What do you mean "almost?" It looked to me like it's a done deal for July 1, based on the e-mail that MFS sent out the other day. Is that incorrect?

Ban on flavors except for tobacco and unflavored on May 18, then ban of all e-liquid on July 1.

Yes you are correct on the NY Flavor Ban-
It passed and it is a done deal ,yes those dates are correct. For some reason people confuse NY and the FDA ban dates- NY State passed it's own ban which the FDA ruling on extending their date has no baring on . Maybe people think the FDA ruling supersedes the NY flavor ban- it doesn't!
States can and have passed their own laws on vaping and Bans of flavored eliquids or gear or both.

I didn’t mean the ban, I meant he pushed it through in a pretty sneaky way. Reading it now, I wonder why I used the word “almost”, too.

The full eliquid ban is really bad. I had assumed incorrectly that it would be the same one we almost had after the “vaping illness”. Nope, it’s way worse. :smh:

That’s the crappy part. Even if Deeming gets postponed again, any state can pass a ban.
Cuomo isn’t even educated about vaping. So wrong on so many levels.

Yes, what horrible timing too- you'd think Cuomo would be to busy with the Covid-19 crisis to worry about vaping.
I feel sorry for people that want to try vaping to quit smoking- they will not have that chance in NY.
For the rest of us- luckily we are here at the forum, we have been informed and saw the writing on the wall and have been able to stock up and prepare for the worst.

Stores are done, most have closed up near me already. but when it comes to buying online. If you know the right sites or people you can always get no matter what

I know, we’re the hardest hit state right now, and he just pushed that ban through.

On one level, I know I’m prepared. I bought enough stuff last ban. But it’s the thought of being cut off that worries me. I feel like maybe I should’ve bought more juice.

Legal or not either way it will not affect my continued vaping. There is always a way to get the things you need despite the laws dictated by the uneducated.

besides wanting to murder my wife & kids (just joking) all things are good. I work for an essential business so I'm still working 5 days a week. My wife has to deal with her business & teaching my kids. LI is crazy, shop rites are still nuts, wearing a mask & gloves are the new normal, forget vaping in public. people do a double take if you're not wearing protective gear now.

Hopefully there will be summer camp for these poor kids and hopefully school will start back up in september. fingers are crossed for everyone i bet.
How is everything for you guys?

It’s quiet in my neighborhood. I took a cab to the main shopping area here, and it was dead. But there was a street vendor guy in his cart selling halal chicken and rice and felafel. :huh:

Queens has a ton of cases, so everyone’s hiding inside. I think Cuomo is planning on reopening soon, but it may be a bit too soon imho. I’ve never liked him, especially now with his gestapo ban.

"Junk juice" in two mods wintergreen sweet cream in one, hm peppermint sweet cream in another, unflavored in the vindicator kit. And yep, i rotate out. Ha ha! the joy of five hands! :crazy::giggle:
