Same here...waiting for it to blow in off the Pacific....they make a big ado about these storms anyway, might not as bad as local news makes out...expecting it to hit here about 10 am ..howerever LA county is getting hammered with heavy rain, hail and thunderstorms at this very minute...be down here soon.. :(

They just had a bunch of repairs done from the last bad storm, so I am hoping things go ok during this one, my dad and sister arrive there this Sunday, looks like a fricken blizzard here right now...sigh

I made a comment about grabbing a handful of Nurse Cutie-Pie. If I were in your place, I wouldn't do it, because Liz would find some surgical shears, and - goodbye, offending hand.

Then, I'd have to change my name to Stumpy (disclaimer - I intend no offense to amputees with the last comment; I was only hoping to cheer @Saddletramp1200 up a little bit).

Am I nervous about my first of three surgeries on Tuesday? You bet. That's why I'm jabbering here, for sleep eludes me. Liz just got up five minutes ago to get some sweet, black grapes. She gave me a few, then threw away the stems, laid down, and went back to sleep.

As should I. 'Night. (Morning... yawn...)

Having the Keurig, and only drink 1-12oz cup in the morning, it's Green Mountain Dark Magic. When I was brewing a pot for the wife and I, it was Maxwell House Columbian Supreme.

Oh boy I've been away from almost everything for a few days. I came down with the flu and I'm still trying to shake it but I feel a lot better today. Missed checking in here every day while I was down and out. So.. Hi!

Yeah it's a mule kick to the throat.

I was so surprised how sudden the onset was, I went from feeling fine to "I'd be OK with dying right now" in a few hours. Rough!
