OOOOOO thanks, that Lucifer show looked like it was going to be good but I forgot about it before it started airing (I don't have TV just internet, so I don't see many commercialsI';m almost outta here too, for 4 hrs of TV.... Gotham, Scorpion, Blindspot, then watch the DVR of Lucifer.

DVR is definitely my preferred way to watch anything; it's just like watching in the old days on VHS -- skipping thru the annoying commercials! With OnDemand and some www-TV sites, you can't skip 'em. The only web TV I've found that doesn't have commercials is TNT. I wish the OnDemand and www geniuses would figure out that FORCING people to watch commercials does not endear those products to us -- I freaking LOVE Home Depot, but being forced to watch their commercials makes me want to go to Lowes instead!
If it wasn't for our DVR, we'd have to watch Lucifer online or OnDemand, because we've watched Scorpion since it started. But it would really be great if they could space some of the shows on diff nights -- 8pm slot is open on Tues and Wed; 10pm slot is open on Wed and Fri; and since I went on strike from watching Hawaii5-0 because they're idiots, 9pm is open on Friday too.
We were watching Blindspot last night; this Jane Doe, FEMALE, in handcuffs, escorted by THREE FBI agents, manages to get free, kick the shit out of 2 of them and steal the gun from one, then shoot the 3rd one dead -- yet TWO 5-0 agents, one of them a former SEAL, lets their arch-villain get away... THREE DIFFERENT TIMES!!! I'm just not watching that shit anymore. Plus the 18 month jail sentence for a fucking SELF-DEFENSE killing? Nah, 5-0 has lost me, I refuse to watch such utter stupidity. (if real cops were that stupid and inept, no one would EVER go to prison.)

Why are halibut and scallops so expensive and hard to find? Because Gordon Ramsey and his incompetent Hell's Kitchen chefs buy them all and waste them. I'm sure of it.

I was just thinking that listening to the radio the other day. How much more I would like something if their commercial was simply "hey we're XXXX, we're keeping it short, we're still here, bye" 5s commercial and done.
Anyways, I usually use couchtuner and putlocker if something isn't on netflix. Those other TV websites I generally ignore, although IIRC the BBC one wasn't bad.
And, yeah, sounds like a lot of lazy writing. It does make shows that have more realistic plots and situations all that much better though.

I've never even heard of couchtuner and putlocker; we had NetFlix for a while but money got tight, had to let it go; might be time to re-subscribe, though we need to check out Hulu Plus first, I think. I usually just go to whatever network's website and watch shows there; TNT doesn't make you watch their lame commercials!

Hulu is good for lots of network and cable shows that are available to stream almost right after they air. You do get some commercials but not as many as you would. And I think the time-travel story by King about JFK is on there...11.22.63. It's pretty good as the details unfold. Huly is getting more movies and more original programming it seems. The servers and streaming is pretty reliable through the Roku.

Well, the USPS managed to put my BCV pkg in the right basket this time, so I finally got my flavors. Naturally they bring it on payday when I'm gonna be too busy for mixing, instead of yesterday when I had nothing much to do.
