So nothing's changed. That's me 25 years ago. I was a REALLY good agitator back then.
Well, that's what the guy who does the bite work with the dog was called. Nowadays they're called "helpers".So nothing's changed.

A real art form with alotta skill involved. You can ruin a very expensive animal in a few seconds if you do it wrong.
That was a 3000 dollar imported German Rottweiler named Rommel. He was about a year old there with a bite like an alligator. Excellent dog. Loved people and great with kids. Like a good working dog should be.
A dog with the courage and temperament to do aggression work is far safer trained than untrained.Could a dog like that live with untrained family dogs?
A dog with the courage and temperament to do aggression work is far safer trained than untrained.
A dog who is not completely stable and affectionate with people is wholly unsuited to man aggression work.
A dog's aggression toward people and aggression toward other dogs are two entirely different temperament traits. One will not determine the other at all.
A dog with a dog aggressive temperament, or aggression toward some other dogs, will be that way whether ever trained in personal protection, area protection or perpetrator apprehension or not. Again, the two have nothing to do with each other.
In other words and in short, a dog aggressive dog will be that way in any case. The innate temperament cannot be changed, but it can be trained for a fairly high level of human control.
Practically speaking though, I wouldn't trust a truly dog aggressive dog, free and unsupervised with other dogs no matter how much training to the contrary it's been given.
No, a dog like him, who wasn't dog aggressive, could be kept with other dogs. You can't see it in that shot, but there were like 6 other dogs and owners in the training yard that day. Young dogs gain confidence watching the others work. (huge topics in here)So a dog such as the one you pictured would be best as a solo dog or with other dogs that are as trained?

Wow that’s as bad as Liston vs. Ali, that dog obviously took a dive. The Boxing Commission better investigate this. This garbage is what gives the sport a bad name, sad, sad day.
I hope this piece of trash suffers a terrible accident causing him great pain and distress. He’s responsible for beating this dog at worst or ignoring the needs of an injured dog at best. Then when the jerkoff doesn’t have anything smaller than him to beat on he goes to your brothers house to threaten a child. I really hope karma pays this prick a visit very soon to show him what it’s like to be scared and injured with no hope of rescue. That dog would happily love this guy and give him another chance in a heartbeat, I would not. I would happily do my best to re-educate this man in the reasons we don’t inflict pain and suffering on any of gods creatures. I find it’s best to just show him, people learn best through experience.Yesterday my bro adopted a new puppy
I don't know what happened to this puppy b4 he ended up at my brothers, but he went through HELL b4 getting there !
This is kinda long, but short version of what happened.
My brother was on his way out to walk his other dog, looked around and saw this puppy curled up under the bush.
The pup didn't trust him at first, but after a few minutes he did. Bro, looked the pup over, saw he had a bad cut, bite, or something on his back leg. He took the pup to the vets. Later that day after the vet checked him out, it was some kind of cut an inch long and the leg was broken in THREE spots
Brother knew where the dog came from. But, she said the dog(s) where missing since Wednesday. The gal said she didn't want to pay the vet bill, don't know what the man said or if he was there when bro was talking with her. Well, since she didn't want to pay the vet bill, she signed over ownership to my bro . While my brother was gone, the man owner of the pup went to bros house and my nephew answered the door. The man threatened my nephew saying he would kill to get his pup back. THANKFULLY, the guy left. Bro and his son went to the sheriffs and made out a police report. The sheriff went to the guys house and he didn't admit that he said that, however did admit "I would do anything to get my pup back and if that meant going back to prison, I would" and was saying that the female pup was in my bro and nephews home. The female pup is still missing....presumably dead or badly injured . The male pup is still in the "hospital" getting treated, don't know how long he will be there. He is eating and drinking, so hopefully next week he will be going home to a good loving home.

Good job by your brother saving this pup and I hope he makes a full recovery and has a long healthy and happy life.
This is truly a sad but heart warming story, I hope the same as Rooster said for the that less than scum piece of previous owner. So glad this pup finally has a home where he is lovedYesterday my bro adopted a new puppy
