Most conclusively because I've been vaping a Mercury coil in an Aspire Vivi Nova. Just vaped it again two days ago. But I've also read on various websites that the coils are interchangeable. I first ran across it while reviewing the list of devices a Hippovape RBA would fit, which also includes the Aspire Spryte (which uses the non-Nautilus BVC coil).
The BDC and (non-Nautilus) BVC Aspire coils were also interchangeable. I know that from years of personal use. The actual coil structures are different, but the coil housings fit the same devices.

It is a no name 810 with an o-ring. The only place I could find them is fasttech so I got a 5 pack of various colors. I may get another pack in case they are discontinued.

I'm waiting on delivery of three drip tips from Angel's. I'm so excited about these. One 510, kind of a vase shape in an abalone resin, and then two 810s, one a standard shape (variegated pastels) and one tapered (white, dark blue, yellow). The vase-shaped 510 is what appears to me to be the closest shape Rhonda carries to the tower shape of the Siam drip tips. That's what I was aiming for.
Probably will be the last order I place for DTs for a while. Sad, cause I really love 'em. I'm glad I got these when I did (as in, before the shit hit the fan).
Anyway, they're supposed to be delivered today!

What a relief you've used them yourself. I have always wanted to order from Rhonda. Such beautiful shapes and color choices. She does have a shape I really like but would like to order around 3 tips. Maybe if I'm more matchy, matchy with my mods I'll vape those rigs more. Please post a photo of your gorgeous tips!
I placed a $30 order for just 2 of the BVC nic salt coils at Discount Vapers last night and they don't have a valid email address I can cancel through. And, the phone number they quoted is for the Post Office! I sent an email to every possible admin, customer service, etc. email address you typically find on a website this morning. I hope one sticks. $30 is insane.

Oh, I wouldn't get any of the shapes that are shown -- I'll go with the Michelle, 3/4", skinnier, like the orange one I just got, because I know that the size of it against my lips is just right.

But I think you're right about the material; I'm strongly leaning to the Blue Topaz Water myself. I actually like the Precious Blue better, but I think the colors of the Blue Topaz are closer to the mod.
The thing is... the mod is actually a little closer to turquoise/further from "true blue" than is shown in the pic; when I put the pic of the mod beside the pic of the blue topaz, the match is just right. But, if I hold the actual mod up the screen, the Precious Blue is a better match. So I remain undecided.

You know the material and color actually match better. And I love the marbling. It has more black in it to break up the blue a bit.
And, the topaz tip on the left, fully rounded, accentuates the roundness of the book. To me at least.

Well, it doesn't have nearly as much of a "cushion" at the lip end, and I require something ultra-smooth with that little bit of cushion; really hate to feel edges against my lips.
But your comment was really helpful, because it delineated what I like about the Precious Blue, the contrasts; also, the Precious Blue seems to be a smidge more opaque than the Blue Topaz, along with, I *think*, a better color match... so, I just ordered the Precious Blue, Michelle, 3/4", skinnier. The "#3" design is closer to the acrylic Mings I so favor, but since I know that the Michelle with those particular options suits me perfectly, I decided to stick with it -- you know, "if it ain't broke..."
I also wrote her a comment about how perfect the orange one is, and my hope that she can make this one just like it. The blue sparkle one I got for free because she was trying out a new material, it's a 1", and it's a little too fat at the lip-end, and although it's not horrible, it just doesn't feel right to me. I really dislike driptips that are too fat; I don't huff my vape! I've always preferred slender driptips that are reminiscent of the size of a cigarette in my lips -- I may have gotten away from the taste of stinkweed, the need for throat-scorching TH (though I still like a little, and get it with my 86% PG!), and the extremely insistent addiction, but the other factors still need to be as close as possible to the "smoking experience" or I don't feel satisfied.
At some point I might still get the same options in the Blue Topaz Water, because I think that one would also go well with my blue-glitter-wrapped SX Mini that I hauled out of mothballs for the blue sparkle tip.

Sounds delish! I like menthol and I like chocolate with mint. I mix chocolate and fresh mint (almost like spearmint but more minty then spear) to get my Ande's candy. I put it in my Kanger SubVod Kit tube battery and mini-tank with .5Ω. I can't do honey - stings my throat. I'm getting excited about getting setup for MTL tobacco salts. I have a Mi One, 2 Nautilus Minis coming, a Davide Glassomizer and I may keep my gold Nautilus X. Oh, and I bought 2

Beginning to research which types of juices and flavors in DIY are prone to cracking plastic. The Revenant squonk mod I got has a plastic tube like section that holds the juice which is pumped up by pushing a button. I may be over thinking it, but I want to be careful as I don't think there is a replacement part available for it yet or know if there ever will be one.

