God, how awful , hope things get better for you , not too many things i hate more than having an abundance of excess cash.
Only reason I can think of for me buying all this vape gear I don't need. And when I started I thought I'd be saving money.

Self control my friend , having it is what allows you to save money instead of constantly spending it. It's also critical to know what you like and what type of device / setup will produce a satisfying vape for you.

Once you figure that out you do your research and buy the device and other stuff that will provide you with that , you got to know what your personal vaping preferences are .

Without knowing that it's just a never ending money pit.

I love my sigelei plume combo. It is probably all I need. But I like new and shiny things.

What is this selfcon troll you speak of?

Well I am glad I ordered more attys. My plume veils are having issues with their positive posts. Has anyone here had issues with the positive posts coming out of the base due to a loose insulator when screwing the atty on?

hold the center post in place with a pair of pliers, and gently snug the bottom screw with a flathead screw driver

The plume veil has been my go to for quite a while followed by the veritas. We'll see if the orchid takes the spot when it comes in. Ive had one of my plume clones come loose, and i snugged it up but itll keep coming unloose. I have more than enough spares so i havent messed it it much

  1. Liking this new Mephisto just got in . Dual coils .6ohm. Holds lots of juice and doesn't leak easily. Tons of air if you want

I just got a big dripper clone a week of so ago. I haven't used anything else since. It works as well as my other drippers, and is way more convenient.

I would love an RDA with a huge juice well that produced superb taste , the Big Dripper sounds like a must try .

My Veritas comes close to that description and has a deep juice well (the 1:1 does ) the other Veritas clones have a much shallower juice well .

A 1:1 Veritas in the 28-29 mm size would be unreal but every one in that size i have seen is not a 1:1 design and lacks the height and juice well capacity.

The Big Dripper is wonderful! It's kind of an upgraded omega deck, not difficult to build or leaky. Flavor is great. AND you don't need to arrange a bottle around with you!

I have the big dripper but with the air holes closed halfway the 90vg liquid slowly comes out into the deck it's sorta nice. I guess vacuum pulls it out. But I still use my veritas more for some reason. I get at least 30 pulls before refilling the drip well

Origen, magma, and veritas are my faves. Tobeco makes the Origen and veritas, FT 1:1 magma.

I also really like my trident and anima clone.

And I've got my eye on the big dripper clone. Maybe the plume veil or dark horse too.

Anyone know how the orchid compares to the aqua? I have an aqua and wonder if the orchid is much different.
Well I put my aqua into the pay it forward box. I used to use my taifun and kayfun exclusively until I got the orchid, I use it constantly, the flavour is excellent. I use 28 or 30 Guage kanthal at 1.1 ohms. It is marvelous. Actually prefer the 30 Guage in the orchid.

I've never seen one of those, looks kinda kayfun like?

I've been really looking at those. Are the clones pretty solid? Have you tried using it single coil?

I looked at the Vulcan for a long time but something just kept drawing me back to the Big Block. Now I want a CLT2, its like an upgraded Vulcan

I haven't used it in single coil mode, but I'm sure it's possible if you use wicking to block the unused channels. I have the version 2 orchid clone and it is very well made.

The clones are solid. The originals were limited production so they are almost impossible to get. They are designed for dual coil due to the dual air flow from below. The airflow is not adjustable so unless you block one air hole yourself, single coil will be more airy and with some muted flavor.

@lavender1742 Yes the Lemo is very Kayfun-like.

Biggest difference:
It has a glass tank
The deck is bigger and easier to build on
There are holes below the screws to catch wires. So you have two choices
Massive airflow
AFC control is on the base. It is a nut that you turn in and out to adjust the airflow
Much lighter than a kayfun

I guess I need to do a little review on this one since people are curious about it.

would love to see the internals of this. also where can we buy?

I've been going old school. Right now my fav has been the AGA T2 with ReadyXwick. Really brought life back to that Genny. I don't go far without my IGO S either. It's small but man does it produce cloud and flavor! Have a big dripper on the way that I got off ebay. Should be here in morning I hope!

I got my orchid v3 today and must say I'm impressed. The quality is good. My fill hole isn't being blocked by the chimney. I'm running 26 g kanthan 7 turns on a 1/16" bit reading at .4ohms lots of vapor I am going to have to step down my nicotine from 12mg to 6mg. I can't take full hits without coughing. It is performing just as well as my modded kayfun if not better. I must say there is no room between the tank and chimney so vaping max veg is a task but it's going good so far. Been about an hour with it. Will defineitely try the v4 next.

I'm currently using a magma clone it's a solid rda. It could use a little upgrading nothing is perfect but for ease of build and flavor/vapor production it is great. I'm waiting on the v2 clone of the big dripper currently. I also have a copper plume veil clone v1 that does the job also. I have my eyes on some others as well. Like the 454 and the monster cloud they both look interesting.

My igo w with drilled out air holes blows really big tasty clouds and you can get one for less than $10 these days.

As far as RDA's , the Magma is average at best for blowing clouds (even with both air holes open) but for pure taste it rules imo.

where is the thread of your mod? I want to use the tank you are using. I have a V3 and it goes through juice as fast as my drippers but more in convenient because I have to remove the atty and take a screw out. plastic tanks are fine, I just ordered some non tank crackers to sample.

agreed. modest clouds from mine as well but im ok with that. shit, i dont even use 100VG, usually 50/50. i love clouds but i love flavor more.
i did replace the pos screw on mine with my now dormant pulse g genny's copper pos screw. fits perfectly and def makes a difference.

Yeah , i use 50/50 as well and flavor is the most important to me , i know some are fascinated by clouds but the only reason i like to see at least a decent amount is to convince myself the damn things working lol.

I'm liking my new Mephisto so much, I think I will buy another one. This is one fantastic atty. Flavor and draw like the plume veil without the mess, and holds 3 times more juice

Just got an Orchard V4 by Tobeco but unfortunately filled it with juice that tastes like hand soap. Then my batteries died.
I'll get back to you when things get better.

Franny, can I get some help? Everyone loves their Orchid but I'm having problems. Maybe it's my build. I've got it wicked like 'native juice vapers.' Maybe that's not the best build for me. Got any suggestions?

Mini or micro coils centered 1.5-2mm over air holes, 5mm blunt wick tails curved down ending at top of each juice channel. Some go longer and stick ends into the channels but I don't see why.

Sincerely, Zooey. (Franny's apparently not here right now.) :)

Got a tobeco orchid v4 yesterday, and I am loving it so far. Have it built to .5 on my sigelei, and this thing hits like a dripper. For rdas, have to go with the magma. Some of the best flavor I've had out of an rda

I have found that my personal favorite is the mutation.... excelnt airflow options and plenty of room to build... my next favorite is my stillare, i love it with a 3/4 to 1/2 inch copper fitting reducer/ it looks pretty sick on my 4nine. also makes for a mad cheep cap that i can drip right in with no mess.

Looks like a huge exaggeration when you bold what I wrote, and subjectively not really true. However, 2 x coils, 2 x juice channels, and 2 x air vents are not subjective. Y'all can estimate the results for yourself. :)

Actually though, I own both a kayfun lite and orchid, (EHPro and Tobecco respectively) and I would agree that the Orchid is twice the hit and half the draw. It really has been a game changer for me.

+1 , the Magma is not the biggest cloud producer but whats clouds without over the top taste , meaningless lol . The Magma is at the pinnacle for taste imo and no matter where you read the reviews for it most seem to agree.

Wow, thats the second time i heard somebody say that , this is clearly a must buy then.
