    Good morning ya'll.

'On awakening let us think about the twenty-four hours ahead. We consider our plans for the day. Before we begin, we ask God to direct our thinking, especially asking that it be divorced from self-pity, dishonest or self-seeking motives. Under these conditions we can employ our mental faculties with assurance for after all God gave us brains to use. Or thought-life will be placed on a much higher plane when our thinking is cleared of wrong motives.'

He was released and brought him home yesterday around 4:30PM and he was being a PITA so he was feeling OK. This morning he is chipper so even better~! Only thing I am concerned with is his Blood Oxygen is a little low and I had him on 3 Liters since he got home. Will check the Cannula and hoses today for kinks or crimps.

My name is Nick and I’m 2wks away from hitting two years sober. I dunno if it’s the holidays or the added stress of hosting said holidays but damn I’ve really wanted a drink this week...I’m not but the thought has crossed my mind a time or two. Have a great day and vape on!

Good afternoon VU family. I used to think when you got into recovery that your problems would magically mend themselves. I have never had this long in recovery without the aid of either a locking door, handcuffs, or both. Suffering tremendously killing myself as slow as humanly possible.

Today, I heard someone at the bus stop say that people need to realize that addiction only hurts the person doing it. That it should be legal. And while I agree with some aspects of full legality, I strongly disagree with addiction only hurting the one addicted to it.

What about the children? You don't have children? What about your family? In some way you ARE HURTING MORE THAN YOURSELF. That type of thinking is cancerous.

Today I'm going to think about all the people I've hurt, and about the people who love me. The people that went down the road with me. And all my brothers and sisters who are still struggling.

I'm struggling, but it's more mentally than drug related... But I'm better equipped to handle life's struggles. I love you guys
