The TFV4 will give you an awesome lung full vape, downside is the RBA deck sucks and leaks like a bitch. Take a look at the Boreas. Excellent lung full hits, especially with a dual coil build around 80 to 100 watts. Downside on the Boreas is lay it on its side and it will leak, as long as it is standing up will never leak a drop. For single battery use the Merlin is an outstanding performer. I am running 5 of them and usually vape them around 35 watts. A couple of mine have SS Clapton coils in them and the flavor is amazing. Also look at the Crown. It is in my opinion better then the TFV4, easier to fill and less fiddling. Still have to buy coils for it but it will definitely give power hits easily. I vaped the crown up to 150 watts before and its a performer. Like the TFV4, it needs a dual battery mod to properly perform and you need to buy coils for it.
Starre Pure is better than all of those tanks. ;) (in my opinion)

Thank you all for the advice (Chop, Rix, Deb,Draco) I have a lot of looking around to do. I am still a few weeks out from ordering anything so I have a lot of time to look around. One good thing about being a research shopper, I will pick them all apart for days before making a decision. At least I have the mod nailed down the RX seems like it will work with what ever I choose so just finding he tank narrows it down some.

And g'morning everyone!

T-1 day until complete awesome the only thing better than vape mail is car mail. Been wearing the track button out my phone watching these baby's!!

Once you're settled on the mod the rest is just compulsively buying tanks.:giggle:

The RX will give you a lot of flexibility to use any tank you want. I have several smaller mods in the 75-100W range and are either limited in tank size, like on a Pico (23 mm max), or wattage. While I never really go over 50W that often and would be fine with any of my mods for that, the "lower power" mods only use 1 18650 or 26650 battery, and running those high will result in lots of battery swaps. I use stuff like my Duo, Triade, or RX200 more for the battery life than the super high wattage.

I also don't trust the power ratings on the cheaper mods (opinion only, but sorta supported by inspection). The cheaper, mass produced Chinese products are not built with long term survival in mind. Inexpensive 510s, smaller gauge wires, and whatnot all do keep the cost down so they are priced well, but they're not going to stand up to high power for long periods of time. My personal rule (opinion only) is not to run more than 1/2 to 2/3 the "max" rated power. So for something like my 75W Pico, 50W max. My 100W Presa, 70W max, and so on. My RX I probably wouldn't push above 100-130W.

If I wanted to run high wattage all day, I'd go with a board like a DNA. even then, I'd be a bit cautious, but more for the reason that high power will also result in high board temps, and the enemy of all electronic components is heat, and I'm not looking for premature failure.

My only other requirement for a mod is no tank overhang. They have to sit properly or else I get all obsessively freaked out. And with all the 25 mm tanks on the market, it means something with a big enough 510. Don't even get me started on a Modfather..........

You get cars sent to you in the mail?? hehehe

Our system is bought and paid for by the two parties, who when threatened push statements like this to scare people away from considering a third party.

He's not going to win, that's a given.
He'd win by a landslide if everyone who says they don't like "either" candidate knew there was a third legitimate choice and voted for him. I don't think it's a given that he won't win, and like Andria I refuse to vote for someone I don't like just because I'm afraid of handing the election to someone else I don't like.
I have a far more negative view of it than that. Hope I'm wrong, but as you said......the system is bought and paid for. From what I've heard, its not D's sayin he'll drive folks to Trump to scare them into not voting for him......it's been R's saying it to try to get folks to vote for him. As I said, hope I'm wrong, but I feel that elections really are bought and paid for, for the most part. If someone, that the powers that be didn't want in, were close enough to actually getting enough votes, they'd trump up (no pun intended) some kind of scandal on them so the support for that person would cease and desist. I don't really want to get into a debate about it, that's just my opinion, and I'd love to believe that I'm wrong, but that's how I see it. Everyone is free to disagree. I'm just very pessimistic when it comes to our country's election system. I'm definitely not tryin to scare anyone into voting or not voting for someone.

I'm not gonna stay on long, but wanted to see what all was going on. Still haven't been to sleep, but am hoping to head that way soon. Hope everyone has a great day!

Johnson currently has far more support than Perot did back in the day, and yet the Debate Committee refused to let him take part in the debates, even though they let Perot in. Why do you suppose that is? It's because they didn't care about Perot, but they are afraid of Johnson. Why are they afraid? Because he DOES have a chance.

I really have no confidence in the elections anyways. 2012 showed us our vote does not matter, voter fraud is the only thing that matters now. Look at it, in 2012 we had %140 voter turn out in parts of Florida and Colorado. Entire counties in Ohio that had Romney signs in many yards didnt register a single vote for Romney, not one. Every single state the Democrats fought against and defeated voter ID had massive voter fraud. Countless reports of voting machines changing peoples vote from Romney to Obama right before their eyes. The voter fraud was massive and all in Obama's favor.
There is no doubt in my mind that Hitlery will be handed the election and this once great nation will continue its downward spiral into communism.

Not to throw a monkey wrench into your mod decision but have your looked at the Pico Mega yet? It will use a single 18650 or 26650 battery. I have three of them and use a good 26650 in mine with a merlin and the battery will last all day. Efuntop has them for $23

Actually that looks very interesting and for me it would be easier to use with all the un-married 18650's I already have or buying some new 26650's. Since I have a charger that can handle both.

My only objection to the Pico Mega is that if they only made the front as wide as the back it would hold tanks >23 mm. The only thing that bulging back brings to the mod is the 26650, and it you're bothering with that, bulk up the front to match. To me it's just such a weird design decision.

Actually it fits the hand nicely and for $23 cant really go wrong with them. That is why I picked up 3 of them for that price. I been using the MXJO 4200mah 22 A batteries and they last a decent amount of time vaping a Merlin at 35 watts or even a super tank at 50 watts.

I haven't tried it yet. lol

The wire-wrapping is the easiest part -- getting just the perfect amount of wick, whatever kind of wick you like, is actually the "art," and takes a bit of trial and error, but once you get it down pat, then it's much easier -- but even after nearly 2.5 yrs doing it, sometimes I still mess it up and get too much cotton in there, and after about 3 hits, I start tasting wet/burnt cotton and have to pull it out and replace it.

But when you do finally start doing it... it's a good idea to stick with the same inner diameter of the coil all the time, because that way, once you do learn the right amount of wick, it will always stay the same. Like when I was trying out the stainless TC a month or so ago... I was using stainless wire instead of the kanthal I'm used to, but I still made 3/32 size coils, because I know how much wick to put in those.

The real beauty of it is that 1) wire and cotton (or rayon, whatever) are cheap, and can't be "regulated" into non-existence, and 2) you're no longer at the mercy of inferior, machine-made coils, and the infinite vagaries of the USPS. It's very liberating to be independent of all that, to be self-sufficient and ALWAYS in a position to have a great vape.

Yup. :) Fire away!
I think the one I'll be playing with is the Isub G, so not sure how which one you have, but here goes.
1 - I know you were rebuilding the stock heads, but is there a rebuildable head for them? Guess I could look that up. Yes there is.
2 - What size wire are you using
3 - What diameter
4 - # of wraps
5 - Spaced or contact
6 - If you've used the RBA head, how easy is it to build on?
If you have done both the stock and the RBA heads, answers for both would be appreciated. Just trying to get an idea before I play with one what I'm dealing with.

Have you ever rebuilt the coils that goes in the supertanks/aspires?

So I ordered some replacement coils for my Tornado nano from FT. They sent me the ones with the built in light.

Why? Really. Why would they make this? I can't take this out and be seen in public. I don't want to waste a month going back and forth over the Pacific for the normal ones.
