I'm wondering if it's a clone. I got it from MVS. The drip tip on it removable, the black one isn't. And the etching on the chimney is different. It also doesn't screw together as nicely as the black one. I rewicked it today and so far it's behaving but it's gonna give me grief when I try to refill it, I just know it!!

There were 2 different batches, the different print/etching is what marks that, you should have a cursive griffin and a griffin logo on the chimney and I believe GeekVape on the top fill portion.

As for removeable drip tip, it should be, but, it's a VERY tight fit. It should have the large bore tip then an adapter (hidden in the extra tools and stuff under the padding in the package). Both best to lube up with a little juice before sticking it in there, like with all o-rings.

Also try closing juice flow and the airflow when refilling, might help, better the seal the better the chances it doesn't go bad on you.

This forum is so awesome. I'm trying to buy another pair of batteries, but ilumn is backordered on the 25Rs AND the 30Qs.... so I came back here and went to the Battery subforum, and found the link to liion.com, who give you a free battery box with every pair of batteries, AND they have the LG HE2's for a really good price, and are NOT backordered. Awesome. :)

Andria
Liion is the very best there is, Jon with Liion is all over the VU.

Well, I am plumb tickled, as we say down here; pair of batteries, free battery box, and shipping.. $11.59. Can't beat it with a STICK! And, I got to pay with Paypal, which is always my preference.

I also ordered my $19.99 black iPV Mini today, from angelCigs. :) :) :) (that's why I wanted another pair of batteries)

Ugh. My Kayfun 4 is acting all PMS today. Never had an issue with it in over a year. Thinking my wicks are too long but too lazy to check ATM.

Speaking of lazy, anyone bored and wanna cook dinner for me?

Is your brother-in-law a 'spaghetti-bender,' like I am? I've got seven letters in my surname, three syllables, and - you guessed it - the last letter in my surname is, indeed, a vowel :).

Tomorrow, I get to see my surgeon, so my life can return to normal (whatever that is), for a brief time...

Then, we'll schedule kidney number two... and, another week of abject misery.

I am, however, a tough nut. I will survive. When we went to vote today, it was already approaching 80 degrees F.

These El Niño weather patterns have been a PITA. Yet, the folks out west are getting some much-needed moisture. The bougainvilleas will look wonderful over there, this year.

Well, it's official - the contracts for our home and property sale will be signed tomorrow, and earnest money has been received by our realtor. It happened in twenty-two days!

The realtor is thrilled, because real estate sales here, and nationwide - are still very sluggish, and in some areas - at a standstill, for the last seven-plus years.

I'm nervous as hell. It seems like everything's happening a little too fast. Okay, Corner people - Liz left for her meeting, and now my anxiety is STRATOSPHERIC.

Any advice will gladly be accepted. Gratefully. Whew!

LW & Liz :)

We bought a house in 2011.... went from contract signing to closing in 29 days. :) :) :)

So the weather in Hell wasn't to bad today lol. Work sucked but on the bright side (If there is one ) the kid made it to the rehab in NJ. Now we only have to hope he doesn't end up in some girls room and gets thrown out or ends up in a fight and gets thrown out or leaves or anything else lol (really not funny) I need to be restored to temporary sanity. (step 2 lol)

Ok...I get this private message that includes several other members regarding the eVic VTC Mini. First of all, HOW did I wind up in that message? I have never owned one of those (however, I did just order one for Mattie). She fried her larger VTC. @Huckleberried , you were in that message btw.

The silver Griffin has the geekvape on the top cap and the Griffin logo on the chimney,, no cursive "Griffin" on the chimney. I've rewicked that friggin thing 3 times today and it's still pouring out oh, it'll work for a few minutes, maybe even an hour but eventually it dumps.

Now I've got the Goliath. Watched a bunch of videos, built decent coils, wicked it properly and,,,,, you guessed it, it leaks.

Every single Kanger subtank with the rebuild in it also leaks. The one and only tank I have that isn't leaking is a brand new crown I just got and I've got a stock coil in it. I'm a little afraid to try the rebuildable on it!!!

I just cannot believe that I'm screwing up the wicking this bad. I swear I'm doing it just like in the million videos I've watched. Pretty effin discouraged right now. I do NOT want to keep buying coils, there's just no reason for it.

Might want to ask someone like @raymo2u but IIRC the ones without the griffin script were promo or early ones, maybe there's a mistake somewhere before they perfected it.

I found that to be completely random!

I hope Mattie enjoys hers even half as much as I like mine. It's a great little mod.

The reviews were good. I was planning on getting her a Hana V4, but she wanted the VTC Mini in red...so that is what I ordered. As for her atty, The base on her Subtank Mini is in perfect condition, so I ordered her a borosilicate tank/top cap for it.

Got any pics of your wicking, I would love to help you along so you dont have anymore issues...There's a slight learning curve with wicking and after seeing where you are now an" wicking could be the proper wicking for much larger more thirsty coils...

I got my first pair of 25Rs from ilumn, and they also sent a free battery box, so I thought they were my new source. Then I saw that "backordered" nonsense, and hey, when we finally get a good check, you know it burns a hole in my pocket for some new vapegear, not waiting around on backordered shit! :D Plus I ordered that new iPV Mini, so I really needed some more good batteries. I vape at such low wattage (10w or less), I sometimes let my old efests stand-in for the 25R's when they're being charged, but I know it's really not the best idea.

One of my 25R's had its wrapper scored practically the first time I used it; there isn't any metal showing, so it's still safe, but I've been leaving it in the box and just using the other one. I suppose one day I might get around to re-wrapping it, but I really know nothing about doing that correctly, so it really seems best to just not use it.

ROFL! I just love the round numbers. I had that little setback after my appendectomy, so I'm always happy to see the numbers growing, time since I smoked, number not smoked, money not spend on coffin nails. :) Having to reset my counter when I had that month-long smoke-break nearly killed me.

It really did. During that whole month, I kept waiting for the transition, it was so easy the first time.... finally it occurred to me that I was going to have to just draw a line, and not cross it. And it was actually a huge relief; I kept trying to limit my smoking, trying to vape more and more, but the stupid addict in my brain was at me constantly: "is it time yet?" "how about now?" "Is it time now?" "HOW ABOUT NOW?" When I finally said THAT'S IT, NO MORE! that stupid 2 yr old shut the hell up and left me alone -- for 10 days. Then it started again... but fortunately, I had acquired some WTA during that time, and that stuff REALLY stuffed a sock in that brat's mouth. :D

Seals will make any tank leak. Also check the screw in coils .

Sounds like it... but I couldn't do it that way, with booze. I had to draw that line 23+ yrs ago, which could never be crossed, one day at a time. Pretty sure that particular line is the only reason I'm still alive. ;)

I was that way about alcohol for a while... then it dawned on me, it wasn't gonna get up and pour itself down my throat. :D Now I don't mind if someone is drinking around me... My son used to keep beer in the fridge, when he lived at home, and I really could not have cared less. I just can't stand to be around drunks. Mostly I'm afraid they're gonna barf, and I really don't wanna be anywhere near that. :D
