Lmao. :wait::wait: I’m fixing my hair, filing myself nails, drinking coffee... Just kidding, VJ.

My parents were retro nuts, so I basically didn’t have rock n roll growing up. :blech:

ROTFL.... :tantrum: Sorry Love, The top part of that was hilarious. Sorry to hear about the retro parents... If it helps, my parents were Jehovah Witnesses and I had to be a rebel to enjoy Rock and Roll.... Still remember my first album was the Black Sabbath Greatest Hits (Sold Our Soul), then the Twisted Sister - Stay Hungry Album.... Of course mom trashed them both.... Good thing my sister was almost 9 years older... She got me other stuff til it was found too....

Hey that's cool, I'm old but when I was a kid roller skating was big, we spent a lot of time there as kids, wasn't much else to do
Loved roller skating. Than as I grew older, it was a great excuse to go party. But, I actually missed roller skating. Same as taking karate lessons. Loved learning that, but my girl friend at the time, wanted to go party, so we did, missed out on my first brown belt and so forth :(

It was fun. The last time I went was about five years ago, I had a blast with my nephew.
Everyone is gonna think this weird...in karate class we all would lay on our backs and the "teacher" would walk on all of our stomachs. That was really building up the stomach muscles...the weird part...I liked it  yeah weird, I know, lol.

Interesting.... I made it as far as 2nd Kyu.... Then lost interest when the first BJJ trainer made it to town.... Studied that for a few more years until I had issues keeping weight. Between wrestling and BJJ I lost weight like crazy and it killed football for me..... If only I stayed committed to one sport then maybe I would've excelled thinking back. Oh well...

That's too bad, sorry. Yeah I agree, one would've been the key. I think nowadays parents have their kids do way too many sports. They probably did back then too, but I wasn't paying attention.
I use to play basketball, didn't like it, but the coach liked me because I was aggressive. Had to be because I was kinda of short to be playing, lol. Quit basketball. Started going to another school a few years later and wouldn't you know it, the pe teacher wanted me to play...yeah you guessed it...basketball, lol. I declined. But, she saw me stand up for myself. Some girl wanted to fight me because she walked right through my cigarette smoke outside in the smokers "lounge." Well, she decided to jump me in pe. Teacher let us go at it for a bit and then broke it up. After that happened the girl and all her friends left me alone :teehee: . But, the teacher kept on nagging me to play.

Otay, sorry for rambling.

Awesome story.... Sort of like the saying goes.... Take out the biggest one and watch the others fall into place.
