Washington D.C. To Hold Massive "Coordinated Terror Attack" Drill This Wednesday
April 26th is shaping up to be a busy day.

As we reported on Friday, that's when Operation Gotham Shield, an exercise involving FEMA, Homeland Security and a myriad of law enforcement and military agencies and which simulates a nuclear bomb blast over Manhattan, is set to conclude.

Then, as we learned earlier, April 26 is also when the entire Senate will be briefed by Donald Trump and his four top defense and military officials on the situation in North Korea at the White House, an event which Reuters dubbed as "unusual."

April 26 is also when the USS Carl Vinson is expected to finally arrive off the coast of the Korean Penninsula.

Now, in a statement from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, the regional association reports that "law enforcement officials and other first responders will participate in a full-scale exercise on April 26 designed to prepare for the possibility of a complex coordinated terror attack in the National Capital Region."

The statement adds that emergency managers who work together at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) planned the exercise to help protect residents by preparing for an attack involving multiple target locations and teams of perpetrators.

The exercise will be conducted across a widespread geographical area. According to the release, the regional exercise will be staged at six sites in the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia, and will involve hundreds of police, fire, and emergency medical service personnel and volunteer actors.

The locations include neighborhoods in the northeast and southeast quadrants of the District of Columbia, Prince George’s County, and Arlington and Fairfax Counties. Residents in those neighborhoods will be notified ahead of time to expect the exercise.

According to Scott Boggs, Managing Director of Homeland Security and Public Safety at COG, “Law enforcement officials practice and exercise their skills on their own regularly because that’s the best way to ensure we are always ready to respond quickly and professionally. On April 26, we’ll go one step further and stage a very realistic emergency event involving multiple sites and actors posing as the casualties. However, there is no reason for residents to be alarmed because the exercise will occur in a controlled environment.

The is scheduled to take place near or at George Mason University, and last from 8;30am until 4:30pm.

The statement also advises that the only media availability will be in a one hour block before the exercise, from 7:30am - 8:30am on April 26.

Right-wing radio host Alex Jones responds to Chobani lawsuit
By Associated Press April 25 at 6:30 PM
BOISE, Idaho — Right-wing radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones says he’s not backing down in response to a defamation lawsuit filed by Greek yogurt giant Chobani.

Jones, in a video posted on his Youtube channel Tuesday, said with no proof that billionaire George Soros was behind the lawsuit. Soros, who Jones called a “Nazi collaborator,” is not named in the lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit, Chobani argues that Jones and his InfoWars website posted fabricated stories earlier this month that linked Chobani owner Hamdi Ulukaya and the company to a sexual assault case involving refugee children. The company filed the lawsuit in Idaho District Court in Twin Falls, where it operates the largest yogurt plant in the world.

It’s seeking at least $10,000 in damages.
This story will require kettle corn.

The Simple Reason Why A Second American Civil War May Be Inevitable

America has always had its divisions, and Americans have never really been a monolith. We’ve always been a nation of many nations. The culture of New England is different from the culture of the Deep South, which is different from the cultures in the West Coast or the Midwest. People living in the cities have different beliefs than people who live in the countryside. Within those areas, there are ethnic, linguistic, and religious enclaves. It’s always kind of been like that (probably to a lesser degree in the past), and somehow we’ve been able to find enough common ground to keep this country together for more than a century.

However, something has changed. You can feel it in the air. Our nation has clearly never been this divided since the Civil War. A lot of people noticed it after the last election, but the truth is that these divisions have been deepening for decades, and they’re just now reaching a very noticeable breaking point. That’s obvious enough when you look at how the left and the right have been going at each other. It used to be a war of words, but it’s turning into something very dark.

Consider what happened last week in Berkeley after Trump supporters and counter protesters clashed for the third time. 21 people were arrested and 11 were injured (that we know of), six of who had to be taken to the hospital. At least one person was stabbed. The police confiscated confiscated knives, stun guns, and poles. One Trump supporter admitted to being surrounded, pepper sprayed, and beaten with sticks by a mob of “protesters.”

