Hah, that's awesome you got the red SL/LP! I remember you saying you wanted an LP, is it the first in your arsenal?

Loving my copper vein LP! I started using HIC's light american CIG recipe in it, and have ended up vaping 3% Cuban supreme for the last couple weeks straight. Has become my go to rig as so many other warned it would. Trying to keep my eyes off the classifieds, and it's rough because great stuff keep showing up! Very interested in the new 510s!!!

First LP, 4th Reo :)

I must have had low expectations from commercial tobacco vapes. I thought FA tobaccos were all pretty good. I am not into the light and sweet ones but Tuscan, Cuban, Cigar I thought were all good. I really like Tuscan by itself at 2%. Maxx is a good mixer. I have Burley, Dark Vapure, and Perique Black on the way, kinda excited about it actually.
Probably more like I had wrong expectations with some. They're all good so far, just not as heavy as I'm after at the moment. Except that Camtel... just not diggin on that one at all.

Mind you, I'm only trying at standalone right now, at either 2 or 3%. Looking forward to trying the rest of the flavor lineup too.

I like a little touch of FA Burley added to just about any tobacco recipe. To me, that's a real tobacco flavor.
And a little touch of Black Fire to make the exhale more like real smoke.
Tobacco wimp that I am, "little touch" is only about 0.5% each.... added to Cuban Supreme, yeah!

Yeah, I'm waiting on that Burley and the others to start working toward that cavendish recipe. PureVapes hasn't had the Black Fire in 3ml yet.

That is a great recipe. Enlightened me on how potent Black Fire is!

I got Black Fire as part of the tobacco package they sell. This 3ml should last a good while

Wonder why they don't list it. I should have just gotten that package in the first place.

Send him a quick email, RyGon. It usually turns out to be available in 3ml if it's listed elsewhere on his website.

Ah, I'll remember that next order. There were a few I wanted that were listed in 30ml but not 3ml. They seem to change so I figured he had it linked to his stock some way.

I recently bought some FA flavors and was hoping some one could give me some recommended percentages for flavors. I don't know if it matters but I like doing a 20pg/80vg. I usually make single flavor juices then mix those whenever I want to try something new. Also, I like my flavors strong. I'm really stoked I found this thread.

Custard
Blackcurrant
Coconut
Mad Fruit- really need input on this one. I love energy drinks but to me it smells like urine and tastes weird as hell.
Apricot
Cherry
Banana
Peach

Rygon he measures them to order. If he has it at all, he'll sell it to you.

I havn't had much luck with single flavor juices other than to get a feel for the unadulterated flavor. If you want strong flavors they will come out a lot more in a recipe. Save yourself some time and just order every flavor you can find and start mixing the recipes from some of the gurus here. ;)

Cool, wasn't sure how things worked over there.

My experience with single flavors is the same so far. I'm going to keep experimenting though, I'm a simple guy who enjoys simple flavors. I do love the black currant as a single flavor though. I plan to try a lot of recipes once I can afford to buy more flavors. Tonight was my first time looking at the recipes on these forums and they sound so good. Somehow I missed this place when searching for FA recipes occasionally for the past month.

Also wondering what are good places to order FA flavors in the US. I ordered mine from ecigexpress.

Pure Vapers is great for ordering small 3 ml sample sized bottles.

My favorite places also include RTS Vapes, and Bull City.

And welcome to VU!

Pure Vapes has the 3ml samples for $1.50, they also sell 30ml for a good deal. EliquidMart sells 5ml samples for I think $1.69, maybe a tad more and larger. Bull City Vapor has FA original stock bottles at various prices. ECX sells re-bottled FA (they can leak, so keep that in mind, and they will replace them if they do).

Pure Vapes. They have a tobacco sampler pack with most all he FA tobaccos in 3ml bottles, plus hypnotic mist. Black Fire was part of it.
Is it the same price as buying the 3ml separate? I'm curious of there tobaccos but I'm kind of not that into baccy anymore.

I like EM as a sweetener. Much better than Sucralose. It sweetens and it really does smooth things out. I think you would have to use quite a lot of it to taste cotton candy.

em will mute flavors.. and if you use above 10% the cotton candy shows up..
try tasting the powdered em, you can really taste the cotton candy then..

anyone watching for the blood moon?

Finding a happy place in vaping is the best. I recall all the times I wanted to give up, then finally had that moment of "Oh yeah, I can get into this!" Granted, mine was only a little more than a year ago, but you remember it when you have it :)

Yep, after failing miserably with one of the first kits available in 2009, I had to wait until technology finally caught up before I had my "Aha" moment. Now, if I could only find coils that will build themselves :D

I'm a tinkerer. Building coils and messing with stuff is what keeps me interested. Unless it gets cost prohibitive I imagine I will be building my own mods at some point.

Hellz yeah! I spent over a year cursing clearos and cartotanks and fried store-bought heads and and and. In 2 months it'll be 2 years. Having a happy place finally is sooooo nice. :)

Nice! I'd enjoy it a lot more if I could see those tiny things! My search for the perfect, hands-free lighted magnifier continues. It's really amazing to me that there's not many viable options, even for big bucks o_O

I have a pair of magnifying goggles with little LEDs that I use for various things. Thankfully I still have pretty good vision for normal things but I have done some sculpting down to miniature scale that I needed them for. For instance this little imperial guard is only about an inch tall.

Thanks, Smoky! I checked out both of these on Amazon and almost bought the eyeglasses until I found out you can only use one eye. I need both LOL! Right now I'm using a visor you wear on your head. It's the best thing I've been able to find, but the damn thing gets uncomfortable after a while. I appreciate the suggestions :)

Hmmm . . . magnifying goggles? Do you have a link? Very cool sculptures, BTW!
