Use a URL... not a drag n drop. Since I don't have webhosting anymore, I use Tumblr; it works great!

It's kinda like the color I always tried to get, before I discovered Olia, which has an auburn shade that's very subtle, very much like my natural color when I was younger; more of a reddish brown than red.

That'll still put the VU logo on. To get an image without it, like an animated GIF, you have to use a URL.

But I don't go to web sites for my pix. Everything I post here comes off my hard drive. When I tell it to upload, it shows the gif in action, but once I tell it to post and VU overlays the logo, the animation quits.
Have you tried drag/drop?

Mine are on my hard drive too -- I created a free acct on tumblr, and any animated gifs, or pics I want to put in my blog, I upload to my tumblr acct, and then use the tumblr URL.

Yes, and there are certain places on VU where using a URL is the only option: blogs, signatures, profiles, and hmm... maybe PMs? though I'm not sure about that one, if I've ever done the drag/drop in PMs or needed to use a URL.

THIS is copy pasted.
Normally I just drag n drop, but I tried the copy/paste method for the last one I posted; it still adds the VU logo.
But that Tumblr site is fabulous. I tried the PhotoBucket, like Whiskey uses; I couldn't figger it out, but Tumblr is stupid-easy.