But wait, that’s not the dark part. After these groups clashed, the leftist protesters took to Reddit and admitted that they lost this particular battle (I can’t believe I’m using the word “battle” to describe it), and that it was time for them to attain more combat training and better weapons, including firearms.

Do you see what’s going on here? Conservative demonstrations, which used to be placid affairs (remember the Tea Party protests?) are now turning violent as conservatives grow tired of restraining themselves, and are no longer afraid to hit back. Liberal demonstrators are responding by ratcheting up the level of force that they’re going to bring to the next street battle. It’s a tit for tat that keeps escalating, and I shudder to think of where it’s going to end up.

Honestly, I think we’re in the early stages of a second civil war. I can’t say what it’ll look like precisely, but I can tell you that our nation is on this path, and it’s not clear how we can get off of it. In fact, I fear that it may be inevitable, and there’s a very simple reason why.

It’s because Americans have been self-sorting themselves along geographic and political lines for a long time. A book titled “The Big Sort” made light of this trend back in 2008.

Basically what’s going on, is that Americans are moving to communities that align more with their politics. Liberals are moving to liberal areas, and conservatives are moving to conservative communities. It’s been going on for decades. When Jimmy Carter was elected in 1976, 26.8% of Americans lived in landslide counties; that is counties where the president won or lost by 20% of the vote.

By 2004, 48.3% of the population lived in these counties. This trend continues to worsen. As Americans move to their preferred geographic bubbles, they face less exposure to opposing viewpoints, and their own opinions become more extreme. This trend is at the heart of why politics have become so polarizing in America.

We’re also seeing the same trend emerge online with social media. Despite the fact that the internet allows us to be exposed to more opinions that ever before, people choose to follow online voices that they already agree with. They’re slipping into digital bubbles that are comparable to their geographic bubbles.

This trend is irreversible as far as I can tell. That’s because it’s tied to innovation. As our country became more interconnected with roads and Americans gained more mobility, we chose to move to like-minded places. We’re given the internet, the greatest source of information in human history, and we use it to seek out only the information that reinforces our current beliefs.

We’re self-sorting at every level. Because of this, Americans are only going to grow more extreme in their beliefs, and see people on the other side of the political spectrum as more alien.

You can see how this is creating the perfect breeding ground for a real, physical war. The polarization makes it easier to dehumanize the other side. The self-sorting creates definable geographic boundaries that are necessary for a war. It spawns two sides with beliefs that are so divergent, that they cannot coexist.

We’re becoming two distinct nations with two competing visions for what the country should be. Two visions that are diametrically opposed. We used to be a nation of many nations that was held together, because there was still some common ground on what it means to be an American above all else. Now we can’t even agree on that.

Once the last shreds of common ground and understanding dissipate, a moment that is rapidly approaching, another civil war will be impossible to avoid. I wish I knew what the solution is, but I don’t. All I can say is, unless Americans go out of their way to listen to people on other side, whatever that side may be, there’s going to be a lot of blood in the streets.

yes divisions in political ambitions and ideologies that have made America Grate Again....
Trump is just carrying it out on a new higher level.
Walls, cut off money to 'sanctuary cities', Warmongrel talk, etc....

He is not trying to make things better for America. Just 'better' for HIS interests.

I agree with my above post completely except that I think
we're (US) are becoming more than two distinct nations
and I think the social/racial/ethnic melting pot was coming along rather nicely
until Obama and his administration began their divisive putsch.

The antifa leftists now seek to arm themselves and the patriotic right
is in turn reacting by considering the use of more effective and possibly lethal force.
Further escalation w/o police interference (perhaps with police assistance..?)
will result in civil war.
People, as we have seen here in this thread, are reactionary.
Blood in the streets of Berkely will spread to LA, NY, and so forth.

Who would win this civil war?
Neither side.

