Wismec RX 2/3 - the lid no longer closes the circuit

Hello! It is my first time posting so if there's a better category for this issue, plese let me know.

My Wismec suddenly is no longer working after fixing the lid in place. It does however work if I put the lid slightly below, so that the metal connectors touch eachother in a specific way.

Any help would be appreciated! Can' figure why the connectors suddenly stopped closing the circuit

I assume that you have cleaned all the battery connections in the mod, including those down in there?

The thing is, the batteries are clean and the little connector rods on the lid look alright too. They just don't close the circuit, for some reason.

Look clean or did you clean them?
the ones down inside as well.

Yup, cleaned throughout. Nothing.

Is it the check battery error? I Had to solder my wife’s 2/3 back to life. If so, here is a vid from YouTube as how to fix it.
