Haddock baked over brown rice & green beans
We're having brown rice tonight too -- sweet n sour chicken, fried brown rice with fried onions. Nummy! thie chicken is currently thawing in my microwave, and when it's done I'll be outta here till after Criminal Minds tonight... hmm, maybe later, we also have a DVR of Lucifer to watch.

We'll do the nuker food tomorrow night, maybe Friday too. If we don't have to go up to my mom's this weekend, I'm cooking a mushroom meatloaf, Saturday... if we do have to go spend Sat night at my mom's, then sunday for that.

Yeah, we haven't done booze in 23 yrs. Last friday night I made parmesan-crusted fried chicken and ranch mashed potatoes.

That one was caught by accident on a Marlin charter out of Cabo San Lucas, Baja CA... Live squid is a favorite bait for both big tuna, and world class blue Marlin...candy bar bait, everything eats'um..lol

Last el nino we had, buddy fisherman caught a humbolt squid in the mouth of the columbia.
Since he is a commercial holder he sold it for 500 bucks.
Showed a sushi chef who went ape shit that he did not hit him up first and sold that squid for less than a 1/4 of what it was worth for it's size.

Took me a few hours, (took breaks and had dinner inbetween) but i got a really cool build done. Time to relax and sit back
When the giant squid are caught down here there are always those who want to buy them waiting on the dock before we even tie up..but people really want my tuna, and I always get offers for my fish..
Had my limit of 5 tuna all over 50lbs..sold 2 of them for $300 before I even got to my truck...that covered the cost of the trip and then some..
Lots of benefits of a good tuna trip !
