I think I remember Grossinger's Was that Round Top/Purling Monticello or around Hunter ? I worked at the Bailawick ranch and we were neighbors with the Catskill Game Farm which is now defunct. My father has 7 acres and he still lives up there.

All I remember is the Town of Liberty. It's long gone, in it's day a beautiful resort.
