It was uneventful, which is good. But sometimes, I hate new technology. I'm having to do a factory restore on a tablet I've only had for 3 weeks. Damn thing does nothing but crash.
Yeah it's a shame you can't hardly get anything that lasts but with that tablet they should give you a new one sounds like that one is a lemon

I've had this one for over a year, and had to do a factory reset when all it did was crash, and I did that shortly after I got the new one. Hopefully, the new one will behave itself and allow me to use it. 3 system UI crashes in one day is ridiculous, but at least I could still restart it. The old tablet refused to start back up for 3 days before the reset.

I'll be honest I have only had a computer for 4 yrs., never used one before that and am self taught on using it so I don't know what any of that means..
The first computer I bought was a Compaq with only a 3Gb hard drive, back in 1998. That thing cost $1400 back then. These days, some cell phones can do more than that thing could.

I had learned not to buy an Apple after the computer programming class I failed in high school.
As for my age, I'll be 52 next month.

Guess I was 17 when you were born :D

As for Apples, I still have a Mac Performa 550 (the first one to come out with a CD drive factory installed)... only 33 MHz (slow as molasses in January) but it still works and has never crashed even once in the entire time I have had it. As for this piece of Windoze shit I am currently typing on, it has more problems than I can count. :wait:

My Compaq was Winblows 98, and I had them upgrade me to 98SE. XP was better on the next machine I had, and it lasted me for a very long time, til I fried the motherboard. I got a small Winblows 7 desktop PC in the storage shed, a Winblows 8 laptop I seldom use, and a Winblows 10 laptop that won't let me use it.
I used to rebuild desktop PCs and sell them. Then, they changed everything so much that the newer ones are pretty much disposable. I still miss XP. I used to be able to hack a virus right out of my own hard drive.

XP was the best model they made, for my needs anyway.

Windoze XP is what this computer is and I'll keep it until it dies of old age. My preference for all the Windoze line was 98SE (which I built myself from scratch), but that one is in the graveyard now. I absolutely refuse to do Windoze 7-10. I hate companies that are so full of themselves that they think they know better than us what we want or need and how things will get done, even when we do not want to do them that way. Microsoft is the computer world's dictatorship.

Hi old pharts! Damm I get off work late. Seen a terrible truck accident on the way home. He ran off the road and his truck turned on its side. I do hope the driver survives.
