CONGRATZ @Break-19!!!! That's an amazing win!!! I never win like that at my casino. Hell, I'm mostly happy if I break even and managed to play for a few hours. Pretty exciting!!

Happy Friday everyone!! Sun is shining but it's still chilly enough for the furnace to run. Guess I won't go out and clean the garden,,, maybe I'll go shopping instead.

Speaking of shopping... I ordered a Lemo2 this morning. I think I finally got the silver Griffin working...so far anyway. Took it all apart, checked all the o-rings, rewicked (again!) lubed up the o-rings a bit and it seems to be doing better now. It hasn't dumped on me at least.

That Encom Voidray showed up today. I'll try to get pics up in a bit. Initial impression?? I'm glad I didn't pay for this thing.

No word about the new job yet. Damn, I hate waiting!!

The hardest part of exercise for me was getting up to do it, when I'm at the lowest even a shower can be monumental. It gets pretty bad sometimes (the lows, not the showers lmao I still manage it) and basic housework takes all my energy. I also have what they think is fibromyalgia and quite a few other issues that steal my energy even in the summer.
Please excuse me if I come-across preachy on this subject. It just happens to be one in which I have very strong opinions :)

Eleven years ago it was all I could do to haul the garbage cans to the street. Now I curl them as I'm carrying them down the driveway. (If they're not too full, anyway.)

Three months ago, after exercising only in fits-and-starts all last year, I felt run-down, my sciatica was acting up again--for the first time in at least 15 years, and I had aches and pains all over the place. Today, after being back on a regular workout regimen since the beginning of the year: I'm physically exhausted, and I'm sore all over, but I feel good. More than good: Great, in fact. Despite the fact I'm physically exhausted: I have more energy. Never mind that my pants fit better and I just plain look better.

Were there days I just plain didn't feel like it? Damn betcha there were! Those were the days I knew it was more important than ever to do it. Funny thing about those days I "just didn't feel like it": Many of those ended-up being some of my best workouts. When I'm not feeling all that great, going in, I almost always feel better after a good workout--be it weight training or cardio.

I look at it this way:

Just ordered some pre-made 28g/32g Ni200 clapton wire. Figured this might be a worthy experiment in my KF v4 and Hurricane

Ooooh how do I add cranberries to my lemon cookie? That would be bomb. I think all I have is cap cranberry though
Hmmm. I have TFA, so I don't know how strong that one is. The minimum I've used mine is 0.5%, the max is 2% that I've gone. Have you tried that one standalone? I'd say to start low so that it doesn't compete too much the the Lemon. Cranberry likes to push other flavors around, lol. Let me know how it goes, I saved your cookie recipe.

We really are twins, aren't we?

Living in Michigan I know this all too well :)

There can be help, though. For some people vitamin D supplements help. Less exposure to sunlight means less vitamin D you produce on your own, sometimes creating a deficit. Another OTC solution some folks have found effective is St. John's Wort. The best solution, in my view, is exercise. Besides the obvious health benefits: Exercise can lead to increased endorphin and serotonin levels. These both lead to improved mood and less feeling of fatigue. Endorphins are also natural pain and stress fighters.

In males: Mood is also affected by testosterone levels. "Low T" can also have a number of other deleterious side-effects. Some types of exercise can also increase T levels.

Disclaimers: The above are not recommendations. I am not a doctor or health professional of any kind. Nor do I play one on TV. Nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express, last night.
OK curve ball with this. Before talking herbals consult a good herbalist and versed Dr. about any interactions and side effects. Remember herbs and plants were medicine before we got pharma fucked.

Vitamin D is tough to get and most supplements it is synthetic and not all that absorbed by the body easy. To much fake Vitamin d and you are going to have fucking heart and kidney failure with liver damage. Get your vitamin d levels checked before hand. Find a water soluble one.

Go full spectrum lights for SAD, it will help.
Eggs, Sun and lean red meat are going to be best way to get Vitamin D also and unless you have an issue with cholesterol. Make sure Rbgh free meats.

Forget St. John's wort you can actually do way more harm than good with it.
If sleep is an issue melatonin and dark room, it will help with the serotonin levels.

For women the vitamin D and serotonin a key factor in combating estrogen based cancers.

@always9988, Mi, PNW on the same latitude minus the fucky of the lake effect snow and nothing approaching a mountain I know the gray sky stuff all to well.
Oregon and Washington have a spike of breast cancer Dx year over year due to the lack of vitamin d and lack of the orange sky blob.

DO it.
Get your vitamin d levels checked before hand.
I had mine checked more than once, ended up on a 5,000 i.u. one. Still don't know what's going on, except discoid lupus and can't tolerate too much exposure, so no tanning for me.

All I've done is order more flavors when I haven't used half what I had already

OMG woman, ditto! I don't know what a third of mine even taste like yet.

not tanning, just a few minutes of natural exposure will do wonders, on 5000 icu I would keep on the levels being checked.
They had mom on that along with 20k injections and almost had to admit her back in to detox from the D levels being toxic.

The last going on 5 years has been diving face first into this with fighting estrogen based breast cancer. If a Dr. says oh it is cancer you better be finding out what type, sub type and class that shit is to get a handle on treatment options. What works for one might and can often enough not do shit on the other.

It's a pretty good casino. I've been going there since they opened and they've grown leaps and bounds from where they started. We always check out any casino that might be around when we travel and we very often like ours better,,, probly just because we're used to it but it really is pretty nice. Tons of machines, lots of tables, the Maple Room restaurant is very good, Stix sports bar is where we always eat (same chef as the expensive place). The hotel rooms are very nice, we've stayed a few times when we get free rooms. You should come check it out,, there's always a ton of Vermont plates in the parking lot.

I may have been too quick to judge.. There are things I like and things I don't but overall it's been working really well.
The good stuff: This thing is light! Like, super light! Lightest single battery mod I've ever held. It's some kind of aero-space material but honestly it's plastic. Maybe it's a good tough heat resistant plastic but still plastic. 5click on and off, usb charging (which I never use with 18650 batts) and it asks "new or same" when you put a tank on it.

The bad stuff: see that blue button in the side? That's the battery release and more than once today I've hit that button and ejected the battery, which is held in that sleeve and slides into the bottom of the device. See the connection on the top? There are no air channels, although every tank I've put on it doesn't sit flush so there's a tiny bit of air flow under the tank. Packaging not as nice as other mods I've got, the user manual is one sheet of cheap cheesy paper with the usual bad English.

Would I pay $69 for this?? No. Will it work for the way I vape?? Yes. It also does TC but I don't so can't speak to that. I've been using it all day and it's working just fine. It'll make a good backup device. I just have to be careful to not hit that battery eject button.... Worst design flaw ever!!!

That's my take on it... I should go thank HG for the gift.

It's really gorgeous! But if it was me, with my long fingers/thumbs... I'd be hitting that batt release every 5 minutes. :D And I'm not sure I'd really like such a lightweight mod.... I'm happiest with my Coolfire4's and iPV Mini's, and both are fairly solid, especially the iPV Minis with an 18650 inside. I loved my iStick30s when I first got them, but after I got the CF4, which is a lot heavier, I found I liked it a great deal more, and the same thing happened when I got my iPV Mini, which is heavier still -- I really like the solid heft of it.

Sure great looking, though!
