Can't do swordfish, I love most types of seafood but just can't eat swordfish..... Most kitchen folks I know feel the same way lol.

I have found that during my career to be careful to note if the steaks have a significant fat layer between the skin and meat. Most cold water gamefish do best seared at an absurdly high temp. A great many also have issues with shark....being a relatively warm water beast, and constantly in motion....the animal's muscle tissue is LOW in fat, and is best brined or dredged in something moist like grainy mustard....then seared or grilled on the hottest part of the cooker.

@huck im getting great flavor off this tank as well. But yeah that airflow ring had to go. Can atest to the likes to leak at first as well. But overall i stand by my solid bix decent tank statement. But i also plan on typing up a more formal review after a few days of really using it. Give it time to show me its quirks and it pluses. I love how it was packaged. I was almost sad to take everything out and throw it in my tackle box. I got my crown coils and my belrog coils in two separate areas. Im so happy i spent the 10$an on then tackle box.

I've run across that problem with Mahi in the past. Worms will be present when there is ANY minuscule trace of ammonia smell....this goes for all species of shark and marlin as well.

My issue with swordfish is the mercury and oil in the meat in addition to having more worms than aback drum. Shark is great but it has to be bled right away; because, they pee through their skin and mussel. Consequently, I only eat shark when I catch it.

Drum and red get thrown back over ten pounds, way to many worms in the bull size

Generally I do not worry much...just pick them out, and avoid the belly meat. They can be quite the turn-off lol.

I marlin fish off the coast of Maryland every year. It is a moment of satisfaction to get that baby on the boat after an hour of fighting that bitch.

Speaking of belrog, thw tank is a juice hog. But grwst flavor. And without the airflow ring, airflows good. So far only complaints about it are tank related. The rill is very okwars and almost requirs a unicorn bottle to have any hope of properly filling the damn thing

Okay, you cover shipping. It's $185 to ship. ;-)

I'm sure they go for around that, when Vaporz Clouds released them they had them for $175 pre shipping. Then sold all 500 of them, i got it for the release price. I've tried finding them for sale online and can't.
