I LERVE peanut butter, but I have to be really careful with it, it's so fatty; too much and I get the "gallbladder attack" pain from the damn gallstones. So mostly I just don't buy it, easier to not be tempted that way. I love salad, always have, but normally I go nuts with what my husband calls a "bucket o'salad".. the one tonight was a little bigger than a regular "dinner salad", but not huge, and I only put 2 chicken tenders in it (cut into 4 pieces each), plus my usual "shredded parmesan" and a little Lite Ranch dressing. And I strictly avoided the damn apple fritters that monster brought home, damn him.
And I'll be downsizing breakfast too, from 3 pieces of bacon to 2, and a smaller bowl of cereal; at least blueberries are a "superfood" so I can justify eating those, yummy as they are.
This post-menopause metabolism is the PITS. I used to lose 5-10 lbs just by skipping a meal! Had to eat like a longshoreman just to be shaped somewhat like a girl! Now it's all belly and "love handles" and "muffin tops".. sigh. At least I finally have a bustline.
I'm thinking I need to get back to the chain vaping I did when I first switched from smoking.
