Oh brother! You just experienced something I fear daily here in Los Angeles. Lately my carry around atty sits on a modified Gripper, which while driving or walking I hold in the palm of my hand, index finger on the button, steel drip tip out and showing. Looks or could look like a 22 or 25 caliber pistol. Your rig looks like it could be a higher caliber! Most people don't know what the hell we're carrying and of course assume the worse. I am so glad you didn't go for your PV to show the cop. In Los Angeles you would have 6 rounds in your chest before you reached it.

Take care @dre1982. I'm glad you are still with us. No hyperbole. And please keep us informed about what comes of the legal consult.

I'm not a criminal or anything but still I don't especially like pigs, i mean cops, they just give me an uneasy feeling.
Maybe i still resent them for giving me a speeding ticket or from when i was much younger when they used to raid our raves.

Best thing you can do brother, is just let it go. It wasn't personal, don't make it that way. At least you didn't get tasered lol, which really sucks btw.
This.. AND what @Garemlin said. I've had it happen to me for a different reason, and it sucks. Shook me up pretty good, but you gotta move on. Sorry you had that experience.

Yeah I calmed down now I'm just forgetting about it. The cop wasn't abusive and he was just doing his job

Exactly. Just put it behind you and be a little more cautious how you carry your mods. You just never know who is looking and getting the wrong impression.

On a side note imagine standing outside of a bank with a Coolfire 2. LOL

I can really understand how POd you are about this. But like other have said, move past it. The officer was within his rights to approach you if he was reacting to a dispatch or a report of some dude in a hoodie with a gun. Pursuing the issue is just gonna piss of the cops without achieving anything else except possibly fees for legal expenses if you choose to get a lawyer involved. Just talking to one is going to cost you $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Actually I am kind of surprised one of our local small town cops has not come up to me as I most always have the end of a KFL sticking out of my pocket.

Perhaps instead of wearing a hoodie you should wear a turban and robes (a fake beard would be a plus) and start taking the Innokin Itaste 134 out in public. Then you would be able to sue them for Racial Profiling for sure!:D

Here in the Bay Area we've had a lot of officers shooting guys, give thanks you didn't get some overzealous type throwing you to the ground or worse. Get a colored drip tip maybe?

I think women with pink and purple mods sticking out of their pocket or purse may be mistaken for carrying something other than a gun. Especially if batteries are visible.

awwww you beat me to it!!! :)

I don't blame it on the cop. I blame it on the irrational fear of guns that you get in places where the law abiding public has been disarmed. I bet you a dollar nobody would have looked at you twice in a place like Texas. Glad it ended well. I agree with others and would let it go. You weren't wrong for being freaked out and pissed off though.

In other countries cops don't shoot as many people as in usa, that's because in other counties people don't carry guns so the cops are less stressed.

I assume you are talking about the UK and maybe Australia.. which is true - but 'in other countries' generalizes that its all other countries besides the US and that's just not true.. maybe a few here and there.. but in most countries - the cops are more corrupt and trigger happy than the criminals

Trying to convince an american that carrying a gun is a bad thing, is like trying to convince a priest that there is no god.
I think i'll pass.
I'd be just fine if every gun in America was melted down into something that does humanity nothing but good.

Guns don't kill people ....
Lol... I was gonna stay out of this but my answer would be;

.... people with hoodies do.
Wow, even if that was for the sake of stirring the pot, pretty ignorant statement to make. Last time I checked the police didn't wear hoodies.

the cities that have outright banned guns, have the highest gun crimes, including murder with a gun. The states that have open and concealed carry for guns have the lowest gun crimes and homicides with guns. Nuff said. Back to vaping.

That's a nice dream you have there of magically melting down all the guns in America and making the world a better place . So when you get out of your daydream and put your Harry potter wand away, maybe you will see that your ignorance apparently has no bounds if you actually think the police do all the random senseless killing in the US.
