Well flavor doesn't really have as much to do with the rda your using as the build you've put on it in my opinion the best flavor build is the dual Clapton which will be really easy to install on your velocit (speaking from experience as a proud velocity owner) . Rip trippers has a really informative build tutorial on youtube for the Clapton. It will have some noticeable ramp up time but is a crazy good favor chasing build. Hope my post helps you out.

Tugboat, Manta V2, Aeolus, Hastur are pretty good flavor RDAs. However, they don't have the airflow like the Velocity or Mutation X etc.

Love my Velocities. Built them up with 24 Ga Nichrome core 32 Ga Kanthal wrap claptons. Very nice! Flavor is pretty good, but the ease of build makes them the go to dripper for me.

Clouds and vapor rarely match up well. My best flavor RDA is an APO. My Twisted Messes has great clouds - now both RDAs will give me clouds and taste but they are not equal measure. All my RDAs have dual claptons, BTW. Ease of build is important. The Velocity is nice to build on for sure. I have a Mutation x that is an easy build deck too but again - great clouds not as much flavor.

I cannot say that I think it is all down to build. Certainly the build helps but how the RDA is designed certainly influences both cloud and flavor. Some pure flavor RDAs I simply hate - too small and constricted. I don't like the Troll, the Sapor or the Freakshow (notice who makes them all). I'm not a big fan of some of the RDAs I see metioned here at all. Others I really like.

Right now I'm vaping on a Colonial with a Twisted Messes. Now thw Twisted has a long pole so it does not sit perfectly flush. I also put a 13th Heavens ring on the Twisted deck - gives me better flavor.

The 13 Heavens afc ring looks exactly the same as the Twisted one, how does it change the flavour?

They have minor differences. But they fit each other. It is a slightly less airy vape using the !3th on the twisted I find. Today I'm vaping on my BAAL - another RDA that has falvor and clouds when you adjust the airflow correctly (and it is my only clone). Course I'm hitting at at a low build on a hybrid mech too. So grain of salt here.

The smaller the chamber and the more direct the airflow on the coils, the better the flavor. Derringer is best flavor I have but is a warmer, spittier vape, sapor is next and then velocity....not that I don't have rdas with similar flavor as velocity, but with the adjustability of airflow and ease of build it puts near the top. Sapor is easy to build (slighty less than velocity) and is for a lazy vapor like me. Derringer a slight pain to build, and not as easy to drip.

Yup Derringer. It's where it's at for flavor. Combine with temp control, flavor heaven.
Honestly I'm still using a Giaia Clone for flavor testing. Stainless steel 316l warm flavor, constricted airflow. Full of warm flavor. Dry it out under scorch temp new flavor time. Derringer all the way though

Steam crave is a manufacturer with several attys, a little specificty is required. The rda looks interesting, but am a lazy vapor and prefer to drip through the tip, the anti spitback design would hinder this. I'm pretty content with the sapor, and haven't seen anything that sparks my interest lately. I might pick up a velocity mini, and would like to see a mini sapor get made.

The Steamcrave RDA, round or hexagonal model. Same chamber size inside so no dif there. One just won't roll off the table. Anybody actually have one and have an opinion?

Steam crave sort of missed the mark w rda (as airflow is too tight for great clouds) but flavor IS good.

I love my staged heating coil using alien and nichrome80 on my velocity

I'm pretty sure the design concept was a flavor chaser. Clouds aside, you like yours? Is it an easy build?

I picked up an Infinite CLT V3 the other day. It has great airflow & taste. It might actually be better than my velocity clone. If you can pick it up cheap, I would recommend it. I picked up an authentic at my vape shop for $9.99

I've got a couple of those, different versions. Cheap little atties but they work very nicely. I set mine up with a dual coil KA1 Clapton build and they have nice flavor and vapor production. Can't argue for the cost. Cheap insulators though, low wattage/medium resistance builds for sure.

I greatly enjoy my Velocity RDA it has always given me awesome flavor especially with Clapton coil builds I personally believe its the coil build you have on it that give it the flavor.

I'm in the minority on this but, I bought two velocity clones to test the design before getting an authentic; and, was not overly impressed. Not that its bad by any means, neither lasted long enough for me to be able to really make a judgement call for myself
Both (tobeco and no-name) the threads on both posts stripped out after the second build. Are the authentic any better?

Flavor wise I'm all about the aeolus, tugboat/slam cap and Petri rda.

I use the velocity on my 18350 mod. I have a petit gros that sits deep into the tube so top airflow is really nice. Also I can build a single coil vertical clapton build - so nice for 18350. So I guess it all depends on your build and usage. With a .78 clapton build I get decent flavor and decent cloud for what it is. For a stealth vape - this mech setup is the smallest on the market - it works really well.

Now I use a cklone. I have had no problems with the screws at all. The posts are milled into the deck. It is very easy to do upkeep with this atty - I am famous for switching parts in and out. So I cannot say it is a badly built atty at all. But that has been my experience.

Since everybody has had problems with the post screws stripping, I was very careful to find an Allen key that was actually the right size for the screws. Apparently even the authentics come with the wrong size Allen key. You can get replacement slotted post screws from the folks who handle the authentics.

The screws didn't strip out the threads inside the posts stripped out,.

Oh! Snap! That blows chunks. So far mine are holding up. While I love the ease of build it's not the best thing since spooled Nichrome. But a nice cheap cloned atty.

I guess the few builds yes, I'm trying to figure out how well made the authentic is and if its worth the investment

Folks who got the authentic had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM

Thank you, That's exactly what I was trying to figure out.
Appreciate it!

Analias, the one thing I've realized is that when you look for reviews on an item, you can always find good and bad, when you dont find much of either (aromamizer rda), its either too new, too obscure, or really middle of the road (not worth the effort to post anything good or bad).

It's been out long enough to not be the first two, so assume it's the latter.

Rda's are judged on flavor, clouds, airflow, ease of build, ease of use, quality and price. If the price is right, people can overlook other short comings.

I prefer warm vape, but most aren't looking for that. Flavor chasers build higher (no warmth) and cloud chasers like huge airflow (no warmth). To me, flavor generally accompanies warmth.

Many love the aromamizer rdta.

Rank what you are looking for in rda from high to low(flavor, clouds, ease of build, airflow, ease of use, quality, and price).....ok, maybe not quality, everyone wants quality.
