I tried and tried to get my son on those KF4s, since he likes big air and big clouds, but he says they're not airy enough! I really liked my old KFL+'s, but once i got spoiled on my Achilles attys, I couldn't even use the KFL+'s -- though I did get an authentic Svoemesto last year, so if my Achilles became unusable, I'd probably try to get back to my KFL+'s. For a tank type, they're probably the best I've used, and DAYUMM the threading on that authentic Svoemesto is like pure silk.

I had one dry hit during the night on the KF, just enough for me to still not have any confidence in it. In my mind, the vape isn't good enough for me to keep fooling around with it much longer. It's good, but certainly not better than a dozen other atties I have around here. Life's too short.

I don't mind fooling around with stuff a little bit, in order to learn. But I want to learn, remember, and move on to something else. No need to have to keep on and on fucking around with one thing. It shouldn't be that hard, and I'm not incompetent.

I am still putting stuff away. According to the boxes that are still sitting around, I have two mods and 13 atomizers to go. I have to admit that I do not know where all those atomizers are. I have most of them. Have run across a Kabuki that I don't have a box for, no idea what happened to that. I have not been very organized with my vape stuff. Can you tell?

Found my X-Baby today and am going to rehab it and see if I can do anything with the top so that it doesn't come open. Worst case I could just use it at home.

Charged some batteries and put a married set into my iStick TC 100W that I haven't used for a while. The TC on it sucks, but otherwise it's a nice mod. I like the firing bar on it. I decided to do that because I now have that Hurricane Jr that is 22mm. I am enjoying it a lot, and not all that many 22mm tanks around here these days, so it's a good opportunity to use the iStick.

Well, I successfully got the PWM in the defunct SXK Boxer squonk. Polarity is right, (duh), switch and pot work, 510 works... However, it looks like I go back inside tomorrow and work out how the hell to reroute the silicone wiring so the bloody battery-sled and case all fit proper. ah-well, one step at a time..

My spawn usually saves his "competition cloudz" for when he's hanging with his 2 best friends, both of whom also vape; he says when they're playing their Pathfinder game (a DnD thing apparently), they manage to fog up the entire glassed-in porch at his friend's house where they play. Sometimes he'll blow a big cloud at me just for shits and giggles -- *I* don't care, but I notice he doesn't ever do that to his dad. He doesn't vape much when we're all watching TV together, just because of the cloud problem, and how it can irritate his dad if he can't see the TV. He's also responsible with his clouds when he's driving -- when he first switched to max-VG (PG makes him cough), he could see right away that he had to open the window a bit, and lately he's been vaping his Vuse Alto a lot, since he really likes the Vuse's "rich tobacco" flavor, and since it seems to be about 50/50 PG/VG, it's not at all the same kind of cloud producer. I'm just glad he's found another way to be happy with vaping, just in case the damn FuckingDumbAsses decide to do something truly fascist about vaping.

I sprayed the whole thing. the decking and railings are actually different. decking = semi. rails and posts solid, solid because they had a bunch of old stain and a bunch of bare spots = it had to cover 100%.

she, the home owner, told me she would give me $75 to do the railings. I laughed out loud. she said she would do it herself. I said "it ain't that easy". she called back the next day, after trying to do it, and offered $150. some setup, 1/2hr. 2 hours spraying, 1/2hr cleanup.

Well, I have rebuilt this KF4 clone and it appears to be working. Sssshhhh! If I don't whisper that, it might hear me.

I took out the eensy coil that was in it, probably about 1.5mm, and made a 2.4mm 26ga Ni80 that comes out at about 1 ohm. Running it for very restricted DL at 25W.

Keep your fingers crossed for me. Flavor is super good.

Looks like a Kayfun Lite -- does it have just one external air hole, on the side of the base? The KF4's have 2. If it had a "hex key" adjustable thingie on the bottom, it would be a Kayfun Lite Plus -- that's the kind of KFs I have.

Similarly, I've given up on everything "dual coil" - including "comes with a blocker to make it single-coil".. Yeah, I've a old lappy case full of stuff to PIF or sell-off. I've got two Juggerknot mini's in the pipeline now, and 2 Engine Nano's I totally love. One is a clone due to "disappear", the other is discontinued, and there is nothing else I've seen to bother with except... The Aromamizer Lite - their new Single Coil - is said to be overall wonderful EXCEPT as MTL.

