I don't know, they got me off cigarettes, so while I do have a certain nostalgia there; its just a mod. just like any other mod. I will NEVER understand fanboism at all. everyone has there favorite "x.y. and z" but that's where it stops.

They take that Porvari nonsense WAY to far over yonder. Good lord, I was reading one thread and it was like people were calling their mothers a whore. They would argue till the cows come home why everyone should have a Provari.....
The damn thing is a frigging battery holder, I never did get the jest of their arguments...really unbelievable......

Maybe it's because I like so many different things. Maybe it's because I have real problems.

now, I don't see anything to differentiate it from a performance aspect.
- as to the rest, I agree.
Someone gave me one because they never used it. I used it for a little while, but it didn't impress me. I mean, yes, it's machined well, it does what it's supposed to, but I get a far better vape from my $30 mods.
Must have been before my time....only been smoke free for a year and a few months.
Glad I missed the Provari heyday's though....

oh yeah, their hayday was back before the dna20. for a while you had the 33.33mhz rattlesnake mods, (sigelei, vamo... the china stuff then) mechanicals, provape or the Darwin by evolv.Must have been before my time....only been smoke free for a year and a few months.
Glad I missed the Provari heyday's though....
that's when provape really stood out. when evolv did the dna20 a whole new world opened up

Yep, before my time...the first mod I bought after retiring the Aspire Spinners was a Vapor Shark DNA 30. Then I bought the rDNA 40 from VS, they both still work like new, although I haven't used them routinely in many months. Now it all squonkers, except the two Boreas RTA's, which vape really nice (after I figured out the best wicking method).
Hank I think that too was a requirement for Provari owners, they had to have a Zen.....!

I went from the prorape to the vaporsharks... if anything I'm more a vaporshark fan than anything, but my loyalty Is to whatever mod is in my hand at the time.
I don't have a provari, I just followed the thread because of what was posted there. I then saw what was being said and decided to show y'all.... I've never hated 'em. I just wouldn't pay that much for a mod. The early ones, I didn't care for how they looked either, though the later versions weren't bad. But too rich for my blood. I don't care how "quality" they are, I can't afford them. BMW's are great cars I hear, but I'll probably never own one, because they're too expensive for me.

You guys are the ones that helped me most on ECF when I was in deep need of support and guidance in trying to quit smoking and I will be forever grateful.
I always resented the narrow constraints on the language allowed on ECF, but I had no idea how deep the censorship ran until recently.

I got my first one for two reasons. mostly to blow my budget and force myself to not be able to afford cigarettes. But, also because I tried a 33.33 mod, and it tasted burnt. - hindsight being 20/20 I'm sure it wasn't the pwm , but I didn't know any better at the time; so I made the association.
the ones ive bought since, have been due to an illness- Gear Acquisition Syndrome. To be fair, I also have an istick 100tc, a hexohm, 6dna40 mods, 3,dna200s,2 dna30s, 2 sx350j's and 12mechmods. So, I spread myself around pretty good. I'm not an uber fanboy of anything. Ever mod has its plusses an minuses. not a single one of them is perfect. People who equate their fealings for others with how someone else inhales nicotine really need to think about how lucky they are to have such a serious problem to concentrate on. I would hate to see how they would handle the real hardships that life can throw.
my issues have have always revolved around attempts to have logical discussions, about electronic theory; and, acceptance in general.
