At the moment - south central Indiana. Warning it can go from 57 to 104 in a day and you'll hate yourself for moving here. Its not the heat its the breathing through mud feeling when it gets to be sauna temps.
I was born in Indiana and I can verify that right south of Chicago :)

The FA thread got word from the boss, but this one has a higher count. Must be Ace's fault.

I always said my cat probably eats better than I do. Well, now there is this....

Her dry food is by Solid Gold, they make really nice foods, but I didn't know they made wet foods also until I found some.

I opened the tin and went omagardwhaaaat....

That, is cat food.

Jeesh, that looks better than my Wal-Mart tuna I made sammiches with today...lol

Even on a plate...I'd eat it.

Well, Tiki ate the entire plate like it was her last meal.

Then, went to sit up upon high and survey her Queendom... ;)

Yup, I spoil my baybee kitteh. But, she's never been sick and is a very happy cat. :)

Too cute CaFF! Solid gold huh. Didn't think that was digestible. I'll have to rethink my eating habits. I have tons of the stuff, gold not tuna.

Got ya beat by 7 degrees Ace its 80 here
San angelo, Tx
Pshh... We're already getting close to 100 in Northwest Louisiana. Then factor in the 118% humidity all the time.

Well, did everybody hit the hay? @VapingJunkie, I know what you mean about the heat and humidity down there! I grew up east of Huston with 120% humidity, 98-110 degrees and not a cloud in the sky! Made playing high school football a royal pain in the ass! I also made the biggest mistake in my life when I decided to work hot tar roofing for a Texas summer! Try those conditions while carrying two buckets of 550 degree hot tar (called steap) across a baking flat rocked roof!

I've had worse. Try 120 degree summers while lugging a 40-pound tool belt and 25 - pound box of cable through a 130 degree attic. Or paving asphalt. Sometimes we had to get into the truck with the hot mix, so we didn't dump too much.

Yep, you win! Just thinking of being in an enclosed atic oven with high humidity and sticky fiberglass is enough to admit defeat without having to experience it!

Yeah, then you get to swim through it, looking for cables. Still wearing the tool belt. Anyone wonder why I don't work for DirecTV anymore? LoL

In regards to the hair thing...you guys are funny. It's horrendous, don't get me wrong, but I'm not too worried. I'm just new at this stuff. I wouldn't care if I didn't have to deal with new teens next week.

I been laughing reading this. Have had visions of my moms green or purple hair from color mishaps. And this was many moons ago when she was younger. I think she went in pool one time shortly after she did coloring and hair turned funky.

I have so much gray. But it still blends together really well. I get my head shaved like a high fade. TOH gets pissed cause she says I look to much like boy lol

Damn it's Wed already!

Yesterday was my anniv. TOH and I have been together for 19 yrs. Didn't do anything special. Went to nice seafood restaurant we been wanting to try. Then took dog to lake for a little while.

Went to outlet mall. She got me a pair of Vans shoes. Was 1/2 size too small. Exchanged those.

I'm mainly barefoot or very minimal shoes but Vans so far are comfy. I got the slip on style.

Time for me to start work. Have a good day all!

The money was amazing, but it's easy to burn out when you work 12 hours a day, 6.5 days a week.

@ClaireW big congrats on the anniversary.
@VapingJunkie spent month of June 2 y.ago working in Houston. Turned a black baseball cap completely salt white in 1 day. Ugh
From personal experience @Ace , you could have also turned a white cap black from the sweat and dirt!

Lol. Vans slip ons are my favorite. They're pretty much all I wear when not at work.

Happy Anniversary!!! 19 years? Damn! I've never done anything for that long...besides breath and live.

RP Jr, I need a little help.

Topic thief...for an important person. Please allow me to play through for a question.

Is there a real word in our English language pronounced "hypocraful" (not sure of spelling) . It would be somewhat related to the word "hypocrisy". The meaning would be "that story is not true..."

My granddaughter and I are in a discussion, after she watched the new kids movie "Mr. Peabody & Sherman. She is saying the word is valid, and I want to make sure she is correct. She is damned smart for 9!!

Happy Anniversary Claire! Vans are so comfy. I used to have the craziest pair of Van sneakers. They used to be #3's go-to skater shoe.

I need to find a tree service today. I'm scared. From what little research I've done, they're sounding like $400 a tree is a bargain. Gulp. I just have to suck it up, there's a very large Southern Pine (wannabe telephone pole) with a very large dead hanging branch waaaaaaaaaaaay the frig up there.

I feel your pain. I live beside a bunch of pecan trees. (Read: falling heavy limbs from a light breeze)

If its near the street or a power line try city or elec. Company. Sometimes they'll take care of it.

9 year Olds should be in charge of language anyhow. Give her the win and find ways to use it.

The word is probably hypocritical. However, it doesn't mean an untrue story. It's someone who basically says one thing but does another...but I would tell her she's right =)

Perhaps apocryphal? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/apocryphal?show=0&t=1406740788

Really good news!!!! The estimate was nowhere near $400 a tree. Yippee! Bigass pine tree? $275. Bigass Water Oak? $275 for a trim, $375 to remove. Awesomely nice people too, fellow ex-NJites. Plus she thought I was about her age, which is 38, (#1 is going to be 34 Saturday) so I gave them the job. haha :)

Ummmm I didn't realize it, but I have a problem. I like to pride myself on not owning anything unnecessary. I guess I was wrong. However, I do wear them all, and I can say that besides a couple of dressy shoes for work, that's all I own.

but nonetheless, it's ridiculous.

Well, you can't be mom #2 if you look my age. Darn!

Sure I can. lol The Italian Ice lady up in NJ thought I was #2's girlfriend. Besides, I don't really look that young. Some people need glasses.

You're welcome @rowdyplace ! She sounds wonderfully precocious!

Before I read what I've missed, MFS has a liter of 100mg nic for $50. No coupon code required, and it ends August 31 unless they run out earlier. I've never used theirs, so I won't comment on quality.

I agree with your/our hope for America's future. I'm glad to hear about your daughter's awareness. I have made the same comment pertaining to my g'daughter saving this country...

Let's hope that there are many more like these 2 hiding in the fourth grade.
