I felt sick after vaping 18mg nic when I first started. Dumped 150 bucks worth of juice down the drain and re-purchased it all in 6mg. Stayed at 6 for a while, at 3mg now and feeling fine, and still no urge to smoke
You don't have to throw high nicotine juice away, just buy lower nicotine in the same flavors you like and mix them. Sweet-Vapes also sells unflavored ejuice in any combination of Pg/Vg, nic and you can add that, to juice...

Tech Tip. Leave a Harley motor running & go have a beer. You know right then the motor will take you wherever you want to go.

Years of severe life have gotten to me. Don't need Viagra. Pussy either. Costs too much. Only costs 800.00 to ride a Legend for three years. Where should I go next.

If that's the case, I would quit vaping if I were her. She's obviously having a reaction from either pg or vg or both. Nothing left to suggest

Plenty of people vape without one or the other. She just needs to rule out the problem!

Vaping pure PG? never heard anyone do that

They do. It's more likely to be the PG than the VG in any event. VG issues seem to be accompanied by bronchial issues rather than nausea. And different types of VG can also cause issues which can be solved by switching VG.

In any event, it's most certainly worthwhile to try and get to the bottom of the problem, particularly if the alternative is smoking - wouldn't you think?

Hey, I remember saying that it's mostly probably from the nicotine. But if it's not the nicotine or the pg it's prob the tank. You said a metallic taste?? That shouldn't happen. What are your watts? Pls try getting a better tank with Japanese organic cotton. You just got the kanger? Let us know how that is going. And also are you sub ohming? Or using the 1.5 ohm? Was it 1.5? Sorry, this is happening when you want to quit smoking. But really... Everything little thing counts and changes the whole experience. At least you didn't give up.

I don't know anybody that vapes 100% Propylene Glycol (PG)...not anybody .. But I Do know a lot of people who vape 100% Vegetable Glycerin (VG Max) including me, with no ill effects at all...I was told by my local shop who custom mixes my juice that PG is used sometimes to cut the thick VG for use in tanks with the little tiny juice inlets (protank series).... dripping juice with any PG in it was awful...lame, see-thru clouds, plus made my coils spit and pop like crazy...juice spitback was so bad one day I got a blister on my on the tip of my tongue...
I don't use any PG in my subtanks or RDA's these days...absolutely no use for it in my juice .....but that's after vaping 2yrs ...my learning curve has come a long ways from my newbie days ...

I have a friend who vapes 100% PG in a nautilus - it works fine for her! She can't seem to tolerate VG, so she switched, and at least she can vape now. And of course Halo juice is extremely high PG (nobody knows exactly how much, but it's very high). And no, you can't lung inhale comfortably with high PG (if any, depending on equipment).

But this thread is about trying to solve the OP's problem. There are a lot of alternatives to be explored, and it would be a shame if she went back to smoking because we couldn't solve her problem.

My prediction is too much nicotine. I smoked 25 years, Marlboro reds. When I quit and started vaping I started at 18mg. It was a bit much and made me have a slight sick feeling. I am down to 3mg and I love vaping as opposed to cigarettes now. Never feel nausea any more

Hi Sunshine, how are you doing with the aspire? It's a good starting ecig.

Don't go over the 12mg or 1.2% nic mark. As a few people said, like myself who's used to smoking a pack or 2 a day... even 12mg made me a little nauseous. I'm now down to a comfortable 3mg juice.

Try different juice vendors. Lots of vendors also put a lot of stupid stuff in their liquids, some which just made me totally green. While others coped well on the same juice, I was just green.

Also stick with simple flavors, or no flavouring at all. You'll probably find it easier to tolerate. These days i just make my own stuff, that way i know what I'm burning.

All the best of luck!

That is nicotine OD. It lasted me 1 week and was bed ridden. When the time got my first mod I chain vaped 18mg because vapor is nothing like smoke so you don't really feel that terrible heaviness in your lungs. Needless to say, I needed 6mg not 18

I used 36mg during my 2 month transition to Vaping. Although it was crap marker sized 510s and black/clearo twist on cartomizers

You can't get much volume of vapour off those, so high concentration is usually ok. (unless it gets in your mouth lol)

Subtanks rock, and should be entry-level for people these days. I still use around 6mg, but mainly because I'm at work and don't have huge time.

Accidentally put in some old 18mg Skittles one day and went to a family BBQ, they all thought I was on m*th ... lol. Jittery and anxious

6-9mg would be tops for 0.5ohm starting out. VG types can mess with people, as can PG in general.

Of course your body is clearing out tons of toxins, most of which were sidelined due to the constant intake of more toxins.
Hell I even had some withdrawal symptoms from a few of the 4000 chemicals I was inhaling
One type of juice from CN gave me hives on my chest, and there are 'quit zits' from detoxing

Sourcing good VG, Nic and flavours are key. The markup on store juice is really insane. My cost is $20-25 / 750ml depending on flavouring mainly

I think it's the ce4.. Ive had the same problems after using my ce4 for a while. just bought a kanger aerotank v3 and just then I started to feel good! haven't had any issues anymore!

Well its been a while since I was here. I'm now using an Eleaf iStick 30w with the Aspire k1. After trying various juices I finally discovered that Virgin Vapor VG does not make me sick, now I've got headaches only. I reread all of this thread and have decided to bring down the nicotine level. Its been a rough 10 weeks so far but I didn't go back to the cigarettes. I was thinking of getting something better than the Aspire as it is way too small and impossible to clean. I don't want to make clouds just something that gives me a hit and suits VG juice.

Good to hear you're on track. Keep doing your research, ask questions, and try new things if you can. You will hit on some combo that rings your bell. Like one of the other poster's mentioned, you can use a small amount of distilled water to mix with the VG juice to thin it out a bit so it will wick better.
