I fixed it for you. When that happens to me, I open it up on my PC with Photos and rotate the pic until it's right side up. Nice mods by the way!

I finally got sick of the shit paint job on my Alien mod (thanks SMOK) and got rid of the black spray paint they coated it with. I tried to make a brushed steel look and polished the whole thing up. The squeeze handle I coated with some rubber plasti-dip and a "splatter" effect for grip. Then I coated the trigger with a clear glossifier for added rubber grip. Not sure how to coat the metal to keep the gloss effect tho..

Search for aluminum/metal sealing I used one on my aluminum forge wheels on my car and works like a champ

That actually looks really nice.
Also people may give me shit for this but use a clear nail polish. it'll keep it shiny and protect the metal from scratching.

That looks nice! It's such a shame that SMOK is allowing such poor work to be shipped out like that and not using the correct prep on their paint jobs. The Alien is a really nice mod too. I just hope their new rainbow finish on the Alien doesn't end up doing the same. I also found out today from a local SMOK dealer that the GX350 was delayed due to both technical and guess what? Paint problems.

You know, I got several cans of spray paint from the auto store that were made for wheels like you recommend. I got 3 types of clear coat and a few "metallic" coverings to attempt to make the colored-aluminum look. Unfortunately ALL of them chipped at the slightest contact with something hard (my ring, keys in my pocket, bumping my phone), with the exception of one of the clear coats, but it came out kinda 'lumpy' if that makes sense. More for coating a mailbox or something larger I think. I've also tried a couple types of paint at Lowe's with no luck. And polyurethane yellows and peels off with the constant use and ejuice spillage.

Is that the glacier V3?
no v2, with a custom glacier tip :)
I have the v3, it's 24mm while the v2 is 23.3mm or something like that. the v3 uses a smaller drip tip, it is NOT a chuff like the v2. I prefer my v2 glacier over the v3. But the v3 uses a square deck like the twisted messes squared 2 which is awesome too. get both! before their all gone.

Here's the v2 and v3 side by side.

the chuff on the v3 glacier is actually a TFV8 chuff tip that I sanded a bit and is press fitted into the v3 glacier. got that tip from Fasttech for 5bucks.

Nice refinishing. Was it hard? Any tips?

Sent from somewhere in Vietnam.
Patience and time..... Picked the paint off little by little with my nails..... Took months.... Then buffed with sand paper, 2000 imperial wet or dry 401Q. then polished with 3M rubbing compound.

Still polish every couple of days.....

Nice. Cheers for the photos. I was going to wait for the price to drop before getting the gold V3 but I'm just gonna pick it up for the full price. :)

image.jpeg Already put this up in another sub topic, but this is my new rig, I don't see me going with more mods down the road, although I love this so much more than spending stupid money on cigarettes.... I do like my 50 watt to eleaf with the nautilus tank and vaping at 8.5 is the perfect setup for me, I am happy that I have saved almost $100 in the past week!!! Loving this and definitely can't get enough of my watermelon flavored juice. I find myself smoking this more like a cigar as well, very rarely do I inhale, but when I do.... I feel like Bill Clinton lol

Got my new Smok Alien kit (gunmetal), Alien mod protective case, 6 new LG HG2 batteries, and Smok 8-core fused claptons TODAY!!! Couldn't have timed the shipping better if I'd tried.

Alien screen scared the shit outta me....it got buffed and scratched really fast. Turns out it had a temporary cover, which I immediately replaced with the screen protector, and placed in the sleeve.

Not too shiny/flashy, but it does what I need it to do. Pictured with TFV8 BB and Cleito 120 (with and without camera flash)

Damn that looks sexy, am so tempted to buy that G class.
Where are you guys purchasing it from, who has the best price in US?
Last I checked Ecig-City had them. Varitube and KMG Import are also carrying them. Yihi firmly controls the price on the Mini line. I think they are $219 or up anywhere you find them.

The Therion with the Vivarium door is sharp. When I first saw it at Vape Geek I wasn't sure I liked it. Your pic, I like. Very nice my friend!

Cheers,
Steve

Just picked up a V1 crown locally for a good price. I like it coming from a big baby, Brit beast, Atlantis 2, and cleito in the rotation

Basically exactly what I use in rotation-
And sometimes I toss in the Arctic if I have the coils I love for them & the supertank mini

How do u like the troll? How does it compare to attys like the Merlin mini ( my current favorite), sapor rta(3rd place), the coil art mage rta,the griffin mini( my current runner-up), or the herakles rta-2? These are all of my daily Vapes ATM, the rest of my attys have been banished with their metaphorical heads dropped in disappointment and dejection, to the Drawer of perpetual Shame and Derision lol
