Not too bad. Only the third time I have locked keys in a car. 45 years of driving, that ain't bad.Damned....That sucks

Oh no ! Sorry Dicky ! It's always tragic when a dog dies. Their part of the family and unlike kids they don't give you any headaches. One of my dogs died a few months ago and I was traumatized. He was the best dog ! Hope your doing ok!

Thanks guys. I'm doing "ok"... Just kind of going through the motions. I had to be at work early today with it being "go live" day for our new incident tracking system that I have spent the past 18 months developing. I told my boss I need to leave early though, so I can bury his body. He was a great dog...

Thanks Bratt and Huck. He is not the first pet I have lost, and won't be the last. It is always hard though. At least I still have my young guy. He is just a year and a half, so I should have many years with him still.

I don't have the funds for a cremation and fancy urn (kind of creeped out by it too), so buried in the back yard by the plumeria that was his pissing post will have to do.Awwww So sorry to hear that, sad for you
Been through that myself recently with the loss of a pet, never an easy thing to go through. Don't be ashamed to cry, I sure as hell did and still do on occasion, and it's been a couple months.

I did have my last 2 cats cremated. I was apartment living at the time and had no idea what to do. They put their ashes in these little containers - so weird. I put those in a really pretty wooden box with their fave toys and my fave photos. Seems weird when I type that out, but it made me feel good at that time. I still have them. I wouldn't know what else to do with them.
My boyfriend planted a Calla Lilly in a corner of his yard and his nephew made 2 plaques with his dog's names on them. Very pretty little memorial. Can you believe in our county it is illegal to bury them on your own property?