BTW, for the curious. There's a very interesting parallel between
many of the issues and events happening of late and those described by the
alleged time traveler John Titor, http://www.johntitor.com/ as having occurred in his timeline

I think the gulf between the left and the right is unbridgeable....I think it's futile and a waste of time to try...I think the country is just to big and to diverse to be ruled by one goverment, and the Federal goverment refuses to recognize the Consitution and the rights of the States to govern themselves.Instead of a collection of 50 enthusiastic experiments in goverment we have one lurching plodding dysfunctional beamouth who most people hate....that being said I don't think it will come to violence on a mass scale I think most people will find a peaceful solution before things get too fat out of hand....even liberal democrats are starting to speak out against the PC police...both Willle Brown and Elizabeth fauxahontis Warren have defended Ann Coulter's right to free speech.

This is the one that scares me since I live in Jersey. Was hoping since they dropped the WTC on 9-11 we would be safe in the NY, NJ area especially because this is Trumps neck of the woods, but maybe they just want to wipe us off the map this time:

Don't be scared, be informed...we've all known it's only a matter of time before
some SOB, foreign or domestic, detonates a suitcase bomb in one or several metropolitan areas.
The fact that they're rehearsing for it there and in Maryland means
they know it's coming...

As long enough humans feel the way that you do. Then Yes it will not work.
Especially when us against each other is what 'they' want.
If we gained wisdom it would be us against 'them'.

Try not!

Trump’s ‘big, beautiful wall’ collides with Congress

spending bill that must pass by Friday night to keep the government funded." data-reactid="31">WASHINGTON — President Trump reportedly backed off his demand that Congress include a down payment for a wall spanning the entire U.S.-Mexico border in a crucial spending bill that must pass by Friday night to keep the government funded.

Republican lawmakers have urged the president to focus on border security in general instead of the wall, which Democrats have called a poison pill that would cause them to reject the bill and shut down the government.

Associated Press reported. This is a sharp reversal from his position over the weekend and early Monday, when he doubled down on his demand for the wall. Trump tweeted repeatedly that the wall is necessary to stop the flow of drugs into the United States." Trump told a group of conservative reporters he invited to the White House on Monday that he was open to getting funding for the wall in September when Congress debates the 2018 budget, the Associated Press reported. This is a sharp reversal from his position over the weekend and early Monday, when he doubled down on his demand for the wall. Trump tweeted repeatedly that the wall is necessary to stop the flow of drugs into the United States.

On Tuesday morning, the president claimed he had not changed his position on the wall as the “fake media” was claiming, but he didn’t specify whether he still believed he would get the funds in this week’s spending bill, which increasingly looks like a political impossibility.

The president may have realized that with Democrats ready to shut down the government over the wall and many lawmakers in his own party skeptical of it, there was little chance of reaching a deal on his signature campaign promise before the Friday night deadline. Some critics noted that Trump had long promised that Mexico — and not the U.S. — would pay for the wall’s construction.

Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., praised Trump in a statement for taking the wall “off the table.” He had earlier called the demand a “monkey wrench” the president had thrown into sensitive negotiations between the parties over a series of spending bills to keep the government funded for the next five months.

[...]

“He said we would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it, … but he never said when,” Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, said Monday night on Fox Business. “Some things just take time and don’t occur real quick. I think that’s the way with the wall.”

Oh yeah, and Farage as well....it is really revealing that the rise of nationalisim is a reaction to the devestating effects on the working class by the elite globalist robber baron agenda....but the left and the neo-cons refuse to adrress the failures of globalisim for the masses./...because they can't..it's obvious globalisim doesn't work..instead the left and the neo-cons can only resort to calling the nationalists "racist"...it's like telling a rape victim they have prudish sexual hang ups. This means it's not the countries that have issues.... its the humans with issues.....

A country is a geographical area..... it can't take or instill personal responsibility or care... those are things for people to do.

no ....the problem is that people like to steal ,rob, murder and fuck over other people.when you have the vast differences that we see among the uber rich and the worker it's not because Cletus isn't working hard enough down at the Mc Donalds..It's because the elite have banded together to form goverments to protect a handufll of murderous pirates....they have written laws to kill free enterprise and competition, so the economy becomes a pay to play game.

