Sorry if I've worried anyone, life has just gotten so strange since the robbery that I've lost track of time. Running back and forth to the other place to check on it and sharing one vehicle since his truck is parked across the driveway to keep anyone from driving up it, it's long and steep so that works. He's been digging post holes to put a chain across the drive so he can have his truck back. Just crazy stuff like that, my muse has abandoned me again so Always I've been coloring too. Got an app for the iPad called Pigment that has pics to color like the ones on your scentsy warmer. It's not particularly artistic but it's calming and keeps my hand using a stylus.

did you get out in the canoe?

Noooooooooooooo..............I would do it myself at this point, but Mike is really dragging his feet on getting these set up. They are both still sitting in our garage, here. We are headed out for a 6 day trip on Friday. I'm really hoping that we take at least 1 of them and put it together and get it on the water. Once that happens the other one should go much faster.

ETA: Ummmmmmm.......I'm an idiot. Thought you were bustin' my chops for our Mokais........lol Disregard that post......lol

We may not have asked the question, but I was thinking it.
So, your update was timely and on point.

Those Mokais look like so much fun.

They will be if we have most of the summer to enjoy them......My brother and SIL are visiting on Sunday with us and I'm hoping that having Jimmy there will push Mike a little more because Jimmy understands motors and stuff. I think Mike is intimidated and is procrastinating. But, what do I know.......lol

Running a warehouse and some deliveries for a supplier of building products. They supply a lot of stuff for the Lowes I toil at. (That's how I know them).
Lol......was finishing up my "interview" in the warehouse doorway with the manager when our Lowes truck pulled up to pick up an order. The 2 delivery guys were confused as to why I was there. They figured it out.....I left there and went to work and it was already all over the store that I was there.
My dumbass, juvenile "manager" had trouble talking to me or making eye contact. Think it hit him that his days of doing absolutely nuttin coming into the worst time of the year are over. The assistant store manager for my area avoided me completely and didn't even come to our department to do his "job".
Hope to find out Monday. Think I would have been hired on the spot but the manager said he had to talk to HR about it because a 3 day job ad was coming out in the paper and website that day....plus they DONT WORK WEEKENDS!!!!!! Daytime hours Monday-Friday....5 hours of OT a week and almost $5/HR more than I make now.
I feel pretty good about getting it. They've been trying to fill it for a while. They keep choosing people that disappear on their way to the lab for drug testing.
Best of luck on this job, Hawkie!!!

And to you @always9988 !!!

After my most recent boofhead behavior, I may be looking for a job as well. Actually, I think I have gotten by with a hand slap and paying for the fuel that I wasted by yanking the wrong trailer (empty no less) for about 500 miles round trip. Guess I was just in my 'happy place' when I dropped and hooked.

BTW, the loaded trailer was not visible and the shipping guy said they only had one trailer ready for pickup and when loaded ceiling to floor, wall to wall with empty plastic bottles they only weigh in at about 5,000# so I had lots of reasons for making the mistake. No excuses, but lots, and lots of reasons!!! *insert facepalm here*

similar to this idea

living with someone that is limited to 10% hearing, and having to shout everything i say, all my thoughts tend to be shouty by default
This totally explains Hillary's looks.

Did I just say that out loud type? Sorry. No, actually I am not. But, we don't do politics or religion here. Just sex. Which isn't a bad set of parameters. Just sayin'.

is that stadium for baseball? looks to be a decent crowd
It's ATT Park, sold out for EVERY game since they won the World Series in 2010 (and 2012 and 2014)
They hadn't won the WS since the team moved from New York in '58, so it was a big deal. The park, built in about 2000, is considered one of the top 2 or 3 in the country, its GORGEOUS!! Check it out on Google Earth or whatever.

Claudia my love and hugs continuing to come your way :)

So good to see you, Claudia. Coloring is fun and good for the soul. Your muse is just on hiatus while you have all this other stuffs to do. She/he will return, have no fear.

I can see your evil grin as you pack the Kool Aid with sugar!

Nice to see you, Storm. Don't be such a stranger, K?

Thank you Glow. 464 kids and for a Monday a record number. Used 15 lbs. of sugar to the already sweetened kool-aid. Food service delivers on Wednesdays, so I've already placed request for additional 50 lb bag, along with more mix. One can is supposed to make 34 quarts. I use two cans for 22 quarts, then add sugar to taste. Justify it by saying the ice will dilute to proper strength.
Your empty back haul reminded me of an incident of hot shot move on the railroad where a customer needed tank car of corn syrup that had been delayed on a connecting line. I gave everyone the car number and made arrangements for special handling. The move from point A to B was fine. It was a tank car delivered to Little Debbie. The car number was correct, however the car initial was wrong and it was loaded with anhydrous ammonia...not something used to make snacks. Difficult to explain to the GM at the bakery as to why it happened and then have to explain to the anhydrous customer why his product was in Arkansas when it was supposed to be en route to Tennessee. :)
