Just a quick update. I am now up to 11 rescues. I'm going through about 50lbs of pet foods a week. LOL it is so worth it though. They give back to me so much and having this small rescue sanctuary gives me a purpose. Cassie, the black pup in the video who had the gunshot wound is doing pretty well and she keeps up with the rest of the pack. Here is a short vid of a few of them playing in the snow from that recent snowstorm we had in Oklahoma. It is the second one on the page

Major my German Shepherd in the video, we found out has cancer now and per my Vet not a lot we can do at this point but keep him comfortable and pain free with medication. He's still doing pretty good. I read a thing that 50% of German Shepherds get cancer by the age of 10, Wow, 50%

There are some random pic's of my other rescues also. I just love them all. I have one more spay to do tomorrow and then they are all done.

So very true. I have a Kawaski mule. It is like a ATV and Major, my old guy loves to ride with me when I go around the property. Then we get out and walk for just a little bit due to his arthritis. I bought a natural hip and joint supplement, and it does seem to be helping. He does have prescription meds but it seems like I can give him less with him taking the supplements. I much rather give him those than pres. meds
