I'm just having one of those days where I really wonder why in the hell I'm still alive. Everything I ever enjoyed in life is over, at least the sex and drugs and booze and going anywhere or having any friends or... anything at all. Seems about all that's left is food, so I can get fat and diabetic like the rest of my family, and then spend 20 yrs wishing I was dead as one little piece of my body at a time dies, until it's finally finished.

And now I read that the goddamn FDA is gonna REGULATE vaping! Their fucking euphemism for goddamn EXTERMINATING it.

Good thing thoser tobaccocicles in my freezer are nearly 2 yrs old, or I might fucking smoke 'em just to stick my finger in somebody's eye, even if it's my own -- and a REALLY good thing there's no alcohol in my house.

I've been having 7 weeks like that :(

First, one of my oldest, dearest friend's 19 year old son has terminal cancer. He has a rare liver cancer that mostly attacks teens and young adults. Softball size tumor in the middle of his liver. An amazing surgeon in Cleveland got it out, rerouted the ducts. We thought he was on the road to recovery. Then in the middle of March we learned it metasticized to his lungs. It's not treatable.

Then ecf. And 6 weeks of trolls and shit. Due to the first HUGE emotional thing I'm trying to deal with, the ecf shit is worse than it should be.

Couple those with the broken fridge, fucked up DVRs, etc, and I'm ready to crack.

So, I hear you, and let's stick it out together.

I don't even have food really since eating makes me sick and gives me severe pain :confused:

Most of the *really good* food does that to me too. Good thing I like broccoli and whole wheat or I'd really be fucked.

O god I love that soliloquy.... I used to have the last sentence in my screen saver. I was in the middle of raising a teenage boy at the time, so the 'tale told by an idiot' part seemed quite apropos.

Really, broccoli? Damn I thought that stuff was the cure for pretty much whatever ailed anybody, but a lot of people have an irrational dislike of it -- it does have a strong smell if cooked too long, like all the cabbage-types.

Broccoli gives me really good smelly farts! I think it's my favorite vegetable cuz of that!:blech::giggle::shades:

Because of the pancreatitis?....it doesn't bother my pancreas as much as other things...like meat....:(

I get protein from fish now, even though I'm not nuts about fish (excluding lobster shrimp and scallops) of course.

Interesting. Meat is the easiest for me. Vegetables are a no go.

Broccoli is the devil in disguise. It loves to stop up my guts. I have to watch eating it, cauliflower. I cannot eat peanuts, or strawberries, berries with very tiny seeds. Got a whole course of admonishments for about four days in the hospital by several nurses, "fiber, fiber, fiber, and go fuck yourself, fiber."