It’s Black Honey Tobacco from ECX. It’s not really honey-ish, but it’s a bit sweet. With the Creme de Menthe and a few drops of Eucalyptus Mint, with Vanilla Swirl and VBIC, it’s a good creamy minty tobacco custard. I hadn’t realized it had so many flavors!
My suggestion for a name for that is Greenback. Or Alien Bigfoot. Or Julep Custard. Or Incredible Hulk.

I had an unexpected package in the mail today. When I'd made my mind up that I was going to get back to building and get away from pod mods, I'd placed an order with a vendor for 2 ijoy katana mods after referencing the various discount vape sites and saw they were on sale for something like $6 a piece. At the time, in my mind, I didn't want to get back into swapping batteries on a charger and whatnot so I figured I'd just pick up a couple of mods that had decent reviews and that I could get on the cheap and roll with them.
Well, a month later, my order from said vendor hadn't shipped and I'd already purchased a handful of 18650s, a few mods, etc and accepted that replacable battery mods are the way to go in the long term....which they are, don't get me wrong. So, I filed a chargeback with paypal, laid out the details, submitted the appropriate evidence and whatnot and, to my surprise, my order showed up today. Well, I cancelled my complaint with paypal and have been playing with the katanas. I have to say, I really like the feel in the hand and it makes me want to purchase an obs cube x even more because though the cube is a bit larger, the form factor is similar and I can use my own battery. I don't want to hype the katana because, yes, the fire button has some rattle and I don't know how good of quality the things are yet longevity wise but, the small form factor and the fact that thus far, they flat work, kind of makes me... well... like them... a lot. I rebuilt my serpent mini and threw it on the stainless katana and it looks nice, works well, fits in my pocket nicely, etc.
I do not think, by any stretch of the imagination, they will unseat my swag v1 for an edc pocket mod because I do like the form factor of the swag more, but I'm going to try carrying one of the katanas tomorrow and see how it works out.

It was 83 and sunny in west tennessee today. I put all books to the side, put my desk phone on busy, and went down to the shop to give a hand mowing and weedeating all day. It was glorious and I plan to do the same tomorrow.

I am in east central KY myself.
I had an OBS Cube X, since I’ve been using the regular Cube mod for a year now.
If you want a good beater mod, the resin or even the metal Cube mods are good. The Cube X, I wasn’t happy with, even though you can swap the batteries. The regular Cube has a good hand feel, the Cube X felt slippery and I actually dropped it tank first into a hot cup of coffee.
But guys have bigger hands, so you might like it. OBS is a good mod company, afaik. @Mr. Meowgi also bought a Cube X and sold it. Maybe he’ll chime in,

Companies have abandoned the RBA head concept right around the time mesh was getting popular. Smoant said the hell with this, let's give em what they want and made the Ladon tank. That does look very cool, I'm thinking my son would really like it! Currently he's still enthralled with the Geekvape Aero Mesh, but I keep telling him that he needs to keep a foot in the rebuildable atty camp, because of all this vapocalypse bullshit. You know I'm a big RBA fan for subohm tanks. I've always said if someone makes a new one, I'll get it. The cool thing is the RBA seems to be INCLUDED. Seems like a wayback concept these days but I really dig it.

And so my closing of the vendor windows continues. I didn't go crazy. I'm having one hell of a problem checking out of VapeNW. I get to checkout, they verify my age, make sure I'm human and has me sign in again only to find that I think I have a popup blocker on or something. I keep my computer pretty virus free, tracker free, etc. I can't figure it out. I hope they aren't sold out of something until I can get in. I sent Nw and VaporFi nasty emails. Coupon codes aren't working either. Uhhhhhggg!
I did manage to buy a 70W Sig, a 75W Sig and a free Koopor Plus for free from shawn.hoefer $27.95 shipped. I'm happy to have helped him out. Wish I could have done more for him.