Good article, but the author misses the mark on the why of it all. While it's true that "Americans have been self-sorting themselves along geographic and political lines for a long time", that is a symptom and not the disease..

The disease is the governments boots on the necks of it's citizens. The two competing visions, as the author calls them, have been using the government to place a boot(laws, regulation) on the necks of the people. The right has always passed laws against the left, mostly in form of forced morality(drug wars, sin tax, gays, abortion and etc) while the left passes laws against the right for free stuff and personal protection that the right must pay for(free food, housing, wages, regulation, and etc). Those are just a few examples.

The disease is the people using government to force their will on others. And, it has been going on for a very long time, he's right about that. What is getting us closer to civil war is the fact that all these laws which are to force each others wills on others have accumulated to the point that everyone feels the boot on their neck. The factions have made government so big that the people can't breathe, on any side.

It will become a civil war because all sides are fighting for the control of the boot(government) because the government now holds sway over the people. As the author points out, people have always held different views but used to live, in the US at least, together quite well. What was the difference then? Small government that allowed people to live their own lives. People could breathe.

It will become a civil war because all sides see government, even more government, as the answer. They have to fight for control of the power. They want more laws in their favor, more control over those they disagree with lest the other side gets it and applies it to them.

The true answer is to eliminate the boot, not control the boot. Take the power from the government and there is nothing to fight over. Live and let live.

It's going to take a good fight for people to see the light. Maybe they'll come to an agreement to not use government to force their views on others. I doubt it, until people realize that government is the problem and not the answer, there will be a massive fight for control over the government and when everyone feels the boot on their neck getting heavier the fight will turn from argument to violence.

no government ( lords/ ruling class) will protect interest of the general population ( common peasants).
They ( legit and shadow government) are fighting who is going to control general population, and collect profit from such a action.
People are taking sides miss lead by idea that "their" government will
do something for them.
Peasants are not, and will never be part of any government, so interest of general population is irrelevant. Promises are given to us, and then broken,...with no consequences on the end.
Trumps and Clintons are friends in private life, all rich people protect and support each other. That's how they stay in position of control. Two party system in U.S. is an illusion created to control general population.
Instead of dividing, people should unite and go against rulers.
Division between people will end with 2nd civil war, general population will suffer losses, and ruling class will make more money.
Btw, civil war is the only thing that can put "globalists " back in power. Sorros has been doing it all over the world for decades, he is doing it here now as well..and everything is going exactly the way he wants to.

www.nationalreview.com/article/447067/ann-coulter-berkeley-speech-canceled-leftist-mob-wins-again?

by David French April 26, 2017 3:47 PM
By allowing cowardly threats of violence to cancel Ann Coulter’s speech, school administrators and the police once again failed in their sacred duty to protect Americans’ constitutional rights. Early this afternoon, Ann Coulter canceled her planned Thursday speech at the University of California, Berkeley. There can now be no doubt: A violent Left-wing mob dictates the rules at one of the nation’s (and the world’s) most prominent academic institutions.

Let’s be crystal clear about the government’s obligation here: It is to protect liberty. That’s why government exists in our constitutional republic, to guarantee the exercise of our unalienable rights, especially when it is threatened. Berkeley instead has chosen to systematically strip those rights from its students and hand ultimate power to the mob, justifying its cowardice through a disingenuous appeal to public safety. The deprivation of individual rights is comprehensive, ominous, and intolerable.

