hid himself and family in a tub then covered it with a mattress, another couple of people who hid in their garage. Some of them were social media responses from people.Ummm... wot???

Some just told of their reaction to the news, others said how irresponsible it was for scaring them half to death. It was brought up that Hawaii is a sitting duck and receiving little to no federal assistance for any sort of real action plan. There's apparently an 11 or 13 page slideshow on emergency preparedness online they were rambling on about. However they said what do the people of Hawaii do in the event it were real, they have no place to go and take shelter. In part blaming the feds for not protecting them more than they do.
What I was pointing out, it's easy to bitch about being sitting ducks with no shelters, I totally get that. But let's assume someone could snap their fingers and address that complaint. Heavy equipment is sitting on shore ready to go to solve the lack of bunkers - there is no easy solution since it would involve heavy excavation and they just lack the real estate. What room they do have is either natural, beaches, preserved for the beauty or covered with structures. I would hate to see the beaches and things tore up so I get that, but it doubles back on ok, so bitching aside - what IS the solution? I don't think they have one.
No solution but it's the government's fault. If in fact they'd taken lessons from pearl harbor involving an attack with older tech, newer buildings could have been fitted with shelter basements as the were constructed. Instead they didn't and now there's no real means of fixing the problem.

National defense. If there is one thing the government should be responsible for, it's defense, including public bomb shelters.
It makes good sense to have public bomb shelters because if all of the civilians can be killed rather easily, there isn't much left to defend, right? Wars are often won by civilian casualties. We like to think now-a-days that cities will never be bombed like was done in previous large scale wars but there has never been a large scale war since WW2. Despite the geneva convention, it will happen again if there is another large scale war. Countries want to win and the winner will not be prosecuted for war crimes. War is ugly.
Public bomb shelters used to be a thing until the theory of MAD, mutually assured destruction. Then the US stopped building them. But the other countries didn't.
Not having having public bomb shelters using the theory of MAD is the same as laying down and dying. It's giving up. It's conceding defeat.
