Just out of curiosity, anyone uses CBD for all these aches and pains?

I tried the hemp based for a few months - I really didn't notice a difference, but a lot of people sure swear by it

Guess it depends on what your ailments are and the quality of it

I've met my own SIL exactly once, when our son was born and we drove up to N. MI to show him off. But we recently heard that one of her twin girls won some contest which now has championships or something, down here in ATL. So they'll be coming down in April, our son will finally meet his aunt (he was 6 wks old when he "met" her before!), and my husband and I will finally meet our nieces. :)

Starting out sore has heck this morning.

Yesterday was a Doc day for me. Went in for a blood draw then went to pick up my left hearing aid from being serviced. Anyway, got home and sat down in my comfy office chair in my living room full of Victorian style furniture. Went to lean back and "CRACK" and the "Stop" in the reclining feature broke. So I see the writing on the wall, go online and check Office Depot and Amazon.Warehouse Deals. and ordered this bad boy.

61Ird%2Br-9gL._SL1000_.jpg

Completely adjustable with padded neck, back and lumbar support. Also reclines. Due to be delivered via FedX tomorrow.

Later, I am in said chair, in my PJ's and my thick red and black bed socks talking to the Mrs. and there is another CRACK. Suddenly I am flat on my back, legs and feet sticking up in the air, mod in my right hand and TV remote in my left, wife laughing uncontrollably and the cat who had come to investigate is now sitting on my chest.

Dignity totally shot and reaching for Icy Hot Pads.

Awesome looking chair but evidently not very durable.

That chair will clash with Victorian furniture.

Yep, it will.

However, the comfort of my back, neck, and keester overrules my sense of style.

If I like it, I just may shell out a few $$$$ and have it upholstered in Victorian period fabric.

Then I will tell visitors that I got it second hand from Captain Nemo when he redecorated the control room of the Nautilus :vino:

It looks like a "Gateway" chair -- black and white cows. :D

I remember Gateway from way, WAY back in the day.

Technically, it what they call a "Gamers" chair.

Something to keep the Gamers comfortable while they spend way, WAY too much time in the chair playing games and eating junk food and drinking caffeinated soft drinks.

Which also explains the 300lb rating it comes with.

When I was shopping, my main objective was to find something that would give good support to my back, neck, shoulders and be soft to sit on.

And the black and white combo was by far the least obnoxious color combo available.

Neon Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Orange........ NO THANK YOU!

Are they still in business?

I think so. I had a "Gateway 2000" machine, back in the old 386sx days. Yeah, I'm really glad those days are gone, though I have a similar thing going on with my intel i5 -- it's a dual core machine, masquerading as quad core. Suits me fine, especially given the 16GB I loaded it with. :D

bought this desktop at Wally World 3 ? years ago.
6 gig of ram, AMD E1 1500 cpu, Radeon graphics, DVD burner, HDMI, etc
Think I paid $329 for it and nary a glitch.

Not a power machine but not bad either.

Hey, as long as it does what you need it to do, it's all good!

I got a great deal on mine as well.

A way more powerful machine than I need but it does what I want.

I used to be into building my own PC's.
Just buy em now :)
Cheaper that way unless maybe building a high powered machine.

Thanks!

Don't care much about the "Cool" factor, but it looks comfy as hell to my poor old broke down back and that's what counts to me.

Sorry to hear about the antics of your Ex and Ex FIL:(
Oh, we are still married after 30 years. The father in law died back in 99. I had to identify the body. Another horrible story.

Yes, he calls me bosshoney. :)

Well, I'm pretty well-trained too. My husband has the annoying trait of never having learned to sneeze with his mouth closed, in order to actually clear whatever is tickling his nose. Which means that every sneeze of his is accompanied by approx 5 more, VERY LOUD, until he finally gets a fucking clue and blows his damn nose. I have *mostly* learned to refrain from suggesting that if he closed his mouth... etc. Because it just leads to a screaming fit.
