So saying now imren would not be good for the long life correct as in loosing battery voltage fast right?
I've only seen these so called "Sony killers" on the AtoZ website as in posted pics..never tried them myself but they advertise is like getting the power of two Sony batts in one batt called the "Keep power" AKA the Sony killer..lol

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking but according to specs the keep power (aka Sony killer) 4200 mAh batt will last longer on one charge for the same build using say a 3500 mAh batt...note that my brother-in-law ordered these high powered black keep power batts for his 26650 BN mech modSo saying now imren would not be good for the long life correct as in loosing battery voltage fast right?
I've read about numerous different batteries that are supposedly the infamous 'Sony Killer'..
most of the posts I see never have any proof to back up these claims..it's usually 'I heard these were better' or 'the random guy i met outside the vape shop exclusively uses these ones for all his mods and they last WAY longer' ..
It seems like this is a way for places to charge much more for these batteries claiming they are just as good or better than the Sony's.. I have heard of vape shops selling some of these individually for 25-30$. I'm all for spending money on a decent battery, but only if it lives up to the hype and performs like it should.. especially with so many people sub-ohming.. safety should be a key factor.
So lets put all of this hoop-lah to rest shall we?
Name the battery you think stands up to the Sony's, and back up your claims the best way you can.
Ready.. Set.. Debate!

KeepPower is a manufacturer of chargers and other electronics. Their batteries are rewraps. The way they describe it is: The company have established strategic relationship with international lithium battery suppliers such as Sanyo, Sony, Panasonic, LG Chem, Samsung SDI, Skme, Moli, BAK, Lishen, ATL, HYB, etc..
I haven't dug into it and don't know if the info is readily available but it would be interesting to know what cell is inside. Some rewrappers are up front about what cell is used. Xtar and Orbtronic come to mind.[/QUOTE

He says the battery is way better than any Sony he has ever tried to date..more constant voltage gives a thicker vape with the same build using the Sony, and he says the batt lasts a long time on one charge vaping almost all day non stop..I would try them myself but they are too long at 67mm to fit my BFM..
That's all the info I have on them at this time...

Can't say on quality 18650's as I gave away all my 18650 mods when the 26650 batt came out and haven't looked back...Sorry ! But I'm sure somebody on this forum can recommend good 18650 batt's for you..Smacksy
sorry I was in a hurry and did not check if I would have written correctly.
I'll rearrange.
I am looking for some test or people that have tried the imren 18650 cells. In Thailand it is really hard to get good qualities and also for sonys and Samsung and the lg s. All are hard to get even tho we are not living far from them. I am helping out my local b&m with research in a language that is not his. Also I had bought the last sets of sonys. He recently had some yellow awt18650 but they ran out in 2 weeks. Now I would like to know bit more of the imren18650 if they are in a quality to use in mechanics for a safe use. Even tho in Thailand we do care about the safety there is on these things.
Thank you.
Yeah, I heard they're a re-wrap of LGs. Is that correct?Just Be Cautious!!! ALL Battery Companies Lie about Amperage!!! SONY / MNKE's are the BEST!!! But Like My Purple Efest 35A Batteries (Even though they are re-wraps) is NOT 35A, it's actually @30A... Just saying BE SAFE, NOT Sorry
Where did you find them? What about Subohmcell 18650 batteries
Subohmcell 18650 35amp 2800 mAh Battery this is from kidney puncher review!!!
Sony VTC5 killer
Posted by Rick B. on 24th Sep 2014
I got tierd of not being able to find any vtc5 's in stock at my trusted online vape shops and after seeing how these rated in kidney puncher's battery comparison I gave them a try and I'am so glad I did These blow my vtc5 's out of the water they hit harder and can handle a lower ohm coil then my sony's coils.
With that being said please be safe people and use your ohms law when sub-ohming.
Yeah, I heard they're a re-wrap of LGs. Is that correct?
I can get the Sony killers subohmcell for 15 shipped so if anyone want them you can email at [email protected] no moq required do I need admin approval for this not sure but I'm sure I will be notified sorry in advance

I've seen those Subohmcell's! It drives me NUTS lol when I hear people say, "oh its a sony killer & etc blah blah blah".... Sony VTC batteries have a 30A Continuous & 150A Pulse (1-2 sec)....Samsung INR18650 20/25R have 20-22A Continuous & 100A Pulse (1-2 sec)...I see those Subohmcells are 35A Continuous, but what are they "pulse"???? """IF""" they are above 150A Pulse, then they are a "Sony Killer"....
It is the title of the thread. Now, that's funny. You lot? There have been about two posts in the thread suggesting anything was a killer. Now that's funny.
Ever notice in this hobby, the anything new that comes along is "killing" something else? As of yesterday I now own 15 VTC5's....their imminent death is of no concern lol. Subohm cells? You lot truly hilariate me.

My response was in reference to more than just the thread. For example, Orchid is a Kayfun killer, etc.

That was pretty obvious. You lost me with "You lot". Sounded pretty superior. Cultural thing perhaps. My response was in reference to more than just the thread. For example, Orchid is a Kayfun killer, etc.

Thank youI know of at least 3 companies that re-wrap sony vtc4s. orbtronic, efest, and EH.
vtc4 (orbtronic) http://www.rtdvapor.com/xtar-high-drain-18650-2100mah-30a-sony-vtc4-cell/
vtc4 (efest) http://www.rtdvapor.com/efest-imr-18650-2100mah-30a-purple/
vtc4 (EH, now called Efan) http://www.hoosierecig.com/-EFAN-60A-2100mAh-IMR-18650-battery_p_847.html

Those here and IRL know me to be the humble, innocuous wee minister that I am. I enjoy a good natured go at people on the odd occasion. I tend to get a lot of "it's OK, he's from Scotland, they like to tease". Think nothing if it mate.

My Sig 100 will fire for 5 seconds at or below 50%, and 100 watts, which is a pretty decent hit. I have the 2 version, maybe that was one of the upgrades, but I am just guessing.I never really paid close attention to battery characteristics until I vaped at 100w/.5ohm and noticed on my Siggy 100w that when the battery is at 57%, it will not fire the atty due to there not being sufficient amperage. Note that I am using two Sony vtc5 in that device.
My friend used one and said he threw it out of the window after 2 days.I heard of a shop selling the VAMPED batteries and selling each one for 25$ .. saying they are better than the Sony's ..
Samsung 25ROK, so what are the ones to buy , i need two 18650's and looking for 2500mAh or better . Whats the consensus folks .
