God love ya. I know this day has been tough.
I won a contest from heavens gifts, back in November, asked and asked for a tracking number , finally like 3 weeks later they tell me DHL is holding it because I was not home ....They said call up DHL, so I use the tracking number they supplied finally with this update and it says my package is in Latham, NY (3 hours away) evidently they sent it to the wrong address because I have a PO box and live no where near there, so now it doesn't look like they want to resend my prize.

It has been. But now it is time for the healing. For my sisters dad and I. Remembering the good times and knowing mom will always be looking down on us.

I can relate, and will most likely this time next year, family is KEY to healing....AMEN

I visited my mother today and,... well, the visit made me kind of sad in a way;
At 68 years, of age and no preparing for retirement it is difficult for her to make ends meet.
Nearly brings me to tears that her rented home is so...(not clean at all)...I think her eyesight is failing so badly that she can`t see the...filth?
I love my mom..so much..can remember the day she walked me to school on my first day of kindergarten class.
Moms are truly special...not sure what else to share of feelings...
Just remember my friends; YOU, start saving a little $$ today, because what you are allowed in retirement / SS is not going to cut it..

Ever been to our airport? It's tiny and usually packed..... I'm like 3 miles away and have every plane that goes in or out usually flying over my house :-(

Haha I never even notice the planes, F16s or helicopters flying over daily. I've lived near it for so long I've toned it out. The airport also shares its run way with the Army guards heli base and the Air Guards base so I have military planes/helicopters flying over very low daily.Yes and Whoa, you live near THOSE planes coming in & out??? Holy crap that has got to be LOUD!!!!
