7AM this morning: Shit I just had to send Mom to the Hospital I think she had a stroke~!


Well just got home from the Hospital and Mom was resting comfortably when we left. Cat Scan, MRI, Echo Cardio Sonogram plus Blood and Urine and she is scheduled for a Neurological.

The first thing I saw was jj2 's post and I will get to the rest of you~!

Edit: Stroke almost totally ruled out and leaning towards a Seizure. That is all I have for a Prognosis at present. After 12 hours at the ER and then right to CDU my brain is a bit fried. Having a coffee with a touch of Coffee Liquor.

Hope they figure out what happened and she will be okay.

So I spoke to the Hospital and they had the Results of the MRI and No Stroke, No Tumor and said it all looked good. But I wasn't too Happy with the PA who is the night Supervisor for CDU when he said "OH you could pick her up tonight if you want"~! In my head I was like WTF? And I asked a few questions and requested some more things get looked into like the Tremors and Cramping of her hand.

Update on Mom from yesterday:

So I have been on the Phone with the Hospital all morning and afternoon. First I was checking on her thinking she might come home today but that has changed because now they say she has a Minor UTI. So they are admitting her for a couple of days to give IV Antibiotics. Then was dealing with a Social Worker because they want to send her to a Rehab which I said NO~! She will get better care and Physical Therapy here with a Visiting PT. This way I can push them both to help Mom gain her strength faster.

So I went to the hospital around 4PM to check on Mom and she wasn't admitted yet. I sat with her a while and fed her dinner but an RN came and interrupted it to take blood and ruined Mom appetite~! ARRGH~! Then they moved her to a room so I stayed a while and now I am cooking a Shell Steak on the BBQ. Had a visitor while I was preparing the BBQ.

I just seen this Steve, been sick myself lately, I sure hope they figure it out for her, sending extra prayers for her, extra cause I have kept her in my daily prayers since I first heard she was sick years ago.

Yes anymore they do push people out and that's how they miss stuff.

Yesterday Afternoon:
So Mom is supposedly on her way Home~! They gave me some BS about her needed 2 people to Transport? When the Transport Ambulance gets here she is being put in the Recliner just inside the door~! I know she is just being difficult because she doesn't want to be there. I have feeling it won't be long before i am telling her to Slow Down and Take It Easy~! In the Hospital when she was in the CDU, I was there when she had to go for one test and I made her stand up and walk to the Transport Chair but other times she was handed like an invalid~! Mom has never fallen with me but I did have to sit her on the floor once recently before I sent her to the hospital.

All future Doctor Visits are set up for TeleHealth so it will be done on the Web. I already tested my Laptop but the freaking Fire HD10 Tablet it isn't working on because freaking Amazon has a Silk Browser that isn't supported. So I was wresting with it for a coupe of hours and got Firefox installed but it does load on it. Trying to get Chrome on it and I will see if I have time tonight to screw with it.



Yesterday Evening:
When the Senior Transport got here I went outside and she started
crying
so I jumped in the Ambulance and gave her a kiss and told her she is Home~! I promised she would never go into Nursing Home~! She is sitting in the recliner in her PJ's and I will putting her to bed soon. I asked f she wanted something to drink and she said Yes I want a Big Drink~! So I gave her a glass of wine. The Hospital says she needs 2 people to move her but I dressed her and took off the damn Heart Monitors they left on her~!!

So Mom is eating well but still unable to get out of bed so I had to disassemble the Patient Lift I had upstairs for when my Dad was alive and brought it down to Moms room and reassembled it. Sucks having to use it but having it is a Blessing.

Well it's a good sign that she's eatin my friend, You're a good son Steve, your mom is lucky to have you there with her

So at 6:30 this morning I heard a noise and checked the camera in Moms room. Shock and Surprise she was standing at the Dresser looking for Sox~! I gave her a Shower and a nice change of Fancy PJ's for Easter~!

I got an Easter Blessing~! <3
