Anyone know what the nut is in TFA's Banana Nut bread? Walnut, perhaps? Is there added cinnamon or other spice? How about caramel--does anyone taste that in there?

Aint vanilla extracts bad?

happy vaping
I heard that too, but havent found any evidence or testing to support that claim.
Personally, I wouldnt worry about it.

Edit: vaping store bought vanilla extract would be much much worse for you than vaping vanillin.

I've been trying it at different strengths, and can't seem to get a decent taste out of it. What percentage of flavor are you guys using?

I've been using Banana Nut Bread in a recipe at 8%, along with some other things.
all TFA
3% Graham Cracker Clear
2% Cinnamon Danish
2% Brown Sugar
1% Marshmallow

Stand alone was kinda boring at 10% and seemed to be lacking.

Adding a small amount (0.25-0.5%) of FA Nut Mix, or Walnut, or Hazelnut might be interesting too.
Can also add 1-3 drops of TFA Ripe Banana if you want that part stronger...

I only messed with TFA Banana Nut Bread a little. I didn't get much banana flavor, mostly a nutty/AP flavor. Then again I haven't had a lot of luck with Banana flavors period. They mostly have a fake/candy type of flavor to me. Tastes vary, YMMV, along with any other applicable cliche :D

Cheers,
Steve

I loathe that fake banana flavor--the candied one. It reminds me of the stuff I used to use to lubricate my bicycle chain when I was a kid. For this reason, I never use Banana Ripe. FA banana is a great flavor, but it's so faint and easily overwhelmed, you have to be really careful what you mix it with. Banana Cream (tfa) is totally different. I'm still experimenting, but I've used it successfully to up the banana-quotient in recipes with BNB. Also, some kind of caramel + cinnamon goes well into the mix to give the impression of banana bread. All these are tfa except where noted otherwise. I leave this at least a few days before vaping it. It's good. Definitely banana.

5% Banana Nut Bread
4% Banana Cream
1% Cinnamon Danish Swirl
1% fa Caramel
2% Vanilla Swirl
1% Sweet Cream
optional:
0.5% AP
0.25% fa walnut

Yup, your right, I forgot all about TFA Banana Cream, good flavor...

Looks to be a good recipe too, thanks:D.

Hi ho! The order of posts got messed up I guess but I meant to respond to Heabob's post--just above your banana bread recipe. But I hope that works out well too. :) It looks like a sure thing.
