Possibly the most embarrassing moment in my life.
Think I was 14 or thereabouts, I knew girls from school and visited,
went to a dance joint in back of the bowling alley, but this was my real first date
with a very pretty chick I can't remember where I met.
I had money 'cause I was working weekends and summers as a mover.
I worked all day and came home in a hurry, showered and got ready and mom took me
to meet the girl at the movies as we'd planned.
Got dropped off and went to pay for the movies and I'd forgotten my wallet.
Chick got pissed off. I had a dime in my pocket for the pay phone.
Called my mom who picked us up and gave the girl a ride home.
Never saw her again.
Next I might tell you about another great embarrassing moments.

Yep seems like the right half of the US is getting nicer warmer temps while the other half is getting pounded by rain and snow. High around 73 today with a light breaze. Lol

You're not alone.
I didn't go back to sleep. Spent an hour and a half on hold
with USPS to put a tracer on a package that was supposed to
be delivered on Thursday but is stuck somewhere in Texas.
I have a cool mail man. He said they are 4 - 6 days behind.

Got me a nice nap, a cuppa coffee! I'm ready.
My mail lady is terrified of me...but this ain't her fault.
However yesterday I had to spend an hour on hold with USPS also,
to get them to correct 4 packages she handed me but somehow
got scanned as refused delivery return to sender. That may well be her fault.
Now I have 4 merchants, one credit card co, and Paypal
emailing me pissed off that I refused their shit which I'm holding
or is under the Christmas tree.
I was told it would be corrected but hasn't.
Was told today maybe by Monday afternoon.
Now I have to write a bunch of emails explaining
why they need to ship with UPS
Although I'm also waiting for some lab equipment UPS was supposed to deliver
by yesterday that won't be here until Wednesday.
