Last time I heard a boy shot a woodpecker at the local park in Harbison Canyon with a 22 caliber pellet gun.. Was seen and sheriff was called by a witness..went to court and was fined.. That was 3 yrs ago..nobody personally I know kills woodpeckers ..or jack rabbits or squirrels or quail that are numerous out here in the wild.... we got a good population of coyotes as well as occasional mountain lions that roams the rural countryside out here... neighbor had her little dog killed by a mountain lion recently and called Animal Control rather than shoot it, possibly risking a fine..

In the airgun world, we practice what is known as "SSS", Shoot, Shovel, and Shut up. Living in harmony with nature is devine, but as in even this fine neighborhood, there sometimes are nusiance pests that just go against the grain and need to be dealt with.

I just wish the stupid peckerheads could get it thru those tiny birdbrains that a house is NOT a tree! Go peck on the damn trees all you want, but leave my house ALONE!

Last varmit I shot out here was a 6' Diamond Back Rattle snake..blew his head off with my .22-250 Remington BDL sporter at about 50yrds...I don't even own a air rifle... No use for one these days...

Your location, I can see. But for me, the back 40 (feet:)), a .22-250 is a bit overkill, over powered, and illegal in a residential area. So has to suffice with the legal tools at hand. Though I do know a bunch of guys out your way that wreak havoc on ground squirrels with air rifles.

Not illegal here..I could set up a firing range on this property if I wanted..we are rural country out here..plenty of space backed up by steep hillsides..just sayin

Yeah, I like the .22-250 for accuracy.. using a 3x9 Leupold scope at 100 yrds I get a tight 5 shot group about the size of a penny off the bench..
I got a Ruger 10/22 that is also pretty accurate but I don't shoot it much anymore... Also have the .22 Ruger Mark 2 pistol with the 5 1/2" bull Barrel that's accurate out to 25 yards or so..I shoot that occasionally out here just for target practice... Its alot of fun, lol

I don't understand the differences of mtl..,

Matt
Its simple really..mouth to lung (MTL)vapers are just that..usually using 1.0+ ohm coils on tanks with tight airflow, at about 2Ow maximum..also called tootle puffers as opposed to deep lung hitters on subohm (below 1.0 ohm) tanks, RTA's and RDA's with dual coils and wide open airflow anywhere from about 75w up..Hope this helps,

It's not a bad little mod, don't think I'd use it as my daily but it's fun to use around the house.

Just make sure you build high, I'm at .60 with it right now and it's pretty powerful.

I am aiming around .5 whenever it gets here

Turn the cats loose

Heh... well, only got one, and she *does* put the fear of Cat into the birds (and squirrels!). But she's turning into such a lazy housecat, I can hardly get her to go outside anymore, and even when she does, she doesn't stay very long before she wants back in. I guess the comfy chair is a better place to sleep than concrete. :D Sleeping is really what she does best. ;)

That's the chair I always sit in to watch TV; once, I nearly sat right down on her, but she managed to wiggle out before she got my full weight. Now, all I have to do is turn on the TV, and *flash* she's outta there like a black streak of lightening. :D

I usually mtl unless I'm desperate for a nic hit. But not as low watt/high ohm as most. Generally .6ohms at around 40-50w. Sounds weird I guess, I never did quite fit the norm lol
No, I have a few I do the same with, LOL. More like, 2. Delta 2 and Crown are both 0.5 ohms. Crown just usually sits by asking if I remember I still have it.