First, Berkeley strips students of their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms so it can maintain and enforcing an allegedly gun-free campus. As a result, students are forced to depend entirely on campus and city police to secure their safety and liberty. Second, campus law enforcement has shamefully abdicated its role. According to a lawsuit filed against the university by the Young America’s Foundation and the Berkeley College Republicans, the campus police operate under what is essentially a “stand down” order, intervening only if they believe human life is in immediate danger. The mayor of Berkeley himself has justified lackluster police responses by claiming that if police had been more aggressive then “more people could’ve gotten hurt.” Let’s be clear about what this means: The police are failing to protect liberty in part out of a desire to protect the rioters from physical harm. That’s why entire city streets have seemed to be empty of police presence. That’s why rioters have been able to beat innocent citizens with impunity. That’s why so few arrests have been made. Third, this means that students and speakers face a terrible choice. Say the words the mob lets you say, when the mob lets you say them, or face the violence America has seen splashed on screens across the country. Men and women are being beaten with bats and bike locks. They’re being tear-gassed. They’re getting gang-tackled and stomped until they’re covered in their own blood. At a protest in Washington State, someone was actually shot. Given the level of violence thus far, it’s a miracle that no one has died; if things continue like this, someone surely will. Justifying his institution’s cowardice, Berkeley’s chancellor put out a statement discussing at length the university’s commitment to free speech and to student safety. But against the backdrop of law enforcement’s unwillingness to enforce the law, it’s clear that he — like the police — is trying to protect the mob. His obligation is to protect liberty, not to guarantee the safety of those who violently and lawlessly suppress individual freedom. He is knowingly granting the mob a heckler’s veto.

The gun on a police officer’s hip exists to protect himself and others, yes, but it also exists to guarantee liberty. Constitutionally literate leaders understand this truth. Constitutionally literate citizens understand it as well. The guns on our own hips represent our commitment to freedom, and this much I know: If law enforcement fails to defend our nation’s founding liberties, then, ultimately, an armed citizenry will. The choice is that stark. The stakes are that great.

Berkeley likes to say that it isn’t censoring anyone, that it’s merely imposing reasonable “time, place, and manner” restrictions on speech in an attempt to balance fundamental liberties with the safety of the campus community. But in reality, the university is in full retreat, with the mob forcing the speech it doesn’t like into smaller venues, at times when far fewer people can hear it. Like a whipped cur, U.C. Berkeley is being backed into its crate, its tale between its legs, yelping about safety every trembling step of the way. Colleges can do better. I’ve seen them do better. I’ve seen determined officers protect the most controversial speakers. I’ve seen the mob back down. All it takes is will. All it takes is courage. The government is not here to make rioters feel safe. Its first responsibility isn’t to make sure that only a “few” people get beaten and gassed for the crime of holding a charged political point of view. It’s here to secure and defend liberty. Berkeley is failing at that basic, fundamental task. Other universities teeter on the brink of the same failure. It’s time for political leaders to remember their first duty. The alternative isn’t systematic censorship, but civil conflict. Restore the rule of law now, or our nation will find itself in a dark place indeed.

It is said that Trey Gowdy's investigators were found dead in a shallow grave in Arkansas.
It is said that Gowdy is under police protection.
It is also said (as per Snopes) that both reports are "fake news"

I say No deductions at all and charge everyone 5% federal income tax.

No nanny state deductions guiding how you spend your money.

You have no house no children 5%
you have 12 children and 2 houses 5%
You made $5000 5%
you made 100 million 5%

Trump want to kill federal tax deduction for state and local taxes paid.
That is all. No story at 11.
Good.... they should also eliminate paycheck withholding. .. make every one write a check.......

Maybe then they will care what the Gubmint is DOING to us.

Ahh but the number of people being prosecuted for not paying taxes would be extreme.
Over withholding and deductions is the only way that most of America is able to 'save' any money.
If not for deductions the January sales of wide screen TV's would plummet.

I do not see my tax dollars subsidizing someones second home, or more children than they can afford to raise...
Every one should be responsible for their choices and actions in life.

Pure flat tax with no deductions is the fairest tax.

Ritual paedophilia and cannibalism/human sacrifice has been practiced by ruling class since the beginning of humanity, but well hidden in western world. Masses would be harder to manipulate if they would know who they are actually voting for. Any proof of such a practice has to be hidden from masses at any cost, or a mayor disturbance and revolt will take place. Just about any historian or student of ancient cultures know what is happening and why.
Killing investigators appointed by Gowdy is nothing compared to what they are willing to do just so they can stay in power. We are not more than a cattle to them, a cattle that have a option to vote what butcher we will go to.
There is nothing positive awaiting for humanity in the future, unless we wake up and stand up against the entities that rules us.
