Research from Farasalinos shows that cigarettes show up to 110 times more of these chemicals than the vapor from e-cigarettes and not one case of "popcorn lung" has been shown. Still doesn't hurt to be safe and that's what this is supposed to be all about. I have a bunch of juice from them coming in. I guess I'll have to ask for the reports of the tests and then move on to DIY after these to be sure.

I don't know the outcome or if they ever published all the reports, but vaporshark was testing a lot of the juices they sell
I'm a little weary of Dr F. But yea, this is true.
The research done on bronchiolitis obliterans mostly took place with factory workers
in popcorn factories. You can get popcorn lung from hanging out by your microwave
while you nuke popcorn,especially buttered popcorn...a lot.

Alright dumb post but I'm gonna post it anyways cuz IDGAF.
I was playing with my new little device (VTC mini) in front of the mirror admiring my clouds (ooohh pretty...) when I accidently made a smoke ring. And then did it again and again and again. WoOoOo for me! Lol I've never really even tried before. Just a lil bit more practice maybe.

I used to blow the most-defined, THICK smoke rings when I was a young cigarette smoker.
However, it turns out that it exacerbated my temporomandibular joint problems (TMJ Syndrome). So, I haven't blown smoke rings in decades.
In storage, I have old-style syringes, glass-type (I've been type-1 since I was a kid) and an Autoclave (sterilizer for the needles and 'works') - but, to begin DIY-ing e-liquid, I followed @HazyShades advice, and downloaded E-Juice Me Up.
Now, I will research (with a little help from my friends here) how to create magnetic stirrers, and get the necessary test tubes and flasks. I'll buy a large, digitally temp-controlled crock pot.
No diacetyl, acetapropionyl or acetoin for my e-liquids. Kosher-grade flavorings seem to be the way to go, and I've read good reports about Nude Nicotine. Now, it's power-nap time. Good morning @Whiskey, @Markw4mms and @pete67.

Those stir magnets are a deal but I suggest you stick to the 1 inch bars.
I made 3 mag stirrers from 6 inch computer fans
I got out a an old mainframe. Had over a dozen fans in it. The magnets I got out of my extensive collection of old hard drives.
I knew they'd be good for something.
I mix alot of 3 and 5ml batches. That's why I have so many bars.

Yo @LOveWerks , get some Neodymium magnets or preferably tear a hard drive apart and scavenge the magnet
and place it on the fan blades. It will stick. Get a power supply for the fan. An AC to 12 volt DC adapter is good.
Skip the test tubes, get erlenmyer flasks, you can get 'em cheap on Ebay but the rubber stoppers usually don't come with,
so I suggest...homesciencetools.com where you can get the borosilicate (as good as pyrex but cost less)
flasks cheap and matching rubber stoppers for .45 cents.
Check the temperature (I've been using the old lady's analog turkey baking thermometer but just got a digital
thermometer for 5 bucks on Ebay.) on your autoclave 'cause you may not need a crock pot.
Just don't heat anything over 140 degrees farenheit cause you don't want to burn your flavors.
Nic evaporates at a much higher temp so don't worry about that.
I use the crock with an alcohol lamp stand inside and put my erlenmyers on it & heat in a bain marie.
You can get the stand from homesciencetools.com also.
Get some plastic syringes and blunt needles from ecigexpress
or use your glass works and just get the blunt needles from ecigx.
Nature's Flavors flavors are organic so you might wanna look at those first.
As you said, Kosher VG and Nude nicotine.

PS. The magnet goes on the fan hub not the blades. I put clear plastic CD case
on top of the fan, screwed rubber feet on the fan mounting holes to keep it from dancing off the counter
and on the other side to keep the CD case from sliding around

I mix 30 ml or 90 ml batches. I have four one inch bars. I have a 2 inch and a 3 inch also but the little bars give you a better vortex
and fit perfect in either the 50 ml or 120 ml erlenmyer flasks I use.
For 5 ml try it batches I just put on some old rock and roll and
