Yeah 1984The one from the 80s??
We did a Double Feature tonight~!
Absolutely fabulous although it was kind of weird since it happened not far from here on the South Shore.
Good Crime Action Drama flick and some great filming in NYC
That was a very creepy case. The movie looks good!
What was really creepy was remembering how it was in the paper every day and having the Causeway Closed because of the search for the bodies.
I’ve never been out that way, but it was creepy anyway. I watched something about it on City Confidential (I think) a few years ago on YT. Very messed up case.
Shaft (2019) - 5 / 10
Plenty of comedy and some interesting moments mainly thanks to Jackson putting in a very entertaining performance as Shaft.
The culture and generation gap thing doesn’t always work, ending up embarrassing rather than relevant, but there’s plenty of Shaft’s signature style and attitude on display. The story isn’t anything special, the action scenes appear almost incoherently, the lead character is irritating rather than funny, and the “damsel in distress” finale is awful.
So, I've heard that a lot of people didn't really care for Rocketman. It was on, so we decided to go ahead and watch it. We both liked it quite a bit more than we expected to. Not sure what it was that people didn't like about it, or maybe it was being compared to Bohemian Rhapsody, since they came out close-ish to each other. Don't know. We liked it.
I loved it, and I'm not a cars, or racing person. I do have a weird thing for sports movies, though. I love 'em, not sure where that comes from.GREAT movie ! though i can those not into cars or racing can think it meh.

Ozark is excellent! Especially when that hillbilly lady blew the dealers head off. WOW!Not a movie, and I may be behind times, but found season 3 of Ozark on Netflix a couple days ago.
