Went into the galley, opened a cabinet door. What did I spy? Vanilla extract. So I got a fresh 10 ml bottle, .5 ml of vanilla into the bottle, 1 ml of sweet cream, another 1 ml of peppermint. Told my wife "stole half a milliliter of your 'nilla." She was devastated and says, "so?'

Think the vanilla will help even out the sweet cream. That will let the peppermint pucker more. So far it's going yummy. Yes, I've looked up a few different peppermint patty recipes. No, I don't have all the flavors required. I don't need/want chocolate. That's not the taste I'm after. I want the minty cream on the inside.

Almost have it too (in my opinion) without needing all the required flavors. Trying to keep it simple to avoid forgetting it. Well, played with some wire a bit earlier too. Not sure exactly what chores need doing today. I'm pretty well caught up aside from taking out garbage after while.

Reckon I'll figure something to do.

Ethyl vanillin along with the sweet cream and peppermint I think would put you close to where you want to be.

My personal preference would be tfa vanilla swirl and butter plus vanillin and peppermint, but that's just me. :)

And frankly, a small amount of white chocolate, even though you don't want the chocolate flavor, would probably give you the rich mouth feel of a butter mint plus some extra sweetness, without an in your face chocolate taste.

violet scented oranges
lime infused shortbread

"Violet scented oranges" made me lose my breath for a second. What a concept, wow! Sounds fabulous!

I am trying Frankenbru, it's day 3 now, I think the anise has faded a little too much for me, so next mix I might bump it up a little. It's still quite good, though. If I didn't know which flavors were in it, I think I would have a hard time guessing.

Wish someone else who likes spice vapes would try this one.

It smells almost like spicy roses. I just love it. Need to change the name.

ETA:. Mix is re-christened Bride of Frankenbru.

Well it was McCormick's Vanilla which has the the alcohol in it. :) I think it hit what I was looking for well enough added to TFA's sweet cream and peppermint II.

As a bonus I finally nailed down how to do a parallel core Clapton coil by hand. Got my mixed up juice on a 2x26 awg core wrapped with 36 awg Kanthal A1 and coiled it over a 3.5 mm ID 5 times. I'm running around .45 ohms which is roughly 15 watts or 2.20 amps per pulse/draw.

Got the Muji cotton wick trimmed so either end just does brush right over top of the deck bottom. There might be about a .25 mm gap from the tips of cotton to deck bottom.

For the moment I'm using wide open air flow on the Gorge RDA. I might crank it down to barely open later on for a nice restricted direct lung draw. Vaping wise I think I'm doing alright.

Later on when the wife gets in my plan is mac-n-cheese & smoked sausage hot dogs for supper. Glad it is the instant mack-n-cheese because I'm not sure I'd have patience enough to do up dough, work out the noodle shells, and then prepare a four cheese sauce. Might not be the most extraordinary, or even healthiest meal but for the time it is what we have and can eat. I think she'll like it. :)

Now, I must ask myself if I feel like playing Jubal Harshaw. I better go track down a good egg, share some water.

Well now, June 26 2019 around 21:00 EST and I got 10 mL bottle that had around 8 to 8.5 mL of unflavored 18 mg/mL VG base. Vapemail today brought me a small order from Bull City. All TFA, Bavarian cream, Sweet cream, Peppermint. Into that 8 mL bottle of base went 11 drops of Sweet cream and 11 drops of Peppermint. :) Also picked a small handful of plastic pipettes. Left the downstairs, and up here now, not to go down again tonight. Ain't that always the way, forget a head if not glued on. :D

Nope, I don't do any serious diy juice mixing ... at least not yet. I just do simple shake-n-vape mixes for myself. Though, I'm starting to understand the draw to doing diy juice mixing. Want to work on getting a nice sweet creamy tasting peppermint, like in peppermint patties for now. Not sure yet what I got in mind for the Bavarian but I'm sure it'll find its way into something. :)

I'm a bit late here, but oh well. Yeah there are a good number of reasons why people prefer going pure DIY. I like being able to vape what I want when I want, with how drastically my tastes change a day, DIY is the only way I can do that. Being cheaper in the long run is a nice perk too :D

Bavarian cream goes great with dessert style flavors, with it being a "heavier" cream and what not. Little bit of that, some FA fresh or TFA dairy, touch of a vanilla you like and a tiny bit of marzipan, gives you a decent vanilla cream base. I like to use it with a smidge of FA butter, some Cap new york cheesecake and a bit of INW biscuit. Works good with fruit too, little bit of the vanilla cream base, little INW shisha strawberry, a touch of FA peach, and it's pretty damn tasty.

I recall seeing a peppermint patty recipe on here a while back, that might be something to look into to give you a bit of an idea? If you get into the full DIY thing, I'd love to try what you make.

As for what I'm vaping right now, Jacked Tea, just finished the last bit of a bottle of a cream soda I'm working on.

Jacked Tea

Is that about what it sounds like tea with Jack Daniels? :) If so I can imagine it tastes pretty good.

Put the Bavarian & sweet cream together just under the peppermint. My otherwise clear juice is orange tinted now. *chuckles* I think it went radioactive. I used .5 ml of each of the creams and 1 ml of the peppermint per a 10 ml bottle. So, I figure this makes flavoring a rough 20%.

To me the heavier Bavarian helps marry up the sweet cream with the twang of the peppermint a little better. Not sure what I'm calling the mixture. I know it probably tastes atrocious to others until it steps out. I like the shake n vape though for reasons you mention. "Ha, let's change this or add that."

I need to get some more 250ml bottles if I'm going to go too much further toward falling into the DIY. *grins* Need to make bigger batches. Someone and I won't name @MyMagicMist names, keeps vaping up product. *chuckles*