I did something cool (to me anyways) a little while ago. I had broken a Fire Luke 2 tank by dropping it and was really bummed. I ordered a new one on sale but it still bothered me. So I looked and saw I had an extra bubble glass in the box for it. I got all the broken glass out and put in the new one and it’s working great again!
I know that was a long winded way to say that I fixed my tank, but hey, it was very cool for me!

Ya, I probably won't bother with one. The new Aromamizer lite is great IF you get the new airflow ring they made for it. With that ring it is a true MTL, without it, nope. Great little tank though. I pif'd mine along with a V2 to someone here as I have more Steamcrave stuff than I will ever need. Their new mini glaz which is single coil will be landing soon. That's a very nice little guy

Well, I haven't personally tried vaping with a KF4, since it was clear to me from looking at it that it would be a lot airier than I can deal with. If you like an "open MtL" or "restricted DtL", then you might like the KF4 a lot. The internal airhole, under the coil, is a bit bigger than on earlier KFs, and it does have the 2 external airholes, rather than just one. Because of the internal airhole being right beneath the coil, the flavor in a KF4 should be pretty good; that's precisely the arrangement I require, bottom-airhole, just for that reason -- the Achilles I use are bottom-air, in fact their entire coil-deck architecture is VERY similar to a Kayfun, but with a little more room to work -- easier to get the leads around the screws.

One thing I've never been able to understand is why my Achilles have so much better flavor than Kayfuns. It was my understanding for quite a while that a small chamber, and a "dome-shaped" interior of that chamber, is why the Kayfuns offered such good flavor. Yet now that I'm so spoiled with my Achilles -- which has a MUCH bigger chamber, the full 22mm, and also rather tall, and the inside isn't dome-shaped at all -- I can't get much flavor from my old KFL+'s at all. It's puzzling.

Thanks. that is interesting. I really like the Squape I have. It's more DL but the flavor from that one is amazing. That's a 22mm and quite tall also. I don't need to try anymore Kayfun things. I have been seeing a lot of folks posting about the Dvarw DL ( I think that is what it's called) and that has peaked my interest.

Well, I went to clean the Serpent Elevate RTA and broke the damn bubble glass.... The base would not come unattached even after putting it in the freezer for a bit. Ended up using the small glass, re wicked and loaded up Open Road. Now I need to find the replacement bubble glass or this RTA will be designated for home use only. Anyone who knows where to get the replacement glass, preferably from known shops here in the USA, I'd appreciate the tip.

@The Cromwell I pulled my Kanger Kbox Mini Platinum out of the deep freeze this afternoon and put a Hussar RDTA (clone) on it.

I always forget from one time to the next what a nice little box this is. I love the brushed stainless.

It's gotta be at least four years old now, and it works just as well as it did the day I got it. Looks damn near as good as it did when new. One of the best $25 investments I've ever made.

Well, not today, but yesterday, I finally got my strawberry & cream below 22% flavoring -- currently it's at 21.85%.

My reductions are further apart these days, since I'm finally getting close to my ultimate goal of 20% flavoring. But since getting it to its current level, I estimate that within a year, I could be down to 20% -- possibly by the end of this year, though I cant say for sure. I make my small reductions when it starts tasting too sweet; this most recent reduction has been coming for some time, just not feeling too content with it, but finally I just couldn't stand the ever-more-sweet taste and had to bring it down.

I’m getting ready to try my new Fire Luke 2 tank and charging a bunch of cells since I let everything run down a bit. Thank God for backups of backups! So, I’m reading an old John Sanford novel and vaping my cujones off, as it were.

I got my new Cube X and am not thrilled with it. So it’ll be a vapocalypse stash mod. I’ll be buying another resin Cube kit, even though I just saw that Rip Trippers recommended it. And enjoying a nice thunderstorm now, really loud and close.

I was expecting the Cube X to be like the resin one I had, but it’s not really as comfortable to hold. It’s shiny glass too, which I don’t really like either. You might like it as an extra, rainy day kind of mod though. I may return it or just hang on to it as an extra, who knows? It just doesn’t feel as great as the original one I had, even though that’s an internal battery.

Ahh Ok different finish. I had a vapresso Revenger that I won from a VU challenge earlier this year. It was the same. Really smooth finish and was almost dropped a few times. I ended up giving it to a vape friend from the factory I work at a couple days a week. Great mod just too slick for my man hands. Rough, calloused. Lol
