well folks I think I've worn out my welcome on the VU, for awhile anyway..that said Im back on the other forum again and need to get my post count up at least over a 1,000..

Very gloomy here, think we're about to get a shower... but still pretty warm; I just walked outside in short sleeves. :D But we really can't imagine we're completely out of the woods till after Mar 25, the traditional "date of last frost" around here.

Some really long, steep hills where I live, but the pavement is fresh and in great smooth condition. I'm on my bike at an intersection and this kid of about 15 or 16 on a skateboard comes flying down the hill with no helmet or protective gear, holding a smart phone like a hamburger out in front of him to record all his skill, bravery and glory.

Then the dope wipes out, serving up a long steaming smear of instant road pizza.

He got up and walked away, barely, but I bet he'll be feeling that while not posting that video on his YouTube channel tonight. Or maybe he will post it and become a celebrity. I understand some people pay to be entertained by those who stick firecrackers up their ass...I mean I liked Evil Knievel as a kid but this idiot could have caused a much worse accident to someone else. Maybe he'll learn, but he kinda looked like the type to have already vented quite a few batteries.

I'm so pissed. The mailman just went by, and I'm all excited, I mean, the tracking page CLEARLY says "OUT FOR DELIVERY." But it's not on his truck. Thank goodness my husband is here, had a VA appt this morning, so he's gonna catch him on his way down the hill to get a number I can call to find out WHY THE HELL IT'S NOT ON THE TRUCK WHEN IT CLEARLY SAYS OUT FOR DELIVERY!

the phone while driving or operating any means of locomotion has gotta be my absolute biggest pet peve.

So my new 4 bay charger was in my city in CA on saturday and out for delivery, but I have stuff delivered to work so no saturday deliveries. Somehow it was successfully delivered in Callaway, Maryland that same day...

If I were a betting man, I'd say it'll probably arrive today along with a handful of other goodies, just funny to see it delivered literally across the country from where it supposedly "went out for delivery".