Allowed myself a very small order from 3FVape, since they finally had a Dvarw DL clone in stock. Got that and a couple of drip tips, just enough to get the free shipping.
Put a new coil in the Juggerknot Mini. Had to, it was spitting and popping and it finally just pissed me off. From what I read, even under ideal circumstances this tank has a tendency to oversaturate when it's filled (and in my experience, when it sits unused for a while). I may have to wick it one more time and stuff it really full of cotton if this keeps up. I wrapped a SS 26/32 plus 26 ga staged coil for it, which is a type I've made and used many times, so at least if it continues to pop and spit, I know it isn't the coil.

I cleaned my cache in both Firefox and Chrome. I'm not really using Chrome anymore since they've decided they're going to get any information they want from you without your permission. I quite like Firefox. Lots of protections.
Anywho, still didn't work after that in either browser. In fact, VapeNW told me again that I didn't have an account when I hit lost password.

I was just able to order the Blitz Intrepid I've wanted from VapeNW, no problems with the site. It didn't even do the normal age verification. I wonder if that means they were having trouble with it and took it down?

I quit using chrome a couple of years ago because of issues with a few random sites I frequent for work. Never had a problem until an update came through. I switched to Firefox also and use duckduckgo for my search engine and the duckduckgo browser on my phone. Haven't had any problems out of them.

Today (well the other day but it was dry enough today) painted the metal ext for the Plus V2. I still need to do another coat, then seal it and then sand out the edges for a smoother look. Something to do at least
Just an update....
Carrying the katana lasted about an hour yesterday until I went to the office and grabbed my swag. I still like the katana and the form factor but it won't replace my swag and just that factor in combination of the feedback on the obs cube x, I don't think I'll pick up a cube x. For a pocket setup, the kayfun on the swag is just...right, I guess. Also, I thought I'd dethroned my kayfun with the serpent mini but that has proven untrue. I've carried the kayfun on the swag in my pocket without even thinking about it for most of the week. That's fine. I like the setup and it works great. I like the serpent mini too and have it on one of the katanas at the moment and have been using it a lot after mowing today but it's just not a good pocket rig for me.
Also, after enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch this morning and hauling off our trash for the week, I went ahead and mowed. I've come to the realization I'm going to have to purchase a new mower this year because my old riding mower is on it's last legs. It runs great so I may use it for a backup but it is absolutely falling apart. Point of fact, last year I had to weld up new steering for it because of bending and buckling through years of abuse and now part of the deck quite literally broke in half. I think I've reached the point of being done patching it together so I put a bungee on it to the body of the mower to hold it up and kept on mowing. I've used it on my last 2 properties as my father pulled it out from under someone's pool deck 6 years ago and got it running to give me as a gift when I bought my first house. That's a heck of a gift when you're just starting out with home ownership. I feel like it's paid for itself considering it was initially free and I've got maybe $2-300 in repairs over the years...especially since at my first place, the yard was 2.5 acres, the next was an acre, and I currently use it to finish cut roughly 3 acres around the house at our farm. I think the wife and I are going to keep an eye out for a used commercial zero turn. I had a thought of just picking up a finish cutter for our tractor, but with the lay of the land, it just wouldn't work well. I didn't want to spend money on a mower right now, but I suppose it is what it is.

I like the serpent mini too and have it on one of the katanas at the moment and have been using it a lot after mowing today but it's just not a good pocket rig for me.
Also, after enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch this morning and hauling off our trash for the week, I went ahead and mowed. I've come to the realization I'm going to have to purchase a new mower this year because my old riding mower is on it's last legs. It runs great so I may use it for a backup but it is absolutely falling apart. Point of fact, last year I had to weld up new steering for it because of bending and buckling through years of abuse and now part of the deck quite literally broke in half. I think I've reached the point of being done patching it together so I put a bungee on it to the body of the mower to hold it up and kept on mowing. I've used it on my last 2 properties as my father pulled it out from under someone's pool deck 6 years ago and got it running to give me as a gift when I bought my first house. That's a heck of a gift when you're just starting out with home ownership. I feel like it's paid for itself considering it was initially free and I've got maybe $2-300 in repairs over the years...especially since at my first place, the yard was 2.5 acres, the next was an acre, and I currently use it to finish cut roughly 3 acres around the house at our farm. I think the wife and I are going to keep an eye out for a used commercial zero turn. I had a thought of just picking up a finish cutter for our tractor, but with the lay of the land, it just wouldn't work well. I didn't want to spend money on a mower right now, but I suppose it is what it is.
