I was not banned but I'm getting sick and tired of ECF!

I've been a member of ECF since Jan 2010 and have over 3,000 posts there.

I've not been banned and I've only received one warring in all my time there.

I one warning I received was for 'buying and selling outside of the classifieds section' There was a new member who had not been verified. He was short on cash and didn't have a PV. I offered to send him something I never use for free and I would even pay for shipping. My post was deleted and I was warned.

About a year ago it started getting bad with the clicks and gangs that have taken the place over. Some members are allow to hurl personal attacks, put downs and name calling because they are friends with the moderators. This empowers these members to continue acting poorly because they know there is no backlash.

In my time there I've seen members, who are not in the click, gang, or friends with moderators, get banned and railroaded for far less that what these 'in the click with the moderators' members have done and said. Recently it's getting to the point of no return. It's only about 10 or so members (that I've noticed) but they operate with impunity and they know they can do as they please all the while their moderator buddies look the other way.

I'm not really interested in dropping names or calling people out as that's not really the point of my post. I see there are plenty of ECF horror stories here and the names that have popped up in them are similar to the ones I have seen as being in a click and / or out of control.

I'm looking for a new place to hang my hat as I'm pretty fed up with the crap, clicks and gangs that roam ECF.

The issue I see at ECF is that if someone is a real life, or an online friend with a moderator they can do as they wish with complete impunity. If someone who is not buddy, buddy with a moderator(s) were to post the same stuff that they do, they'd be warned or banned in an instant!

There are also packs of gangs that roam the joint. If you happen to say something against or disagree with one of their fellow gang members then the rest of the gang piles on. This behavior is generally a result of at least one person in the gang being friends with a moderator.

I don't miss the joint to be honest. Kind of wish I'd found this place earlier. I took about an 8 month break from ECF last year because I was so fed up with the garbage. Went back to the same garbage that's getting worse and worse everyday..

I was banned for telling a member not to email me. dude emailed me cussing me out anyway, so when I reported it, I got banned.
Then I bought something off the classies, the dude accused me of being a thief after sending it to north Carolina rather than Louisiana, I told him I wMed my money back and would not leave feedback, so he started calling me at minding and 2 in the morning every night.
After I magically got the merchandise, I told sonic I wanted a new identity, because the seller was still calling, and emailing me. somehow I got a permanent ban.

To ad those were the only times I ever reported anything, yet in was averaging 4 infractions a week before them..both times were extreme, 5 'fuck you' emails in a few minutes and thru other calling every half hour all night.

-I think the secret is a provape banner, both of those members had one as the golden ticket

I joined this form and one other....on the other i can only post in the new member section so it does no good till they deside to promote me. i have not been on that one since. It is really to bad there are so many jerks out there and people that cannot be nice.
i am a senior and started vaping to kick my three pack a day habit I have had for 44 years. An to answer what I think everyone is thinking, YES I CAN STILL BREATH. however..... I feel better and smell better not smoking! I could not believe i stopped smoking the first day I started vaping. I went into this with the idea I would smoke a real cigarette when I wantted one.....
