Wow that is strange. I have the blue one. Maybe it's just production quality but I don't see why color would make a difference.

I don't know either ...could have been a production thing....but ahhhh I don't use it anymore. .

I use ejuice for o-ring lubricant.

Juice is water soluble. Silicone is super slick and seals on a molecular level.
